Overall it was a decent resort. The garden area was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! Had a few kinks with our key working when we first got there, and the super nice maintenance guy came up and was super friendly and helpful. Everyone who worked at the lodge was super nice! The rooms were pretty decent. I loved the views. It was a great experience. My only complaint would actually be I couldn't get my thermostat down past a certain degree and slept a little warm. And I heard others complain about it as well. I hope that is fixed in the future. I knocked a star down for that reason and for my ice bucket being dirty.

Used the ramp that day only, and for 2 or 3 tournaments going out at the same time, it was surprisingly fast!!! We usually don't have issues when it is just bass boats putting in and taking out! $5.00 for truck and trailor parking for the day.There is a store at the docks for fast convenience and fuel pumps for watercraft.Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of picnic areas around the cove and also a roped off swimming area.Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I know it is handicapped accessible.

My family and I swam at the beach here and had a really nice day. I suggest wearing water shoes though. The sand is more like crushed rock pieces. My 3 year old was still able to make sand castles with it. The swimming area is roped off, so you don't have to worry about boats.

Very clean and CLEAR. Grandkids had an amazing Time AS WELL as I.. H2O temp was perfect!.. Hell I even saw a GREAT SANITATION worker there DOING AN AMAZING JOB by keeping EVERYTHING Spotless!¡ GREAT experience all the way around..I recommend this BUEATIFUL LOCATION to al. FAMILY and GOOD TIMERS.

Fantastic place to swim and relax. It is free for the public to use, and the public take advantage of the swimming area on the weekends. It is normally packed! During the week however it is much more relaxed atmosphere with far fewer swimmers. It is in a no wake cove so there are no waves coming in from big and wake board boats. It is also a nice relaxing place to have a picnic.

The place is awesome to have fun during the summer. Safe for play with water in assigned area.It would be better to go for a boat ride first and be here. Make sure you get your boat before 2.00 pm.

Wonderful little Sandy Beach. My girls had a blast. The "sand" is not terribly fine, but it was enough for us. Really appreciated that the restrooms even had hot showers! Lots of parking.

Really nice beach area with restrooms, outside rinse area for feet and a small store nearby by the boat docks. The swimming area is rope off in the water so boats can't come close. There was a nice shaded picnic area nearby as well.

They don't rent kayaks here. I didn't see bass boats, either. Staff is great. Boats are very nice and clean. Life vests were brand new! I'm used to those being disgusting. 😂 We rented the Harris 150hp pontoon. Very good prices compared to private companies in the area. Also had availability when all others were sold out.Store has gallons of water, some snacks, drinks, supplies and souvenirs. Watch the video they send you, or they'll make you watch it there. 😁

Easy to get to. Clean facilities. The boat launch ramp has 4 lanes, and there is a ton of parking. There is a small store, as well as a marina.

Fun in the sun! Clean place for shallow water access. There's also a little playground for small kids, picnic tables and grills.

This place a hidden gem. Park is beautiful, spectacular lake view, tons of walking and hiking trails, picnic areas..We went there mid September, it was very quite, relaxing atmosphere, especially the Grand Glaize Beach is beautiful..

Clean, Family Friendly, close restroom/changing area, sandy beach that extends into the water so your not swimming in a mudhole, lots of varying depths of water for any stage of swimmer, and gorgeous wooded and lake views!

The marina was clean and had easy access for boats to get in and out of water. It was labor day and the marina closed at 6pm. Thought that was weird. Beyond that it was pretty nice.

My uncle and I rented a pontoon boat for a half a day.The whole process was absolutely wonderful!He has a beautiful home at the Lake of the Ozarks, lakefront, but had not been on the lake for 10 years, in a boat.The staff was friendly and professional.The boat was super clean and in tip top condition.I would highly recommend renting a boat here!!!!! We had a blast!!!He had so much fun, whenever any of our family goes to visit, he will be renting a boat again! 😁

This was an amazing launch. We used our RV to launch our boat and it couldn’t have gone more perfect!!!! We then kept our boat here for 4 days under a covered area, which was so nice!!!! We passed many marinas and I didn’t see one as nice as this. Everyone was very friendly. The gift shop was a nice touch! I got a koozie and some magnets!

Compared to the other 'public beach' this one rocks! Nice scenery, plenty of places to have a picnic lunch with a good view. Not over crowded when we went. The beach portion was 100 times better than the other public beach - I think there is a public beach #1 and #2 from everything I have seen so visit this one before going to the other.Park was clean, roomy and overall well worth a visit.

Very nice park. Well kept with clean bathrooms. I always like a state park picnic area with grills. We'll be taking advantage of that next weekend. And, while it says more about the visitors that the park, everyone was practicing the best social distancing they could, considering the situation. All in all this is a very nice park for the family.

One of my favorite State Parks. Great Beach area. Awesome playground equipment. Plenty of shaded picnic/grill areas & incredible clean restroom facilities...gast stations wished they have...lol. Deer so "used to humans" you could almost hand fed them (matter-of-speech;-)! And an incredible amount of boat trailer parking, and last, but, not least...great hiking trail:)

A charming, friendly marina with a nice store filled with snacks, drinks, scooped ice cream, souvenirs, and the usual array of fishing and boating supplies.The woman in charge this morning took the time to give me some helpful local information, as I was new to the area and was launching a kayak.It sounds like the other state park marina might be more suited to kayakers, but I haven't been there yet, and this one worked fine for my needs today.Did have to pay a $5 launch fee. I assume locals know all sorts of good spots for launching free, but this was fairly convenient and available, so I'm not complaining
