not a good experience at all. my dog had multiple clipper cuts that bled & are now scabs from her face to her teets....clipper cuts all over her. She was not bathed & the nail clipping job was poor. We have been to other places, in 2 states, always great jobs even when having to shave her down, even petsmart was a + place. place stunk, staff stunk, looked like a bunch of meth skanks...raggedy, gross, filthy place.

This place is horrible they butchered my poor baby. I have a giant schnauzer I wanted her shaved I did not want a schnauzer cut they agreed to do it. The place smelled horrible it stunk. Not even sure they bathed her because she smelled worse than when she went in. And they cut her was to close. To the point she has scabs all over from the clippers. This place is a disgrace and should shut its doors. If you care for your animals DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. They shaved her bald by her eyes. I’m furious. She loves the groomers and Pet CO always said she did great. So don’t tell meShe acted up with you. Your liars.

I have 2 lg dogs. Golden retriever and golden doodle. Their pricing is very fair and cheaper than groomers in Springfield. $50 for basic bath and nail trim. I pay $5 more for my doodle face to get trimmed. They take good care of them while I'm away too.

The business smelled so bad I could not breathe. I will not take my dog back again. My dog did not even smell clean and her cut looked like a child with scissors cut her. I’m so dissatisfied the last few times I’ve taken my dog there, quality just keeps getting worse. I’ve taken my dog there since 2016 and I’m looking for a new groomer. Her tears did not get cleaned and her fur does not look clean and she does not smell like she was bathed. I’m going to have to take her to get it done right elsewhere. Don’t waste your money or your dogs stress at this place. I really don’t think this place has the animals in their best interest.

Doggie Spa of America helped my three cats recently. They had a bad case of fleas and needed a bath which I couldn't do myself. They kindly came and picked up the cats, because I live nearby and don't have a car which was awesome and took them back and bathed them. They returned all three of them home safely a few hours later after they had dried off. The cats are doing much better now since the bath plus I have good flea medicine on them and treated my house. Thank you Doggie Spa of America for treating myself and my kitties with such kindness! 😻

I’ve taken my dog here for the last time. Place stinks so bad I can’t even breath in there. Asked for my dog to have his hair shaved to one even length and his hair is so uneven...especially around his face. Would have taken him back in to complain but oh my ...the smell. Not happy at all.

Everyone was incredibly caring and attentive. They were more than happy to accommodate special needs. Not to mention the pups came out happy and healthy! Will definitely use them for our boarding needs in the future.

Cut was ok but not quite as I'd asked for. I had to rebathe my dog and spray him with some Doggie spray when I got home bc he smelled like it does at a dog pound. The place was filthy and reaked of urine. The kennels were gross. Will not be going back. Now I know why they were so reasonable. My husband always says you get what you pay for.

I've used this company for my huskys grooming and boarding and I can't sing their praises enough! They have the best customer service and my husky always looks his best when he leaves their shop! Plus the staff is amazing!!

I took my 2 dogs there today, second time for my yorkie but first for my frenchie with this groomer. We went to the new location and it was horrible. The smell is unbearable, it was so dirty, and she cut a chunk off of my yorkie’s ear, the worse part was she didn’t even let me know until after I had paid and was headed out. My frenchie was supposed to be deshedded, bathed, and nails trimmed but he covered my car in hair and obviously was not deshedded and his nails definitely were not trimmed. We will not go back and do not recommend this place to anyone. We waited 5 hours and I’m sure a large part was waiting on my 10 year old yorkies ear to stop bleeding where she took out a large chunk. Also his cut was very uneven but I didn’t dare ask her to even it up because I was afraid he would be further injured.

Took my Shepsky to them for de-shedding treatment and bath, which they said included toenail trim and ear cleaning. I paid $75 total. The de-shedding worked well, but they didn't trim her nails or clean her ears. She was there from 9am to 530pm.

If i could give them no stars i would, I had both of my dogs boarded for my 10 day wedding out of town. My husky/Shepard mix came back smelling like a farm and my other dog smelled like vanilla. My husky/Sheppard had Knotts and burrs all through out his under coat. Which inturn will cost me almost as much to fix. Even after giving him a bath, the smell would not go away. I do not recommend this place at all. Even the front desk lady didn't even know how to reload the receipt paper. They are unorganized and nobody's trained enough to handle taking care of anyone's dogs. Let alone the fish tank in the lobby was beyond dirty and smelt awful. If they can't take care of a simple thing like changing water... image what they do to your dogs. We will be calling tomorrow TO GET OUR MONEY BACK.

They did well the first few times, and the price is good, but the last two times parts of our dog's coat were left uncut, and they had him for 4+ hours. They keep the dogs in small kennels, which is fine when they're on schedule, but I don't like it when my dog is left in them for hours waiting. Both times we were told they were short-staffed, but they could have called in advance so we didn't leave him there in the kennel for hours, instead of finding out when we went to pick him up hours later. Regardless, being short-staffed is no excuse for not finishing the job. This last time his neck and ears were totally untouched. We gave them a second chance, but we will not give a third.

This place was recommended by our vet and I’m glad we went with it! They took our pit/boxer on short notice and gave her a good bath. We’ve had bad experiences elsewhere where we have picked up our pup and she looks traumatized. Not here! She was clean AND happy! We’ve also had places that have treated her roughly because of her breed - not here! My husband and I are very pleased and will be returning regularly.

Ken and Lori are fantastic and took great care of our two dogs! We left our pups with them over the week of Thanksgiving while we traveled and we picked them up smelling fresh, looking happy and healthy. We are so pleased with their boarding service that we will definitely be back and recommend them to others looking for boarding. My family and I didn’t worry one bit when we left our dogs with them, thanks again Ken and Lori!!

Been coming here for years and today will be my last time. Dropped my lab off at 8am and told her I would pick her up at 4pm, walked in and the groomer was just talking away on a personal call so I had to wait for her to finish, when I told her who I was picking up you could see the panic on her face and told me it was going to be another 10 or so min because she had to finish her up. She was with them for 8 hours and I had to wait 25 min. It’s so nasty in the lobby, definitely went down hill.

I can not say enough good about this place. I have been taking my dogs here for about a year now but yesterday I noticed my german shepherd had fleas and I called them and the gentleman working squeeze my dog in and stayed an hour past their closing time to make sure to get all the fleas off my dog. He was so kind and so good to my dog. I can’t thank them enough! Take you dogs here. They are great priced and so good to dogs!

what a scam. dropped my dog off at 1 with a written list of what I wanted done. they said that was their "basic" and it would be $40. they said it would take 3 to 4 hours because they had some behavioral issue dogs. At 5:15 I called because I hadn't heard a word from them. they said she was still in front of the fan because she wouldn't tolerate thr high velocity dryer. when I asked to clarify if all she'd had done was thr bath they told me how it was taking her so long to dry because her hair is very thick. they estimated another 45 minutes to an hour. I told them forget it and I was coming to get her. when I showed up they still tried to charge to me the $40. No hair had been trimmed at all, only thr bath and a hasty nail trim. when I asked why I was being charged for services she didn't get the offered me a "discount" of 15%, so $34 for a bath. she doesn't even smell good and the place stunk as well. if they wouldve called with any form of communication during the 4 hours it wouldve been helpful and when i mentioned that it was ignored. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

So glad I found this place. Wonderful grooming with great prices. My boy has never looked better! My last groomer took about 6 hrs, my baby is 85lbs so he takes a while, they him finished in 4 hrs.

We took our big dog (Spanky), who is really a furry fur baby and the did awesome, they cut his hair really close as we asked and he is now not leaving buckets of hair everywhere which makes Suzi very happy. They are very easy to talk to and I think very committed to their clients (fur babies)! They are now our groomers and I think Spanky really loved being there! Oh, and smelled wonderful too!!

We made our appointment a month earlier. Dropped our shih tzu at 11 a.m. for a 3/4 hour appointment. Tried to call at 4p.m. no answer, no voice mail. Went to pick her up, she wasn't done! Took her unfinished. We will not be going there again.

Brought in my two pitbulls, at first everything was great, nice staff, good experience booking the stay.The trainer seemed very eager to do a good job, even offered to bring my dogs out at night while the others were kenneled so my dogs could run around a bit. The smell was fairly potent when I walked in. The next day when we picked them up the smell seemed worse. At this point everything seemed fine though and we even inquired about a quick trim on their nails. The staff were gracious and took them right back to trim the nails. The owner was even nice enough to not charge us for the first dog since she felt she couldn't trim his nails a whole bunch.The issues began once we got them back to the hotel. We've been in a hotel for the last three weeks as we wait for our home purchase and house hold goods to clear. This is why we took the dogs to a kennel, wanted them to get out of the hotel for an evening. At first the dogs were just a bit extra gassy. This later turned into soft stool. The end result has been excessive bathroom runs (in and out of the hotel throughout the night) and nearly 3 hours (and counting) of vomiting. It wouldn't be so alarming if it was one dog, dogs get into things, but to have both dogs exhibiting the same issues something is not right.I don't write this to get a response or trash anyone's name. Please just fix the issue.

So id like to start off i was able to get in do to everywhere else being booked so that was nice. My dog was washed and nails done with even a bandanna!a happy girl once i took her potty( i dont think they took her out the whole time) But i dont think ill be bringing them back. People were very nice but the place smelled so bad of dog pee and dirty dogs. It looked like it hadnt been clean in a long time dog fur all over the loby and when i came back 6 hr later it was still there. They also have a dogie day care that u cant see in with very loud dogs and when the door opens for employee to walk into you can see the filth. ..

I have been using them for 2-3 years. They do a great job. They seem to have very little turnover so it is always the same groomers and they are so sweet to my dog. I was there once and they were allowing a woman who had been in the hospital to pay off her bill she had accumulated for her 4+ dogs. They even went to her house and picked them up for her now that she was back at work.

The staff is super friendly but the place needs a good cleaning. It was pretty dirty when we came in. It was first thing in the morning so it wasn't because it was busy. It also smelled so bad of urine that I honestly should have walked out. I didnt...I will say that they didnt require any type of shot record, a little bit of a red flag.My dog was wagging her tail and didnt seem to be unhappy in anyway wich has not always been the case at other groomers.I honestly think that this place would be great if they did a little more cleaning and had better protocol when it came to shot records and such. To protect everyone.

Lucy our dog has stayed with Doggie Spa on 2 different occasions and my wife and I felt very good about how she was taken care of. They had Lucy for almost 2 weeks the first time and she seemed to have enjoyed her stay and was in good spirits when we picked her up. We would highly recommend Doggie Spa to anyone of our family and friends
