Overall, nice place. I would love to see all items the lowest price leading in town. Some items can find cheaper elsewhere. Would love to see a bigger selection of food.

Glad to see Aldi's here now. They have good deals and the store is nicely stocked. To the male worker on the first register near the wall, when someone at self checkout hits the "help" button, it probably means something? Don't just shut it off and ignore. Maybe you need to be retrained.

Aldi is an excellent grocery shopping option here at the Lake. We often do much of our large scale shopping here every few weeks, and then pick up a few other items at other stores in the interim. The prices are excellent, often remarkably so. They have some fairly unique items. Their produce is usually very high quality. Of course many brand name items aren't available, but usually the Aldi brand is very good. A few things are a bit odd, for instance you need to put a quarter in your shopping cart to unlock it from the other carts, so that you are more likely to return it yourself (rather than leaving it in the parking lot, so they don't have to pay someone to retrieve it ). You need to bring your own bags. There is usually only one (and sometimes no) cashier, so self checkout is encouraged. That being said, the check out clerks are actually highly skilled and super fast. They put your stuff loose into an empty cart, very efficiently, and then you take it to a counter where you bag it yourself. Or you bag as you go if you use the self checkout. It is also a fairly small store, and pretty packed with people, at least the times that I have been there. It is definitely worth a try if you haven't been to an Aldi before.

Vegetables such as onions and potatoes spoil quickly. Bathroom sinks are filthy & less than 2 years old. Only 1 checkout person for the entire front of the store. All the meats come in pre-packaged. Since COVID, prices have skyrocketed!SKskyrocketed

This is a great Aldi's. They have great produce and meat. I noticed the beef isn't any cheaper, or even as cheap as Walmart, but everything else being about three quarters the price makes up for it.

Produce isn't that great.. they're normally out of everything. Don't bother placing a pickup order.. I think the shopper "refunds" so they don't actual have to shop the order. Their app is useless.

Very clean new store. Only gave it 4 stars due to you have to watch what you buy. Some things are cheaper at other places. Mainly can goods and name brand item. What you can't beat is the produce!!! Holy cow. So much better and cheaper than everywhere else. It is also nice they have self checkout when you only have a thing or two. Don't forget to stop by the clearance section. You never know what cool things you will find.

I love all the fresh produce, the selection of organic foods, foods without or healthier preservatives and the inexpensive prices. I shop exclusively at Aldi's now and have watched my food budget go down substantially.

Aldi's used to be the place to go to save money on items that not all may be name brands. Name brands availability is the same, but Aldi prices were insane and did not save me a single penny.

Aldis is Trader Joe's little brother. We have totally given up shopping at Dierbergs and Hyvees unless it's something specific.We were there yesterday, and a dozen eggs were under $3. They have an AMAZING produce section with crazy prices. As soon as you come in, there's a small section to your right that is a 'clearance' area.If you see something you like, grab it because it won't be there next time. Also, keep your eyes open for the red tags. Those are things that have been marked down from their already low prices.They seem to have everything the big boys do, and yet it's a small store...weird. Sign up for their text messages and follow them on FB so you can see what's coming up for the month.Outstanding prices, high quality items, and clean restrooms. What else do you need? Btw, bring your own bags, or you can buy them there for pennies. A++++

ALDI has consistently good quality at lowest prices. House brands are comparable to name brands. Not a big fan of the self-checkout, but there are still fast friendly checkers available to assist you.
