I was working my Ozark route when I noticed I may have had bent blade. I stopped into Loftis and the guy behind the counter got me a new blade and installed in less than 15 minutes. THAT IS SERVICE! As a small business owner it's hard to find a shop that understands TIME IS MONEY. Loftis is my go to shop from now on.

Only 1 star because employees were friendly. I went to the place of business and asked them to order a blade clutch for my Toro Zero turn. I was told that the part should in by the end of that week. At the beginning of the next week I had not heard from them so I called.two days in a row. Fitst time I was told it would be checked into and they would call me back in a bit. No return call. Next day — same run-around. Absolutely no clue what I was talking about. So I chose to not go through Loftis — even for just ordering a basic part. If they can’t handle that then how could I entrust them with repairs?

Great place! Our belt came off and went down there for help and they fixed it on the spot! We had bought the mower there and they didn't charge us anything! Always have had good service.

Absolutely the worst.They kept lying to me about whether my mower was being worked on. Kept contracting themselves on what order it would be worked on. The lady who answers the phone literally lied to me several times and couldn’t get anything done. The owner undermined the lady in the front office saying that the mechanics didn’t work on my mower because they didn’t do what she said / didn’t take her seriously and just did what they wanted to.It took over 6 weeks to get my mower back and all they did was basic maintenance. I would’ve picked it up earlier and just done it myself but they kept telling me it would be done by certain times then didn’t get it done.Would NOT recommend.Only gave 2 stars instead of one because the work was done just fine once they actually worked on it.

You picked up our riding mower to do warranty work from Lowes thru a 3rd party you claimed the motor was blown you sent the mower back and dropped it off with NO MOTOR I have called 3 times now and the first 2 times you guys said ok we will bring the motor back still haven't the manager nor owner is ever there when I call. And our motor still has not been returned called today March 20th again at 3:20pm no manager again . This mower needs to be returned the way your shop received it and that is a mower with a motor in it .

Long time reader, first time writer. Not sure about sales group. But the service and repair business is a joke. Their "system" of tracking work and progress is non-existent.Dropped off a generator for repairs (mid June), 1 week later they called and said it needed a new carburetor. I said ok make it happen. At this point I was feeling pretty good.3 weeks later (mid July not) I called back and they said they were waiting on me. Fine. So I give them the OK to order parts. Called back 3 weeks later (1st week of August) to find out they had done nothing, so they said they were going to order the parts.It's been 10 weeks now (early September). I just spoke with them and they just ordered "that one more part they thought they had but didn't".Best bet is to watch some YouTube videos and do the work yourself.

This place was an authorized repair shop for my dewalt 6500 generator. I had an issue with the idle control brought it in on a Tuesday they had it fixed by Thursday I think. Made a few small adjustments to the carb and it works as it should. If I have any other issues I will happily return for repairs. The inside is nice open floor plan not cluttered plenty of small engine tools and supplies friendly staff the huge horse dog was very friendly.support your local small business owners.

Purchased a new Husqvarna Lawn Tractor from Loftis that has a defective seat that moves forward when stopping or going down a slight grade and will not stay safely locked in place. Contacted Loftis about the problem and they picked up the mower and then returned it (at no charge) but unfortunately they did not fix the problem. Loftis picked the mower a second time, but this time they wanted to charge a shop and delivery fee although again they did not fix the problem. Tried numerous times to talk to owner but he was never available and after this last visit the Loftis employee informed me that Loftis was thru with me and the mower (which has a 3 year warranty) so as recommended by Husqvarna I took the mower to another shop. They were able to greatly improve the seat function but are in the process of a "Novel Idea" of filing a warranty claim with Husqvarna to replace the defective seat.

Don't ever get a mower from here. My dad was sold a lemon and they refused to fix or replace it. When he called the lady on the phone was very rude. He's only had it since February and it's been in the shop 6 times. It only has 30hrs on it. What a joke of a place.

The price was astronomical when we picked up our mowers for a simple yearly service. Got them home and had to turn around and take both back because one leaked fluid all over our garage and the other was a mess covered in fluids they spilt all over it and it was never cleaned up. I am very disappointed in the services for Loftis!I have also been trying to contact them to see if they will be ready for pickup after being dropped off to fix their screw up and no one will answer or it’s a busy signal all the time! Not happy

Loftis is a great repair and retail place!I love the fact that these folks don't treat me like I am dumb because I'm a woman, yet they recognize that because I'm a woman I might need help getting my equipment out of my vehicle. They hit that difficult sweet spot of serving women well in an area dominated by men.Each time I go here I have a good experience, whether it's for repairs, seasonal tune-ups, or purchases. Plus, their prices are fair and reasonable across the board.(My male friends and family agree with all of the above, FYI.)

A company cannot be great with their customer service every day. I write on a site first time ever because the service was so rude.I called ahead with model number and make for a lawn mower blade and was told "I guarantee we have it." He didnt even want to check the model number. I drove 40 miles round trip to the store. Showed pictures of the blade I needed. I was given wrong blade ANYWAY causing me to abort my scheduled home maintenance visit and expense.I travel another 20 miles to get the correct blade. Steve, who stated he was owner, defended each statement and excuse of why I was given wrong blade as if it was my fault. I was thorough in my process, yet the owner put blame on me. He would not compensate me for the drive, gas, or difference in price. Is this because I am a women? Because I knew they made the mistake dispite how much evidence I presented for the correct blade I needed?Shame on them for leaving a customer feel wronged and devalued. All over a $9.62 blade. And I didnt even get an apology or the difference in price. His final words? "I have to pay for the blade."I understand their site has a million views. But how many times do they treat customers so unkindly behind closed doors. So I drove home 20 miles.This place deserves to hear an honest complaint. This must be very important for me to take my precious time in sharing about their poor-rude-inconsiderate service.Jennifer

These Guys are amazing! I'll drive every time from Springfield just to have my equipment worked on by these guys. had to bring my trimmer in for some repairs and they gave me a trimmer as a loner to keep me in going. Hands down will always have my business.

I gave it one star only due to the fact that the gentleman I talked to was friendly. As for the work they performed on my equipment that's another story. They lied on several occasions about the work they did. When I got my equipment back it was worse then when I took it in. It was taken in under warranty. They had it two weeks and never heard from them. Finally we got a hold off them and they said the mower was done. Went to pick it up because they said they couldn't deliver it for a couple days. When we picked it up they said the work wasn't under warranty and charged us for it. We never even received a call during the time they had it to let us know any of this. But they did the "so called work" on it anyways without informing us that they would have to charge. Took it to another repair shop who verified that the work they "claimed" they did was false. Loftis even thru in some extra charges that I am working on to try and get my money back. They also charged for pick up and delivery which I ended up having to pick it up myself. Very, VERY shady business practices.I am contemplating taking them to small claims court for their fraudulent work and charges.

This is one of the best small businesses in the area. I have a DR lawn vaccuum that needed new wheel bearings on all four wheels. DR doesn't sell just the wheel bearings you have to buy the whole wheel, tire, bearing assembly. Loftis had four of the assemblies that they could have sold me at $40 each but the staff at Loftis went the extra mile and called O'Reilly's who had the bearings in stock. They saved me $90 and didn't make a dime. For the same DR vacuum, I needed an air filter which you cannot find at lowes or home depot. They didn't have one on the shelf so they took one off of one of their new units and sold it to me. Whenever I need something for my lawn equipment this is where I will go even though there are closer places.

My dad took his blower to be repaired. They had it a month and kept giving him the runaround. Yesterday he went to get it and they had given it to another customer. They offered him a junker as a consolation. But that was it. Do NOT go there. They are the worst!

I wish steve would have been there on saturday. He wouldt have never charged me 40.00 for 10 min job. Somedays they are on it. This day was not a good day. At least please cover the customers tools if you have to leave it outside.

I went to Loftis with a used Rollator Walker. Even though Loftis is a small engine repair shop, Bill was so kind! He worked on it for free fixing the brakes. What a wonderful, compassionate group of people! Thank you Loftis!
