Having the entire pharmacy shut down for lunch doesn't say much about their customer service when there are generally at least two or more people there. If a person shows up at 1:29 and a half pm, they are ignored, and the gates are abruptly brought down in their face. When this happened to me, I waited around for half an hour because driving home and back would have taken longer. When I questioned why they shut down entirely for lunch when there are several people here? Why can't they rotate like most businesses do? I was abruptly told. "Sir, all of the pharmacy's in this area close at 1:30 for lunch." This didn't really answer either of my questions. Then I was abruptly told. "Sir, I worked for 32 years without taking a lunch, so I'm happy to get one." At that point, I just took my stuff and left. I guess she really didn't owe me an explanation. Except for the fact that I'm the customer. I'm also a responsible man, so if she'd have said that, there are laws that require every pharmacy to be closed at the same time. Or, Pharmacy Techs aren't allowed in the pharmacy without the Pharmacist there. I would have been satisfied.

I called my Dr on Friday for a script for my husband. Not one word from CVS . I called again on Monday, they still had no clue about the script. My Dr said it was sent out on Friday. Not a word from CVS! I changed pharmacy ! I shouldn't have to go through this at my age, 74, I deal with my husband and his dementia every day!

Clean store, lots of different goods from fragrance to skincare to all around beauty supplies. They also have a nice pharmacy department, as well as snacks, drinks, candy & drinks & spirits. The register receipt includes helpful savings on their goods.

Pharmacy is horribly understaffed and has been for a long time. The people try their best but the entire thing is hinged on one single person. Fun fact: Cvs paid back $10.9 Billion to shareholders last year.

Wish I could put zero stars. Sick at home trying to get my prescriptions refilled. Used the app but then it messages me saying the order was canceled. Been trying to call for 3 hours but no one answers the phone just hold music and constant reminders to use the app.

We switched to this CVS several months ago when the pharmacy we were using downsized. My family all has several medication filled at different times during the month. EVERY time I have went to pick up a RX there has been an issue. Our insurance covers all of the cost of our meds. They should know this by now! We have been using them months. Still they always give a total that they say insurance wont pay. Then they act like it is a hassle to do the job that they should have done in the first place.After complaining several times nothing seems to get done about the incompetence. The supervisor's excuse is I wasn't there that day. Unprofessional and uncaring about their clients!

They are always out of my medication or can't fill it on time. Two months ago, they were out of it. Last month, they said they couldn't fill it because they couldn't get into their safe. I was without meds for three days while waiting for them to get into their safe. Now, they say they can't fill it on time even though the prescription clearly says today's date. I will obviously be changing pharmacies and I sincerely doubt that CVS cares.

What is wrong with this store? The people are rude, won't use the drive thru now, but yet did not put up a sign to come inside. They closed up the store on Sunday even though the site says they are open after driving 20 miles to get there. I'VE HAD IT!!! Going somewhere else

This is the best CVS store that I have used for items and pharmacy. I have used locations in Kansas and Missouri and I vote Lake Ozark THE BEST!!!

Took my service dog in with me an she is a 7 months old an the old lady that works there asked if she was service dog cuz the look of her makes people uncomfortable an people have complained..! Wow she never leaves my side, makes no noise, and is trained to be obedient an calm. Maybe people need to check their insecurities an quit calling those little barking cats they have dogs..!

I just moved to the Ozarks & when I went to this CVS I was over the top impressed with the personal service I received on setting up my auto refills & how to save money with discount cards. One employee that stands out to me is Trisha, she knew my name at sight from day one. I’m in my 60’s & I’ve moved a lot & changed pharmacies several times. This is by far the best I have ever experienced.As a update to my prior review:While on vacation my auto refills where filled. Trisha (She is the one with the tattoos) held my perceptions until I returned from vacation. It is because of her personal service & knowing the customers that makes her so amazing. I will never go to a different pharmacy as long as Trisha is working at this CVS.

I have used this pharmacy for the last two years. They have great staff, we get meds fast and they contact docs when prescription’s expire. I drive from other side of Osage beach to pick up meds wouldn’t go anywhere else. Best pharmacy around!

I have been using the pharmacy for year's. Great staff, very knowledgeable, professional and nice. They get your prescriptions filled fast. Give them a try, I think you will be happy with them.

I like the pharmacy department as long as you go inside to get help or call. When we use the drive through they don’t come to the window. If they do, we feel as if we have interrupted them. It is always faster to go inside. I feel for the pharmacists, they don’t have enough help. Either their management is awful to work for or they don’t pay enough. The turn over in help here is crazy!

Me and my husband visited this store 8/1 and I was absolutely disgusted with the bathroom and the response received by the employee I notified.The bathroom was TRASHED and NASTY...and there was absolutely NO toilet paper. I didnt even want to sit with the toilet seat protector.The employee I told the bathroom had no toilet paper had nothing more to say than "ok." She walked in the direction of the bathroom so I'd assume she took care of it.When I visit the area again we will never go back to this store.

I went to pick up a prescription for my mother through the drive through. I used the drive though because I’m pregnant and there is a state of emergency, stay at home order due to covid 19. I am taking extra precautions because of being pregnant. I assumed the drive through pharmacy would use the intercom system to speak with me. Instead the women working the window opened the sliding window without a mask on. Took me off guard and I was completely freaked out. I asked her if she should shut that and use the intercom system and she leaned forward and said. “Yea” I felt my blood boiling. You are in the medical field. You should know better than this. I explained I was pregnant and not ok with this and she told me “she liked the human interaction” (with a smirk). I have to say, I lost my cool. I couldn’t believe she has the nerve to act like that, let alone continuing talking to me with the window open. While holding my receipt and the meds and my card. We called the manager of the store to find out she is the pharmacist and she didn’t even have gloves, a mask or a name tag. They have the set up to use the window as a shield to protect their customers and themselves but choose not to use it and there isn’t a policy in place! Complete disregard for the public health at a place that is supposed to be trusted for health and wellness. Debbie, you could have shut the window as soon as you realized I was freaked out. Not happy with you or CVS. Thanks Lake Ozark CVS for caring about public health. Never going to a CVS again.

Very dirty and unprofessional. We stopped in at 9a in the morning Of Sept 25th to get flu vaccinations. 1st off, no staff in sight, walked back to the pharmacy and decided to use the bathroom. It obviously had not been cleaned in at least a day, paper products out of supply and trash on the floor. Decided to leave and on the way a delivery man, with a van parked near the entrance, walked in rolling supplies in an NO MASK AT ALL. REALLY, A MEDICAL PHARMACY AND THEY ARE ALLOWING DELIVERIES WITHOUT STAFF WEAR PPE!! We will not return and would recommend that no one go to this CVS unless management changes the way they operate this pharmacy.

The website says the pharmacy opens at 9 and they don't open till 10 on Sunday. My experience was fine they got my son's prescriptions ready in about 5 minutes they said it would take about 15. The man who was sitting next to me was also waiting for the pharmacy to open I heard him say that he used the automated line when it called him to renew his prescription somehow this did not get done they talk to him as if he was stupid they said its an interactive call he has to push button or something that I didn't understand and he said I know I push the button I entered my date of birth ?/??/1944 I do this every month he said I should not have to wait 20 minutes and started to walk away the lady said I don't understand why you're so upset and I really rude tone of voice and literally started a huge argument with him then followed him and continued to rude accuse him of being angry or yelling when it no point in time did he ever raised his voice. Ice always have wanted to visit a CVS but I'm not sure that I'll return.

I went in for a refill on an rx that was at another pharmacy. It was 1/2 the cost. The pharmacist was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was awesome. That was almost at closing time.
