I love the store. The employees are always super nice and very helpful here. The one down for me right now is you're forced to wear a mask even though the city decided against it. I understand it's up to each business and what they feel is best, but even their employees were suffering the evening I went in. They had to wear it all day long. I personally can't breathe well with one on, but other than that I love the store.

Love going to this Dollar General. I am a frequent flyer lol. Staff is amazing and courteous. They have a lot to do but are always observant as they have to watch for customers at the register. They are always apologetic if they didn't see you there right away. I don't visit any other store unless I am out of town. Plus it is nice and clean it doesn't feel dingy when you walk in.

The employees are always helpful. Its convenient, because it's so close to my house. Sometimes there are too many boxes in aisles. Not long ago they changed their closing time from 10 pm to 9 pm & I just wish they would change closing time back to 10 pm.

Typical Dollar General; cluttered, understaffed, dirty, isle that are hard to maneuver through. But I guess that is what you get when you bargain shop. To their credit, they are starting to add some variety in the home decor section and they now have a healthy eating section.

I was very irritated by the time I finally got through the check out line! The cashier was just holding a whole conversation with the person in front of me. THEN when I thought it was finally my turn the cashier didn't give the lady back the right amount of change and took forever to open back up her drawer to fix it! Ugh..

Several of these in my area, I like to check out their deals. They tend to have name brand items on sale, as well as a variety of seasonal items. They also have great snacks and candy items. Not the best place to go if you are trying to stay healthy, but they do have some things that would support a low carb, low calorie diet.

Went in 10 minutes before the store closed and when we walked in the two girls working looked at us and said “were about to close so you need to hurry up”, I was just trying to get some cosmic brownies. After being there for 3 minutes while my friends were looking for a snack, the two girls kept rushing us out so they could go smoke crack or something because that’s what they looked like they’ve been doing for 5 years.

An employee was disgruntled about something and everyone in the store heard it. She left and was gone maybe 10 minutes and just had to announce to the store when she got back. I asked another employee where I could find the hand sanitizer and she started to tell me then acted like I couldn't follow directions and said, "oh here, It's easier if I just show you."I don't normally shop at dollar general and I really don't think I'll be back anytime soon. And the boy who checked me out didn't tell me I had 2 bags. I didn't buy much so when I left with just one bag I didn't even think twice about it. I realized that 2 of my purchases weren't in the bag when I got home. So, I Had to go back. And when he handed me my bag he said, "oh darn I was gonna eat this for my lunch." I didn't know what to think of that. I left with the thought...I'll never shop there again.

The manager was extremely kind and helpful. They have some cute things and their prices were super cheap. I'll definitely be back.. Especially when I need to save some coin.

This particular store, in Nixa, is laid out in an awkward way. The entrance/exit opens into the store dividing the area between the path for the store and a pathway for the registers. The aisles feel long here which is nice, but they also feel very close together making the store seem small and cramped. It this the worst Dollar General I have been in? No. But it is definitely not the best store even in this area.

The staff couldn't help me on how to use the coupon app correctly. That was disappointing. Then I bought other items that were suppose to be 40 percent off and paid full price. I am not one to take things back. Just watch your receipt before you ever leave the store if you go.

I have only been to the Nixa location once.It was difficult to find someone to get us checked out.I returned a few days later to return some boxed drink packets that I bought a bunch of and had never tried before (but they were much like the other flavors we drink all the time).They were a dollar each box (6 packets in each) that you add to a bottle of water.I bought Cream Soda and Cherry Cola. Well, no one liked them - I hated them and went to take back 13 unopened boxes.By the time I found the worker, he laughed at me and said I was out of luck. They don't take back any food item and laughed again and then started checking out another customer. I had just been dismissed like I wasn't even there.Out $13 + tax. No exchange for gift card or even sorry. Just a couple of laughs at my expense. I don't live in Nixa so it was the drive there and home. He could've been a little more professional about it.

Dustin and Richard are always extremely helpful and fun! Ruby is willing to fix a problem. And the store is always clean. Only Dollar General I'll shop at!

I'm ashamed to say I always forget where this is due to location, which is so disappointing because I love shopping here! It has been much busier the last few times I've gone, but they always have what I need in stock in spite of that & I was surprised to find a lot of things I normally shop for elsewhere that were better priced here.

The staff is courteous and the store is awesome but when it's truck day it's hard to navigate the isles with the pallets in the way and they don't often have to cool finds that the dollar generals in Ozark or Springfield have.

Very wonderful clerk behind the counter. Obviously the ONLY employee there on Thanksgiving day, but maintained a completely positive attitude. His attitude alone made my day.

They are open to 9pm which is later yam some dollar general's and the staff say this one is very helpful! With the online coupons you cam really get some great deals here!!

Conveniently situated between a couple of run down apartment complexes and across the street from a closed down ice cream shop on the industrial end of Nixa, this is about what you'd expect - a prime spot for a Dollar General. Here you can pay twice more than at WalMart for a 32oz thing of Apple juice and less for a sixer of Miller High Life, just not on Sunday's. Come and bask in the cold fluorescent lighting. Take in the flora of the black mold and the fauna of the local riff raff as they shop for pampers and steal baby formula! You'll be glad you came.

Its quick and conveniently close. Down sides are some prices are a bit high (again convenience) and at times it is hard to find staff to ring you up.
