These people were wonderful! The check in process was fast and efficient. The price point was reasonable. The boats are well maintained, clean and reliable.As we were returning the boat at 630 pm we realized we left our car keys at a local boat dock. The guys at Dirty Ducks didn't hesitate to offer us a ride to go pick up the keys and bring us back.Customer service was GREAT

Repeat customers - We are a family of six, and have enjoyed renting boats from this business several times. Twice, we have made reservations weeks in advance, and being located in Missouri there is no guarentee the weather is going to cooperate. We reserved a full day boat rental, but the morning was ruined by thunderstorms. A quick phone call, and it was clear Dirty Duck's were willing to reschedule, adjust or cancel the reservation without a problem. We were able to change our reservation for only a 1/2 day, and still enjoy the water. Thanks to the folks at Dirty Duck's! We had a great time!!!

The staff here was phenomenal, the gentleman with the curly hair was so patient and kind with us when teaching us about the boat. The whole family really enjoyed the time on the boat and the prices were by far the cheapest around..

Nice folks, boat broke, did have some fun but....Please read whole review! My son rented a pontoon for our 3 generation Family outing on Sunday of 2017 Memorial Day weekend. Got there around 1230 and we were supposed to have fun til 7pm....instead we had to call for a tow back within the first 15 minutes out! For some reason motor started beeping and was overheating. Rescue arrived within 30 minutes to tow us back. It was an older boat, but clean and seemed in good condition. People were nice, dock guy was super friendly. We got a refund, but were told no other boats were available. It was sad, and really disappointing; first boat trip for my grandkids! Offered us a boat on Monday, but we are going home so couldn't do that. One of the guys in the office area said to call them again next time we come to the lake, mention the issue and they will give us an awesome deal. I hope that is true. Will post an updated review and rating after next visit!

These guys were great to deal with. The boat we originally wanted was being worked on, so they gave us an upgrade at no additional charge. The gal at the counter and the young girls that gave us the introduction were very knowledgeable and very polite. The equipment all seemed to be in good condition. It was a great cruise around the lake. Highly recommend!

Rented a pontoon boat for the day and was very happy with the rental. The price was affordable and we got a tube to pull the kiddos around in. Had a great time fishing, tubing and just checking out the sites. Dirty Duck will be my go to for boat rentals whenever I am in Osage Beach.

We rented a pontoon boat for the whole day and had a blast. I love how close this boat rental place is to the state park which was a great area to tube and swim. Having the boat for the whole day allowed us to enjoy the state park area and head north to restaurants and entertainment as well. Definitely recommend taking a boat out for the day.

We had a FANTASTIC experience with Dirty Duck!! The pontoon we rented was high quality and service was great with good prices. We also rented a captain for the day, Captain Patty. I simply cannot recommend Patty enough. She was incredible! A very safe driver, made sure we had a fun time, and even took photos and videos for us! She was worth every penny, so if you're thinking about renting a captain look no further than Captain Patty!!

The girl with the curly hair and the lip piercing was the worst employee i’ve ever had to encounter. she did absolutely nothing and was extremely rude, i sincerely hope for the sake of your business that you get rid of her because i will be telling everyone i know what a horrible customer service you have. i’m not the only one who has dealt with this either, my sister was down at the lake and the was treated the same by that girl.

A more appropriate response would have been to tell me that each person of your staff...especially those escorting 1st timers to rented boats... has taken, or is going to be required to take, the same training you require of the people renting from Dirty Duck.. MO State Boating course for those born after 1984. This isn't like serving appetizers...training should be mandatory to explain the required elements and where they are located on the vessel. Water safety is serious. Good to know the timing of my review was more important than the steps being taking to get training inline with staff roles on the dock.. might want to implement a check list.Coming from a recent boat rental in Ft Myers.. and having owned a boat for 20yrs...Dirty Duck had easy check in. Clean boat. But the staff, regardless of age, needs to be educated in what every boat needs to have...or tickets can be issued to the Operator.. #1 Life Jackets - She rolled her eyes and said she was 98% sure we had 12 jackets. Rule #1 Life Jackets...Im sorry but jackets need to be counted for # of people on the boat before it leaves the dock. No flag provided. Wistle n throwing device were visible. While I should have looked, but didn't, a fire extinguisher and 1st aid kit should have been identified. Instead, the conversation included take picture of the prop and don't use the trim. BE SURE TO TAKE a picture of the prop. It was horribly dinged and dented. Pretty sure if i hadn't taken a picture, I would've been asked to replace it.

Rented twice already with 1 more rental day to go! (2 pontoon days and 1 wave runner day) Good prices and happy staff. Prices are all on website. Gas is more on the lake that is normal. Reservations were easy to make. Knowledgeable about busy or non busy days and hours. Will make reviews on each rental.

Worst rental experience in 10 years at Lake of the Ozarks. Do not rent from here. We rented a jet ski for 4 hours. Upon arriving they said we could only rent it for 2 hours due to weather but that we could have our other 2 hours at a time of our choosing and that our 500 dollar deposit We let them know at that time we would just do the other 2 hours the following day and that it was no problem. Then upon booking it for the next day they told us we had to pay another 500 dollar deposit!!!! After we were told it was no problem. They absolutely lied to us and tried ripping us off and ruining the kids day of jet ski. TERRIBLE PLACE.I'm response to Dirty Ducks reply below........Had nothing to do with damage. We rented for 4 hours from you. Then we were told we had to return it in 2 hours due to weather. We ask if we could get our other 2 hours the following day due to the fact we were leaving . At which time you told us that we would have to pay another 500 dollar deposit. ( When you refund the 500 it takes 2 business days to reach a person's bank account). So yes, we would of had to give you 1000 dollars in 1 day for our 4 hour rental. THERE WAS NO CONFUSION. BUT ITS NICE TO SEE THAT YOU BLAME YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SHADY ACTIONS LIKE WE SAID, WE HOPE EVERYONE AVOIDS YOUR BUSINESS SO THEIR CHILDREN DONT EXPERIENCE THE DISAPPOINTMENT THAT OUR CHILDREN HAD TO EXPERIENCE!

Unfortunately our boat was in poor condition with the speakers hanging out and not working. Once we removed the cobwebs from the boat, we spent an hour with one of the mechanics trying to get it fixed to no avail. The seats were torn and the boat was a sorry sight. Even more unfortunate was Marty's response to our dilemma which was neither polite nor thoughtful. I am thankful for other boat operators being flexible and letting us book through them the next day with a seamless transition.

The crew at dirty duck were fantastic. Everything was clean and easy. Great over all experience. What really set them apart was a couple special touches. First our kids were wanting to feed the fish at the dock and the staff gave them some food and it made their day. Second, our youngest daughter was terrified about getting on the boat and was sobbing as we checked in, my wife took our daughter to the bathroom and when they came out of the restroom, there was a rubber duck on her life vest with a note saying “hi, I’m protective Paul, and I will take care of you on your boat ride” that silly little duck made all the difference and form then on she was great with getting on the boat.Thanks for taking care of us!

We rented a pontoon boat from Dirty Duck Boat Rentals and had an amazing time! When I booked the boat I asked that they help provide us with a driver. They provided us with an amazing driver (extra cost) and the kids and adults had a great time! We went tubing, sight seeing, and swam. People were very friendly and it was a speedy process to get in/off the boat! We had 5 kids and 5 adults and felt very safe while enjoying the lake.

Had a great boating experience with the family. I would definitely recommend dirty duck for a budget friendly boating experience. The place is called "dirty duck", so that should help set some expectations. We rented a 90hp tritoon, which was 19 years old, had some tears in the seats, a few wear spots on the carpets, but overall the boat functioned fine. The life jackets are older and worn, but they work. The radio worked, but we couldn't get hooked up to the bluetooth. We rented in the offseason in late September and we got a full day tritoon for about half the price many other places were quoting. We didn't want or need a brand new boat, and wanted to spend as little money as possible and dirty duck fulfilled those requirements.Some other helpful information that I couldn't find on their website:90hp tritoon maxed out at 14 mph on the water with 4 adults and 6 children. This was fine for us, we weren't passing anyone on the lake, but I also didn't feel like we were going to get run over. Not sure how it would do pulling a tube, you might need a little more juice.The anchor is only 25' long which means you have to be in fairly shallow water (less than 10') to actually drop the anchor and have it hold.The area you are required to stay in is somewhere between mile marker 10 and 26, and then a few miles south of the rental place. This may change, but I couldn't find it on the website. They gave us a map with the limits of where you could go when we go there.You get a discount on the rental if you pay in cash. You then just need a credit card for the damage deposit.Overall I felt like they met my expectations based on the budget we had.

First time with DD was great. Very professional. Very helpful and patient with us. 22 ft pontoon was good size for our group of 4-6.Plan on about $299 total for 4 hours.Plan on 7% charge for using credit card, that’s okay!We will GLADLY BE BACK!

We recently came to Lake of the Ozarks for vacation from Wichita, KS. It was me and 9 of my friends. We had heard how much fun the lake was and wanted to enjoy ourselves without worrying about driving a boat while drinking. We rented a pontoon boat from The Dirty Duck and really had a blast. We also rented a boat driver so we didn’t have to worry about anything. She was great, so much fun! She took us site seeing and to a cliff to jump off of. At her suggestion, we rented a lily pad to hang out on and it was a blast. Later in the day, we went on the main channel and thank God she knew what she was doing as the big waves were crazy and boat traffic was wild. It was so cool but can see why they say it can be dangerous. Our overall experience with Dirty Duck was great. We plan to come back and would love to have the same captain. She had all the bases covered. Dirty Duck made our trip to the lake a huge success and we will be back!

“The Joker”Place was fine, Staff was friendly when we took off, and they let us keep the boat overnight which some places won’t. Make sure to do a thorough pre check. Maybe take a video of your rental before departing. I was asked to take a picture of the prop before leaving, the girl barely got it out of the water, looked at my picture and said “good enough”. Upon return, the dock boy tried claiming new damage to the prop and openly mocked my “picture taking abilities”. It was likely the oldest boat in their fleet, and was pretty rough appearance wise. Not a big deal, I get it, it’s an aged rental, and was as advertised. However, the dock boy seemed to think we took off in a 2022 Malibu and brought back the 1994 joker. He then radioed up to ask for their description of the prop, which matched the appearance to a T. He then still wanted to argue that the damage was new, but in the end the guy up stairs “let it slide”.

We had a great overall experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and were very patient with us. The boat was clean and in good condition. The area surrounding and in close proximity to the rental area is majority State Park land, making the water calmer and great for water sports, swimming, and just cruising around.I highly recommend it for anyone!

I wouldn't recommend this place. Poor customer service. Boat trim was deactivated on Lake of the Ozarks. Who does that. Radio sucked. Mentioned the trim when we came back early drop off because we were just not enjoying it and was toldthey deactivate them intentionally. Even the manual was shut off. I've never rented a boat with that restriction and never will again. Counter check in was rude. Check out was rude.

Very great service and reasonable prices. My family and I decided to rent a Pontoon all day on memorial weekend, probably a bad idea but we wanted to try it. Needless to say four hours in the water was crazy and couldn't steer the boat we called to see if we could just get a refund for the other four hours they were very helpful and understanding, they offered to give refund if they could rent it out for the rest of the day or if they couldn't give us a rain check for a calmer weekend. Very great customer service!! Would definitely recommend.

Very disappointed in this experience we had there this weekend. After paying $600 for the boat rental, we were only out for ten mins and the boat messed up. We had to turn around and bring the boat back, per Dirty Ducks, they expected us to pay for that gas, as well, when they made the request to bring the "messed up" boat back for them. After going back and forth with the unprofessional and unfriendly staff in the office and the owner who was on the phone, we decided to get a Full Refund instead of getting another boat. Which I still haven't been credited back for! Wouldn't recommend. Hopefully they get some management that can train the staff on Customer Service.There were a couple of cute younger girls working by the slips that were nice and helped us remove all our belongings since we had three small children with us!! Hate to complain over them. That's the only nice experience we had there.
