Normally, I buy calendars here every year..I noticed a sign that said BOGO..that had maybe just expired..after trying to verify..the sales associate knew nothing about it and promptly rudely threw the promotional material away with no explanation..the cost of the calendar was 24.99..I walked out went to Walmart and payed 14.50...I will never go back after being treated rather rudely

Horrible customer service. If you are in line before close and they don’t get to you even after you waited and was there before close they will close the blinds on you and not check you out. This the only Walgreens that can’t ever seem to fill my scripts with out some excuse for delay or won’t fill it all completely. Every single time there is an issue getting my medicine. It’s either out of stock or there is another excuse why they can’t fill it and I don’t have that problem with any other Walgreens. This location is horrible when it comes to getting your medication.

Was told that I could bring a prescription in to get it properly disposed of then when I got down there to take the prescription in then was told that they dont do it then why have the stuff to dispose the medicine at the pharmacy

Walgreens in Oak Grove is less congested, less foot traffic (even at peak times), & the Pharmacy (drive thru & inside pickups) is FAR less time/lines. The employees & managers are VERY NICE (by other Walgreens, in BS, GV, Independence, LS) & helpful. Also, this Walgreens is SUPER clean! 😁👍✌️

5 stars for the pharmacy! Super helpful staff. Helped fill an emergency chemo drug for my doggo. Staff answered the phone promptly; they were very polite and informative about whether they had the drug in stock. When I arrived, the staff had on their cute holiday elf costumes and were able to fill my order in 30 min. I’m surprised by the reviews for this location as they seem to be leagues better than other Walgreens and CVS locations I have experienced in the Kansas City area. Thank you for being awesome Walgreens of Oak Grove!

The quality and reliability of the pharmacy is the worst I have seen. I have been burned far too many times, forcing me to drive to Blue Springs. Maybe it's my fault, expecting a written script to be filled within a 6 hour period, or maybe it's too much to ask to be told it won't be filled until the next day, during drop off. Regardless, Walgreens has lost me, and my family as valuable customers.

I experienced a horrific accident involving a saw. The ladies helped me with getting the correct bandages so they wouldn't stick to my wounds. Thank you for caring and your hard work behind the counter!!

Least professional Walgreens I've ever been to, hands down.I admit the COVID crisis has been rough, but the manager outright lying to us was pretty messed up. We went in after an ER visit put my partner on bedrest to fill her scripts, but the pharmacy treated us like an inconvenience, lied to us about hours of operation and how long it would take to fill our order, and when we came back to get them after a short wait, they had closed completely despite telling us they'd be open for another hour.On top of this, the manager kept pulling her mask down and sneezing on whatever had her attention behind the desk the entire time she pretended to care that the pharmacy wouldn't even give us our prescriptions to take elsewhere.For a pharmacy, I'd stay far away.

Absolutely horrible at filling prescriptions. It has taken almost a week to fill my prescription. It was supposed to be on auto fill per request but was never done, then told it would be auto refilled in 9 days I call to find out it never was, then told they would call dr for refill. Then told the dr denied refill. Called dr they said they sent it in. They then changed there story and said they never received the script.

Fix the pricing.I went in for a specific ice cream. They didn't have it, Not their fault. They had them on Sale 2 for 5 or 2.79 each. When I got to the checkout, I was asked if I was a rewards member, I said "no" and my price was 3.29 plus tax??I fully get the 2 for X pricing, but why are there so many different prices??If you are a reward member it is this price, If you are a man it is this price, if you are this race it is this price, if you are this tall it is this price.Do better Walgreens!

I had the worst day ever! We went in for a simple flu shot and was told right away it would be a 45 minute wait. There was no one there. No explanation just a hateful attitude from the employee we dealt with. She really loved her job! We chose not to wait and she put the information through to Humana anyway. This kept us from going elsewhere. While at Hy-Vee in Blue Springs there was only a 20-25 minute wait. We chose to get our flu shot there instead and was told Walgreens in Oak Grove screwed that up because they had already put the information through Humana. I will never do business with Walgreens in Oak Grove again. They are unprofessional and the manager could care less.

Don't come here for Covid vaccines!!Had an appointment at 10:30 am for 2nd Covid vaccine. Arrived 10 minutes early and asked about what line to stand in. Was told to stand in the prescription line, 6 people ahead of us. When we got to the counter we were told we needed to stand in the line we had just came from. Took an hour and 10 minutes to get the second shot. What's the point of making an appointment if it takes an hour and 10 minutes. Not happy!

This is the Worst pharmacy ever. Theyre often out of a prescription. Called my husband’s phone repeatedly for a prescription ready. He arrives it wasnt. Said come back in 30 min. I go back in and two people in line in front of me. The lady in front pulls forward gets her prescription I pull forward they close the window. It was right before or at 8.I was told before same thing. Not ready come back. I did leaving work to do so. Then they say they dont have it and have no reason why they told me it would be ready and come back.Blue springs can handle 3-4 line of people and Have the medicine there.I wont use OG ever again. Would rather drive than deal with their laziness.

The store is OK, but the Pharmacy is a disaster. Takes 2-4 hours to fill a prescription most times. I went in Sat AM before work around 10:45AM, had to wait 15 minutes as 4 people in the Pharmacy were searching for a lost RX. After waiting I was told my RX was not ready and had to go to work or be late. I've been to other Walgreens in NM & WI and their Pharmacy depts. were great; fast and friendly. Here they don't seem to quite know what they are doing most of the time. I get my RX's @ CVS in Blue Springs and they are good, but my wife has to get her RX's here

The manager at this pharmacy has now messed up my prescription for the third consecutive month. She has no idea how to fill a prescription and has actually deleted my prescriptions. I would recommend choosing a pharmacy that was not so busy they cannot train staff properly.

This location is a life saver! During a crazy pandemic they went out of their way to help a trucker who has Covid-19. I needed prescriptions but I wasn't allowed to go in public places. They had me put my debit card on my steps and they came out and got it, ran it for my scripts then brought it and my meds back out to my truck and places them on the steps. They also did all this by staying after they were already closed for the day just to help me out. Thank you for going above and beyond to help a trucker out!

I have gone there and picked up items listed as "special" with a discounted price and go to the checkout to be given a lame excuse why they "special" price is no good for me. This has happened several times through the years. Walgreens was cited on this practice and it was put on the local news of what they were doing too. I thought it had ended finally but I stopped in to see if they had an item for my bathroom, they did and it was on special, about $50 which seemed a bit high but it was offered at half price. At check out they said that was only for the second item purchased, (the tag said nothing about a 2nd purchase item) but even worse, they charged twice what the shelf price stated. I handed it back to them. Their pharmacy was requested to give me a sample drug, by my doctor, free from the manufacturer..... they argued that they couldn't give it to me since I'm on Medicare and Medicare won't pay for it.... what part of free sample don't they understand, Medicare isn't even involved.... I'll never darken their doors again..... I went next door to Walmart and they took care of the Rx with no problem, plus they told me that this wasn't uncommon at all with Walgreens and their customers give up and bring their Rx over to Walmart to get them filled... Stars?? "0" isn't possible here??

So, we are truckers and were passing through, it was kinda late but figured we could do some light shopping. No problem there, found some items on sale and what not. Staff isn't too friendly, very quiet and just seemed like she didn't want to be there or help. We went to checkout and no one was in sight, even called out with no reply or anything. Doors were locked and we were the only people there. Staff finally comes and rings us up, not saying a word. No one even said they were closing so we didn't know...we know next time if we are around though...

The helpful staff found sublingual B-12 liquid. I had no idea that Walgreens stepped up their supplements game to include droppers, so I'm impressed. Plus it's a Walgreens near a truckstop, which means saving about 75 percent on first aid, pain relievers, body wash, and many other things on which the truck stops price gouge.

Horrible service in pharmacy. Got a call the day before. Show up to pick up medicine and it's not ready. I leave and call back, they confirmed it was ready. Show back up at the store and they said they couldn't find it now. Have to wait another hour. Get another call saying it's ready. Show back up to only be greeted by piss poor customer service.

Was up there for over an hour editing photos to print out when the computer froze and all my photos were lost. This isn't the first time it's happened either. Employee said it happens all the time. So they are aware of the issue, yet haven't done anything to solve it.

Laughable experience. Waited on hold for 30 minutes to be told to call another Walgreens to fill a prescription. That Walgreens then had to call the oak grove one back twice because someone failed to do their job multiple times. They ended up never answering the second call.

They can never fill my prescriptions right. Was supposed to have 30 pills in the contsiner. Only got 18. Now short medicine and habe to wait to get more medicine. They did the same thing with two other prescriptions. Going to transfer to a different pharmacy.

Several times I have dropped off an rx only to return later in the day to find they are out if stock. They don't call prior to pickup to notify of this and they refused to transfer to WalMart in town requiring me to drive two towns over.
