Newer hardware stores in town with similar stock and prices from what i can tell. If one doesn't have what I'm after I check the other. It's actually nice having 2 in town to try and keep a little competition on the pricing. Nothing bad from any of my visits.

Bought some plants for my garden. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and had everything I needed. Even held back a couple of plants I wanted that were in short supply so I could pick up after work.

Recently my garbage disposal went out. I checked prices from all the big box stores. I stopped by Nerds to see what they have. I’m glad I did. Not only did they have the highest quality (insinkerator) disposal. It was the same price as the big box store that’s 15 miles away. Thanks Nerds.

Nerd's has always provided me with excellent customer service. They are always friendly and very helpful. Last time I got paint and supplies, they even helped me carry it out to the car.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Nice store. From camping, tools and hardware nice range of quality products. Some were a bit pricey but most were reasonable and some were even better than what you might find elsewhere...just have to know what your looking for and what an objects value is at other stores.

Love having Nerd's in town! Everyone who works here is very helpful and polite. Definitely visit during chick days and look at all the fuzzy cuteness. They have a good selection of plants in the spring and summer and usually always have straw bales.

Like any local hardware store, it's small, the people knowledgeable, and the store clean. The place carries most of what you need and some things you won't find in the big box stores like local plants, more local flavor and items. It also doesn't carry everything but if you need some of those particular items then ask, they might be able to get it and less and better quality.

We went in for a Hot water heater. The employees were awesome. They not only loaded it for us but found some plastic to cover it up from the rain. They were soaking wet when they were done, but never acted inconvenienced. Great customer service
