We had to spend a few days out of town, but we knew that our dog was taken care of. When we checked in, we went back with him and sat on the bed in his suite while he calmed down and became familiar with his surroundings. We left knowing that he was safe and well cared for. I boarded my dogs here just this past weekend for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing!!! My dogs loved it and they had options for bedrooms with TVs and everything. Price is amazing too! I’m so thankful we found a place just down the road from our home. The owners were so nice and communicated well with us before their first night. Definitely recommend!! On our way home last night from the game David and I were talking about how wonderful A Bit of Country K9 Kennel has been to us and our Sadie girl and how we needed to start preparing better at making our reservations for her. You and Ken have been so amazing and we hate going anywhere else. When we get to make our reservations we are very happy. You guys are fantastic! We’ve used you and Ken throughout the years for our Sadie girl and have referred you to countless others. We love how happy Sadie is when she comes to visit. We’re so thankful for you guys and the way you care for our girly girl.You guys are the best!We know that when we leave Sadie, that she is in the best hands and having lots of Fun. I was so nervous to board my dog for the first time since she seems to have some high anxiety. They kept me updated on her and sent me a picture. When I went to pick her up she acted as if she didn't want to go! They took very good care of my baby.

Amazing people who have a wonderful facility. It is very clean and the kennels are nicely sized. I hadn't been anywhere for 5 years because I didn't want to leave my dogs with just anyone. I can't say enough good things about them. When I picked the boys up they had been bathed and it was better than when I had them groomed elsewhere. They really care about your dogs and it shows. My dogs had never been boarded before but due to the wonderful reviews, I decided to try A Bit of country. One of my dogs has anxiety and takes a long time to warm up to strangers, but she took to Kathy right away. The owners said they did great and the pups were happy and seemed non the worst for wear. We will definitely use them again.

The very best. Clean. Cozy. Safe. Ken and Cathie truly care about each and every guest. They have gone above and beyond for my dogs. Take pictures to share while we are out of town. Saved baby teeth for one of our puppies on his first visit. Make sure all vaccines are up to date to keep all of their guest safe. And go above and beyond to help local shelters.

I recently used A bit of country on the recommendation of clients and coworkers. Their facility far exceeded my expectations. Walking into the facility it doesn’t smell like a kennel you can tell that they take care of the place and truly care about the pets. I personally was greeted with a smile and a welcome. I would recommend a bit of country to everyone I know. Their standards are higher than most and the facility is absolutely beautiful, it’s like a little doggie hotel!

This kennel was highly recommended by several friends. Cathie and Ken are obviously dog lovers. Our 2.5 year old dog had never been away from us and we were so nervous about leaving him, but once we got there and met Cathie and Ken we were at ease. The place is so clean and by the nice smell you would never know it was a Dog Kennel. When we picked up our dog a week later he was so excited, and when Cathie held out her arms to him, he wanted to go to her again. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about Bit O Country Kennel. .

My dogs LOVE going here. It's a vacation for the from their humans and they start crying with excitement when we turn on the road for the kennel because they know where they are going! I'll never be able to trust someone else with my babies like I do Ken and Cathie. They are, hands down, the best there is!

Couldn't keep my "Grand-dogs" for we have a new puppy, elderly dog & one other sweetheart. Two more was more than I could handle for 10 days. My son had used this boarding kennel 8 years ago & thought highly of them, but of course Mom was more to his wallets liking, LOL. So I only needed to drop them off there for him. It looks to be very clean, efficient & really caters to the dogs, (TV room!), I would compare it to the Doggy Hilton! Since I have never used them personally, all I can say is they seem to be very respected & busy.

Cathy and Ken really care for your pets. They get them out individually and play with them. Really our dog feels like it's his home away from home. Very accommodating and reasonable on their pricing. Cannot speak highly enough about this kennel. We don't want our dog to have to stay anywhere else.

Cathie and Ken are wonderful with our little girl. This is the best kennel that we have ever used. We never worry when we leave her with them. Our dog even gives Cathie one of her charming puppy smiles when we walk into the kennel! Highly recommend them!!!

The best around! They are so good that they book up SO far in advance! So if you know you’re going to need them, call them immediately. Our dogs get so excited when we pull in the gate I can hardly contain them!!

Best place to bring your dogs. They are the nicest people you could come by. They really connect with the dogs. I think they are dog whispers! I don't think they have had a dog come their and not love them. You will not regret leaving your pup with them.

Best kennel I've ever used! My dog gets very nervous around people she doesn't know, and she loves it there! I never feel uneasy when my pup is there when I'm away :)
