I called to see if I had a prescription ready. I was hung up on because the guy kept talking over me and said he couldn’t hear me. Called right back the lady that answered said WILL is who hung up on me. I thought I would leave a review while I’m sitting drive thru for 25 min.Edit: since I get to stand in line for 15 min to check out I’ll leave a review. There is no one working here!Edit 4-5-2024.Got a text my prescriptions are ready. Got here there are only some. He said well that automated system doesn’t work right. Oh my time isn’t valuable I have nothing better to do than drive back and forth. This place somehow gets worse and worse. They deserve to be driven out of business. After complaining they said it will be Monday. Then Sunday. Then later today. Now it’s all of the suffer ready while I’m here writing another review about this garbage company. It amazes me how poor this business is ran with zero concern. The employees are obviously coached it with a list of excuses as they try to do business with a skeleton crew and will tell the customer anything just to get their money or out of the window.

Nice friendly employees prices are a little steep though. But still a nice place to go if you're in need of large selections of medical supplies, small electronic accessories, or photo processing or when they have there candy sales going on! Then it becomes a Chocolate Heaven.

Go anywhere else. The pharmacy is the worst I’ve been to in my entire life. The techs are rude and have no idea what they are doing, the drive thru takes hours, they won’t have your medications and then when they do come in they will forget to call you. I'm genuinely excited for this company as a whole to collapse under the pressure of the economy and better alternative online pharmacies.

Called to see when prescription would be ready. They told me 8 pm, I asked how late they were open and they told me 11 pm. I drive up there at 8pm and they've been closed since 7pm. Absolutely worthless, this is just on scenario in a very long line of issues with this place.

I recently had a distressing experience at the Walgreens pharmacy that I feel compelled to share. I expected understanding and helpfulness when seeking assistance especially when it involves my prescribed medication. However my encounter left me feeling judged and unsupported.Upon realizing that my doctor inadvertently shorted me on the supply of needles needed for my three-month medication I reached out to the pharmacy for assistance. Unfortunately the pharmacist I initially approached responded to my request with assumptions and rudeness treating me as if I were a drug addict seeking illicit substances. The encounter was not only disheartening but also unprofessional.Feeling frustrated and desperate I persisted and thankfully a young woman finally stepped in to help me. She exhibited compassion understanding and went above and beyond to ensure that I received the supplies I needed. I am grateful for her willingness to assist but it was disheartening that it took such an effort to find support in a place meant to provide medical assistance. What made this situation even worse was that I had my young son with me which further compounded the stress and discomfort. It is disheartening to see such an environment that lacks empathy and fails to prioritize the needs of their customers especially when considering the potential impact it may have on children witnessing such interactions. As a customer who relies on the services provided by Walgreens I believe it is crucial to address this issue. The judgmental behavior displayed by the pharmacist not only goes against the principles of customer service but also undermines the trust that customers place in the company. I sincerely hope that Walgreens takes steps to improve staff training and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. It is disheartening to recount my experience at Walgreens pharmacy where I was met with judgment and rudeness when seeking assistance for my prescribed medication. However I am grateful for the young woman who ultimately helped me. I hope that my review serves as a reminder to Walgreens to prioritize empathy and customer service training enabling them to better support their valued customers in the future.

The pharmacy can be a bit of a headache but there is a kind cashier, Kenneth, who went the extra mile to help save me quite a bit of money. Customer service of that caliber is rare these days.

Very rude employees in the pharmacy as well as miss information from 4 different employees in the pharmacy.Long waits while on the phone to speak to pharmacy reps. Very dis-informed and no auto refill updates by email. I've used Walgreens Pharmacy for 20+ years in Arkansas, Texas, and in Springfield , Missouri and also store shopping althoughI will not ever use them again for anything! No EXCUSES for rudeness! The prices are always higher than other stores anyway.

My girlfriend and I went into the Walgreens here, and I saw a problem she has been experiencing there for years. The manager on duty in the front has a few problems that are very concerning. First being his eyes were very bloodshot, and his speech to his coworker the two times he talked to his coworker were very strange. One was him yelling loudly to his younger coworker that “You have to find something to do, stay busy” while standing there doing nothing himself. Next was an inaudible mumble when the phone rang and this kid went to get it. It sounded like gibberish and sounded slurred. As we got to the register, he proceeded to stare at places on my girlfriend that made me very uncomfortable. I proceeded to stare back at him, and he broke gaze just rubbing his eyes. I looked away and his eyes were instantly staring at my girlfriend. We went through that cycle until our transaction was done. He wasn’t the person who was scanning our items. He just stood off to the side staring. As we left, I told my girlfriend what I saw and she said it has been happening for years. That every-time she had entered the store, he would always watch her as she walked, always staring at her. She said that she always tried to avoid him for that reason, and that it was bad she remembered him every time and tried her he at to avoid eye contact. He was a middle aged man in a manager type shirt, with brown shortish hair. I just wanted to do something about this, because from what I saw, I would not trust that person to be around any woman and be appropriate, let along let him manage a store with young people and women coming in and out, or even the people he manages. I just wanted to write this to let everybody know that if you are a woman and it not busy in there, I would 100% avoid entering. It even made me feel uncomfortable. It feels predatorily how blatant this man’s actions were, along with his bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Avoid.

Pharmacy was horrible. Went there for a covid test and they told me I came to the wrong place and needed to go through the drive through, and then he walked away and ignored me. Another lady stopped me from leaving and asked if I had made an appointment (which I had) and then said they had paperwork. They were unclear and I had to ask them 2 or 3 times where I was actually supposed to go. Then they sent me to the drive through again. The guy who “helped” me was rude to the lady in front of us as well. If you don’t like your job then go somewhere else instead of taking it out on the customers.

I almost never leave bad reviews because I believe there’s always a reason someone should be given grace for bad days/mistakes. However, I’ve been going to this Walgreens for 7-8 months and have not ONCE had a good experience. Not only are the lines incredibly long and slow (you’ll be waiting 45 minutes minimum), but the staff is rude and never helpful. Most recently, I had a staff member try to charge me hundreds of dollars for a prescription and when I asked if it had gone through insurance, they insisted that it had. I pressed it because it usually only costs me $11, and after some back and forth, they realized it hadn’t. I had to press them to even run it through insurance. Then the next time, the woman helping me kept telling me I had no prescription available. I showed her the Walgreens email that said otherwise. Then told me it was out of refills and to contact my doctor. I, again, showed her the Walgreens email that said otherwise. She was huffy and rude and only said she could transfer it here after I asked multiple times. She didn’t suggest it as an option or offer to help. The whole experience was nearly an HOUR and there was a line behind me not being helped. I understand short staffing, truly. But this has gotten to a level of incompetence and rudeness that’s definitely not on par with what you’d expect from a pharmacy. Definitely the last time I’ll be using this one.

The team here has always taken care of my needs whether it be shopping in the store or picking up my scripts at the pharmacy.

This sorry excuse for a “pharmacy” has gone down hill. When requesting consultation with the younger male Pharmacist, I was so appalled how unprofessional he was and how little desire he had to help at all. I had questions regarding some OTC items that I was considering for my child. They didn’t even have the basic OTC items are commonly used. He gave no consultation and pretty much talked $hit about how Walgreens sucks so much. I agree, he was right to say Walgreens is going in the wrong direction. They also forgot to give me a syringe for my child's oral meds. They are a complete mess. Go somewhere else.

Oh boy do I have a story. I have been a pharmacy customer for 5+ years and it seems that at least once a week or so there is some issue with them refilling my meds. Most recently I had a prescription that needed refilled. The med was due to be refilled on the tenth and it has been nine days now since I called it in on the due date. In that time they cancelled the order three times with no explanation, ordered it in three times, and finally when I was supposed to pick it up today I went in and they told me it will be in tomorrow. Granted I was irritated going in but the pharmacy counter lady said to the pharmacist as soon as her back was turned "what is wrong with people today". It gets even better than that the pharmacist within two minutes after that comment said sarcastically "why would we even have that in stock?". Needless to say I transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy today, I don't do well with people like that.

Today I needed one of the smaller photo books for an afternoon event. The staff at Walgreen's bent over backwards to make sure the photos got printed and the book was put together in time for the event. Can't say thank you enough.

So third day in a row tried to pick up my prescription but no! The first day I called they didn’t fill it until the end of the day! Came back to next day the line was backed up outside and didn’t feel comfortable blocking peoples entrance to get in so I parked and went in I literally got instant anxiety as it was crowded with people waiting in line! The hours on the window is completely wrong the hours everywhere are wrong! After 5 days they put your prescription back on the shelf! What happened Walgreens did you seriously run off the pharmacists?

I was told me medication that I've waited days for " may or may not"Be on the truck.... I explained it's super important I get it today, I have sever hypertension that I'm dealing with and I can't miss an doses. The tone I received on the other line was as if the person could care less , well you can call other Walgreens to see if they have it. Aside from them being rude ,I've waited days for this medication . I will no longer be using Walgreens ad a pharmacy

My physician called in a prescription and I went to pick it up. I was told that my projected time was 11:15. This was about 10:30. I told them that I had no way of knowing that I had a projected time and asked if I could get it quicker. The person at the counter yelled out my name and that I was a “waiter.” I asked if she had any idea how long it would be and she said she was instructed not to provide that information. This was as if not providing me an estimate was more courteous than possibly providing a poor estimate. I just wanted an idea so I could plan. I asked how I would know when it was done. She said I could sign up for text notification, which I did. I ran next door for a drink and came back and sat and waited. After about 30 minutes and observing someone come in, drop off a prescription, and have it filled while I sat I asked how that could happen and she again asked my name and told me my prescription was ready. I told her that I was not notified and she said “she could not control the computer.” No apology. The pharmacist was less than 10 feet away and never gave me the courtesy of an explanation.Poor system, worse customer service.

This Walgreens is unbelievably bad. I switched all of my prescriptions to a wonderful pharmacy, Battlefield Pharmacy. Unfortunately my son needed a covid test to get back into school and BP doesn’t do those. Walgreens was recommended by the school. The instructions said to look for the signs when you go to the drive through. There are NO signs regarding testing. We got in the second line because it was shorter. Well, after waiting 1 hour!!! The employee is incredibly rude and says you can’t test in this lane and you need to get in the first lane. Now we are back in the first lane waiting (3 cars in front of me and I’ve been here 15 minutes so far). Alps charges $160 for a Rapid. Walgreens just bills your insurance. Finally to the window, 1 hour and 30 minutes later. Clearly, Alps is the better deal. Time is money and rudeness is unacceptable.

I have been here twice to get my covid vaccine and they have some room to improve in the customer service department for sure. To be fair, it was the pharmacy. They were busy and appeared short staffed, but that doesn't excuse rudeness. I had an appointment but wasn't on their roster for some reason and they were looking for a reason not to accommodate me for sure. The lady who gave me my vaccine was very nice and super polite. She did a great job as well. If it wasn't for her I would have pushed the issue of the way they treated people and even talked to them for that matter. Wont be going there for anything unless it was an emergency for sure

This Walgreens is very inefficient. They always have long lines for the drive thru and the meds are never ready at pickup time. They close their drive thru during lunchtime instead of having enought staff to work through the lunch hour.

Was sent here by urgent care for 2 simple prescriptions. Not a soul in the parking lot, no one waiting for scripts and its going to take them an HOUR to fill non narcotic prescriptions. Theyve had the prescription for an hour already too. Absolute worst pharmacy ive ever had the displeasure of being forced to...since the urgent care i went to earlier is now closed and cant send me somewhere else. If i could give 0 stars i would. Never coming to this store ever again.

We have tried to get a prescription filled since last week. They only gave 7 days worth of Medication. I went through drive up window and they said it would be an hour. I went back through drive up window and got the run around. Had to go inside. Unable to walk very far. I had to walk to the very back of the store. Then they didn't have it ready. Yesterday we called to make sure that they would have the prescription ready for today. I called this morning and it won't be ready until 12:30PM. It has been ridiculous what we have had to do to get this one prescription.

I have tried to pick up my prescription no less than 5 times. Every time I go here there is either 8 cars backed up in the drive thru or a line in the store that is 15-20 people deep. I would wait in the line if I didn’t have social anxiety and had a couple hours to kill but it shouldn’t be this bad.

Absolute joke of a pharmacy. They've lost my prescriptions before, gave me someone else's on another occasion, and good luck picking up your prescription in less than half an hour, when they even bother being open during their listed hours. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Absolutely horrible service. Was needing to pickup an antibiotic and the script was sent in at 6pm they close at 7pm. I showed up at 6:35 to pick it up and they refused to even get it ready. Haven’t even started on it. I work in a pharmacy as well so I know that it only takes 15-20 minutes to get ready. It being an antibiotic should of made it a priority seeing that it’s for infections and every second with infections matter. Absolutely ridiculous. If the symptoms get worse I am definitely going to blame this pharmacy for it.

I normally use a different pharmacy due to prices. Walgreens was open on weekend for my dr to send in meds. I go to lick them up and they only gave me one med so I thought that’s all I had. I never got better I got worse. Come to find out they filled my antibiotics but didn’t give them to me. Next case is meds were prescribed for something else and they tell me price for meds, syringes and needles. Go to get it and they tell me price but it’s not ready 2 days after it was prescribed. Go back next day it’s ready for same price but no needles or syringes. They have also gave the completely wrong meds to me before. Will never use them again I’ll go to S Campbell for the meds.

Longest line and slowest pharmacy I have ever experienced and it has been like this for close to a year. Finally made it to the front of the line today and received notes that it would be ready in 15. They never called my name. After an hour of waiting I had to get in the back of the long line again. Changing pharmacy’s after his experience.

Great pharmacy and customer service is always exceptional!! Down side sometimes the wait time is very long (hence the four stars). Today I had a great experience with the pharmacy staff and wanted to share!! I had absolutely no wait time and they help me get my daughter's $150 ear drops for $30😁. They also got it to me ASAP which is helpful with a sick kiddo in arm thanks again guys you are GREAT!!!

I've been using this pharmacy for a year, and have literally never left happy. I've liked previous Walgreens, but this one is horrible and I am giving up on them. They have filled partials, then claimed they filled the entire script when I came back for the rest. They are always rude and judgmental. There is always a long line. I swear they mess up on their counting as well, but if you talk to a pharmacist of course there's no way they could possibly make an error.

This Walgreens has so much potential to be a great pharmacy for this area of Nixa. Unfortunately, like others have mentioned, you could be on your own in the drive through or inside the store at the counter and it seems the employees are deliberately ignoring you. I understand the pharmacy business is a busy one, but its no reason to make patients feel like its impossible to get their medication. Remember Nixa Walgreens, PATIENTS, some of them need a sense of humility from interactions with those engaged in their wellness. I did speak to someone that identified himself as a manager, he said he would address it. I hope for the folks that have no other choice but to use this pharmacy have a better experience in the future. For me, mail-order moving forward.
