It was a quick stop on the way to the river float to pick up supplies like: eggs, creamer, cheese and chips without having to go inside a big box store. The store is crowded with items, but it does not seem to impede in any way. Staff were friendly and answered questions.

Store is great. Using digital coupons is great. Being followed around store by a big dude who was obviously high was not great. Not store's fault but some are viewing store as an opportunity to prey on unsuspecting customers.

Absolutely asenine experience. Just purchased 2 umbrellas, marked $3.95 each. Noticed after leaving that they rang up at $6.00 each. Took them and the receipt back. Rude female worker told me they were in the wrong spot. That they were different (they were not) than the ones that were $3.95. I bent down and read the description on the DG tag. Exact same as manufacturer description on umbrella. She raised her voice and said !"I'M TELLING YOU, THEY'RE IN THE WRONG SPOT!"Um, listen, witch, I worked in retail for a WHILE. First of all, when the UPC code on the item matches the UPC code on the shelf, then THAT is the price of the item. Not MY fault if it was entered in the computer wrong. The umbrella I purchased was marked $3.95.I not so politely informed her that we'd be giving ANYONE else in town business but her from now on. I know this is over $4.10, that isn't the point. This cow was RUDE to me, while I was trying to show her, kindly, that the item did not ring up the price it was marked.I spend about $150.00 a week at this store. Never again.

They have nearly anything you might need --may not be the exact brand you're used to, but something similar. You can park very close. Everyone is pleasant and helpful.

They have some good items here. Not all the items they carry are cheaper than other stores. You just have to shop around.

I can't expect anything better from Dollar general I've never had bad customer service the prices are pretty good and you can find a Dollar general within 5 miles of almost anywhere

Digital coupons don't always work, and oftentimes they're understaffed so you have to wait for them to finish stocking items before they can check you out
