Stopped in after a delicious meal in the same strip center. The staff member was knowledgeable and walked me directly to the product I requested. Lucky me, it was even on sale. I'll definitely be back.

Found this store by accident and was very happy I did. The staff were very friendly, super knowledgeable, and I was able to get product to help my itchy dog... she was very thankful the itching stopped!

This was my first visit to Pet Supplies Plus. It was very organized and the staff was great. They are eager to help and obviously love animals in the sense they care.Prices vary but competitive with other stores.

From the moment I walked in and paid to use the dog bath facility, I was constantly told I had only 20 min. to wash and dry my boxer. Then, I get back there and have only began to start the process and was told AGAIN I had only 20 min. Because there was people waiting. 20 minutes is not enough time to wash and dry a dog. I had to leave with my dog partially wet in very cold temperatures outside. This costs $14.00 and I feel the amount of time is not enough for how much it costs. Plus, my dog has an undercoat which takes longer to rinse and dry her. 30 minutes is much more reasonable for $14.00! You could probably wash a small dog in 20 minutes but you can’t wash a big dog in 20 minutes and dry them. People aren’t bringing Chihuahuas they’re bringing big dogs.

Normally I love this store and the staff are friendly but the girl at the front today who appeared to be a manager was very rude. She didn’t help me at all and had a nasty attitude. I asked about a collar or harness that won’t break easy because my dog broke through a metal chain no problem and she immediately shot me down and said they didn’t have anything that would work without even showing me any options. I understand if they really don’t have anything but she didn’t have to be so rude about it. She literally looked like she hated her job and didn’t want to be there.

This place is excellent! The staff though mostly a young crew has amazing knowledge and are very helpful in choosing new products and my many questions about caring for a friend's bearded dragon while they were out of town. It's quick and easy in and out with better prices than the big stores in town.

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Always willing to help an old lady out with carrying my large dog and cat food bags to my car. The only time I've seen this store "junkie" as one person put it is when they were restocking and there will be some disarray with that ...thats to be expected. However, i would prefer staff to stop and assist me or at least ask me (which they do) if i need help vs cont to stock and ignore me which happens at other stores. I never have to hunt someone down. Great store-great staff!!

Split star rating. 5 star for helpfulness of employees. Zero star for store condition, cleanliness, and organization. Don’t be fooled by corporate posted pictures of this store. They are NOT what I observed while shopping there. I sent a longer letter to corporate. Maybe they will take note, maybe they won’t. The store is filthy, unorganized and in disrepair. Too much stuff stacked everywhere and the checkout counter area is horrible gross with all kinds of junk stuff under, on top of and around the register. Hand written signs are unprofessional and scream that corporate doesn’t care. The store just screams EWWW! And Yuk! Store manager needs to step up their game in managing employees job assignments and either add staff to clean or pay staff more. (Maybe lack of pride in employment). Store needs some good old elbow grease especially during Covid-19. Like to support local but maybe not this local store.

Unfortunately this is the only place around that sells dubias. It seems like every time I go there is always an employee that would rather be not working. It's just sad. They use to sell the bugs free running, now they sell them in a bucket for 21 dollars and 5 of them were dead. That a lot dead when your only getting 18 to start with.

We stopped In the other night right before closing desperate to find supplies for 2 geckos that were just GIVEN🤦‍♀️ to my daughter.The staff was AWESOME! Neither the young man nor the young woman were irritated that we came in within 10 minutes of closing. They knew their stuff and were very helpful and friendly. We will be shopping there for all of our pets needs as opposed to the bigger stores from now on.

It really is a nice Pet Store. I was traveling and needed to get some items for my cat. The staff was so helpful. They provided me with helpful hints on purchasing nnrw items for my 🐈. I'll definitely be a repeat customer when I return to their town. Thank you ladies helping me and being so kind.

I went to exchange a product my husband bought by mistake. Although they did not have the exact product I was looking for, the manager allowed me to choose substitutions. I did not have a receipt. I have rarely had this level of customer service ( from the cashier to the manager). AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Employees always nice to me but not always helpful. One time I was buying freeze dried meal worms for my flytraps and they pressured me into getting live ones. I know that flytraps prefer live one's but they are difficult to maneuver into the traps and I'm not very comfortable with killing them. It was kind of annoying to be ganged on. 😅

Great location. They carry everything you may need for all your pets. Cane in for some crickets and worms for my bearded dragon and next visit well get some roaches! Thanks for all the help with suggestions on food and how often to feed.

Very small store, poor selection, and they don't carry live feeders... I was a regular at the location they closed on campbell to open this new one, visiting 1 to 2 times a week. I have a bearded dragon and was excited for a pet store in Nixa, when I inquired about this store they assured it would be the same. I agree with others, it's not worth the extra stop.UPDATE!! They carry live feeders now:) thank you pets way!!

Love the bath tubs for my dogs. My big dog sheds so much I can't bath him at home and the groomers cost too much to do that regularly. I like being able to take him to petsway and bath him. The shampoo smells good and the dryers get him nice and blown out.

This store is in a convenient location for me, and most of the employees are friendly. That said, it's a rather small store which means inventory is very limited. Because of this, they rarely have a full case of the cat food my rather picky cat will eat. Without being able to buy a full case, I can't get the full-case discount. This makes the cost significantly higher that what it would cost to order the product online or drive to PetsWay in Springfield.I recently asked the Nixa location about simply keeping more of the product on hand so there would be a full case and was told I would need to call them or come in no later than Tuesday of the week before I'm going to need it, each time I need it. That's quite a bit less convenient than the other options I have. I would like to believe management is tracking the sales of items and deciding what to keep more of on hand. If they were, they'd probably notice items which are regularly dropping to a quantity of zero over and over again. But, because of the small space they have, perhaps there just physically isn't room to store more inventory on those items.I'm giving the place 3 stars because it's convenient and they sell reputable brands of pet food. I don't have anything against PetsWay in general, but the Nixa store is limited in inventory and not nearly as well-managed as the Springfield stores. I guess if you think of the Nixa location as the "convenience store wing" of the PetsWay chain, it's perfect!
