Ya'll . STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING! If you have a pup or know someone with a pup that needs a good hair do these are your people. Chris & Holly are the best. My dog is always excited to be there and I cannot get over how gentle and sweet these people are. Chris & Holly love your doggo just as much as you do. I'm in SGF and I'm happy to make the trip to Ozark for my little floof to get this kind of TLC. I dare you to find anyone better.

We picked up our dog (2) from being groomed like usual, except this time was different. He was shaking very badly and seemed terrified or in pain. We figured he was given something to maybe calm him and it’d wear off, but it only got worse. Whatever you did to our dog paralyzed him and we lost him.. forever. We called to ask what you gave him or did and you failed to return those calls. Please, do not take your beloved animals to this “company”. Picture of our sweet Toby with my sweet boys 🖤

We love Chris and Holly's Place!! We have taken our sweet fur babies to them for years. We could not be happier. They are very kind and patient with our babies. They have groomed our sweet yorkies since there were little. I am also thankful that they do their best to keep their customers healthy, our dogs safe and make it convenient for us by picking our dogs up at our vehicles and bringing them out to us. If you want wonderful groomers for your beloved fur babies, I highly recommend you take them to Chris and Holly's Place!!❤️❤️

TERRIBLE AND TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE FOR OUR LOVED PET😢Chris has a very tough demeanor and shares he will do one thing and truly does the opposite! He won't let you enter his salon so I missed this by a long shot and sadly our 16 year old loved pet has suffered. Chris shares he will keep your pet one time and hours later you have to call and he then gives you another time- clearly holding your pets all day. This was my second and last time yesterday - I asked in advance for a smaller window for her to be able to go potty and less stress and he advised that was fine, agreed again when I dropped her off. I called an hour after agreed time and he was just bathing her and it was going to be 2 more hours. When I picked her up she was shaking and he shaved over a mole and advised a cyst burst, that was not what happened and no remorse.I had asked him not to clean her eyes that I do this- he did it anyway. She had a terrible night in pain and is still hurting today. My opinion of any groomer is one of respect and the hope is trust with a precious member of your family. My thinking with this profession you have a heart for animals and clearly our experience has been awful. I want to protect your loved pet from this type of trauma and treatment - read the reviews as unfortunately now I've read too late. Don't subject your loved pet to this salon!

They treat my babies like family, I have a miniature long haired dachshund and my rescue King Charles spaniel mix, who is scared of everything, and they are so kind and gentle. They look and smell wonderful after their visit! I will only use Chris and Holly and will continue to highly recommend them!! Thank you for the great service!

Very disappointed. I booked an appointment with Holly a month ago for my almost 5 year old golden retriever. I told her he'd never been groomed before, and she was very nice and explained everything they would do. When I dropped him off with Chris, I tried to explain that Ollie was a very anxious dog, to which he replied, "All dogs are anxious at a new place," and took him inside. If he would've let me finish, I would've told him that Ollie takes longer than any other golden I've known to trust someone (especially a stranger). Well, 1 hour and 20 minutes into Ollie's appointment I got a phone call from Chris in which he told me how terrible my dog was. He was very unprofessional, telling me all the things I've done wrong as a dog owner, while also telling me that my dog was gonna bite someone some day. This dog that I've known for 5 years and he's known for 1 hour would NEVER hurt a fly. I would have completely understood if Ollie was having a rough time and Chris didn't want to deal with it, but it was over the line to tell me that I should "watch out" for my golden retriever. That is why I am giving them a 1 star review. I picked him up early, and Chris was nice enough to not charge me. But we got him home and Ollie was afraid to let me brush him out (which he normally loves getting brushed). Ollie also left a trail of blood around my house from his front nails being cut too far. My dog and I are both traumatized, and I've definitely learned my lesson with local groomers.

We would highly recommend that you skip this place as potential groomers. They quoted a price $10 higher than their price list. Chris went so far as to say there was no such price list available and calling me a liar. So when I took a snap shot of the price list to send him, we lost connection with the photo being sent. When I called back to tell him I sent the photo of the price list, he was aggressive in tone and off putting. I told him he needed to remove the list from online that he would lose customers with misunderstandings and his aggressiveness in tone. He hung up on me.We had a long term relationship with Best Friends groomer, Shirley, before our cat Sheba died. Shirley retired unfortunately. So we were checking into new places for our new dog we got Saturday. We would not want to build a relationship with this place after our encounter with them. You may want to take note that several reviewers had the same experience as I did. I should have read the reviews beforehand.

My mother took our family dog to visit this “establishment.” He is literally the sweetest, used to grooming, and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He loves every new person he’s ever encountered. He WAS, mind you, WAS a 2 year old dog that barely came up to your knee standing. He had no medical issues and was playing and running around my 8 year old lab mix. After having picked him up from from Chris and Holly’s, he seemed very scared and wasn’t the same. He was seeming to ever a lot of pain and couldn’t even get up or down one stair which he was just running up and down just that previous morning. We took him for a potty break and his back legs gave out on him and no longer had functionality in his rear. After much panicking because this was incredibly out of character for him, we took him to the vet. The vet let us know that his back looked like it was hurt and that’s what paralyzed him. Yes, I said paralyzed him. This morning we lost our sweet, two year old, playful baby. Your service has left us without apart of our family.

My appointment was unexpectedly canceled 4 hours before scheduled due to the groomers not grooming cats anymore. I was very upset and worried that I wouldn't be able to get my cat shaved as he absolutely loves having no hair. We get the "lion" cut done. I was very happy and grateful that Chris and Holly were able to take care of my cat the same day. I took a star off because the cut is okay. But, 4 stars because of great customer service and affordable pricing.

Chris and Holly have groomed our springer spaniel her entire life (going on 10 years now) and it’s one of her favorite trips to make. They handle her with love and care and she always looks, smells, and feels fabulous after her time with them. Even overweight at over 90 pounds (she has since lost back to a healthy weight) they accepted her with open arms and hearts. While dropping her off and picking her up I have seen various sizes and types of animals in different stages of being groomed and every single time they all seemed happy and cared for. They have accommodated working us in on short notice when someone else canceled and they have never canceled an appointment on us. Keep up the great work Chris & Holly!

They do a great job of keeping my animals calm, and communicating to me when everyone is ready. I’m very glad to have found Chris and Hollys. The first time I had seen them my medium long haired cat was severely matted. They took great care of him and I know he felt much better. I just took him to them again cause he had some more mats. They gave me recommendations on what comb I can use on him in the future and said they could comb him out for me once his hair has grown back. They are so sweet to my kitty and put him on the other side of the room from the dogs which I appreciate and have worked with me as I learn how to care for my long haired kitty. I like their prices and service and will return. Thanks you guys!

Loved them! Unfortunately I moved away; however, when I did take my dogs here I only had wonderful experiences. One dog I have is a very moody Shih Tzu that HATES being groom, especially his face. Every time he looked wonderful after taking them to Chris and Holly. Never once did he have a nip on his body, and every time he would be in such a good mood. His grooming looked great! They also did such a great job handling our English bulldog and his nail clipping needs. Great prices! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I keep on meaning to leave a review, these people are always busy! Which is a good problem to have in my opinion. Growing up with dogs my whole life I have seen many places my parents went to, to try and find the "right" person to do our dogs. They never found one, and it was always a bad experience and the dogs were always skittish after words for different reasons, so they ended up just doing it themselves. So naturally I was hesitant because I didn't like seeing that growing up I care very much about our furry family as I'm sure everyone else does that gets them groomed and pampered. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Our Rusty always looks great when we pick him up their prices are great for all they do. He is a mess after 3 months because of his breed and we are always outside with him doing things so we aren't cooped up in the house all the time. I am very happy we found this place. Thank you.

Our babies love Chris and Holly. We have a Great Pyranees Commondor mix, Sassy. She's an outside dog mostly and can get so dirty and matted. It was embarrassing taking her in looking like that the first few times. Chris and Holly made us feel right at home. Chris does an amazing job on her. She loves going to get groomed and looks so pretty ❤

This place obviously does not like to cater to larger dogs (77 lbs - 53 & 43 lbs). I tried to get a price for my 3 and he said "about" - what is about? He doesn't go off the prices listed on his website when I inquired. I stated I didn't want him to say about and then charge me $50 more. I wanted to bring all 3 of mine in at one time - but he wanted to do what was more convenient for him not for his potential customer. Hours of 8-5 he said were workable for them and he thru in that they were open on Saturdays. He had no idea what my work schedule was and could have cared less. I repeatedly asked do I leave them there all day or what do I do and he never answered. He then asked what age my dogs were - what does that have to do with giving them a bath. After I answered him he "um and oh and um and oh" so I'm not sure what that was. He also asked if they had been groomed before and he said - no I mean professionally groomed. I stated yes and I could hear him "hmf" through the phone. After trying to work with him for about 15 minutes I finally gave up as he acted like he didn't want to bath my dogs. I informed him I was sorry it was a waste of time and that I gathered he didn't want to take my dogs given his evasiveness. I wouldn't go there now no matter what - it was a waste of my time to even call - who knows what their grooming is even like! Very unprofessional in my first and last with them. He must have forgotten he is in the service business - not the "customers cater to him" business.
