Puppy Travelers was the company my breeder used to send my pup home to us. The price was okay however for the price I paid the service did not match.I was told that my puppy would arrive on Tuesday early morning. I did not mind traveling two hours since they no longer deliver to Georgia. I received a call on Monday afternoon from the driver. The driver informed me that the route was changed where my puppy would be traveling for an extra day (Wednesday at 3 am) and my original traveling time to get him at their drop location would be four hours instead of two.I did not want my puppy to experience the stress of traveling another day so the other option the driver informed me of was to pick him up that same day at 4 am. I was very annoyed however I was excited to see him a day earlier. Again I did not want him to experience the stress of driving an additional day.When I picked up my pup I realized that he was big and round. I received an envelope from my breeder with nothing else. I later found out that my breeder provided four days worth of food to the driver. And realized that my puppy most likely ate all that food. I took him to the vet immediately after driving six hours to get him to make sure that he was OK.I am glad to have my pup and do not want to think of what could’ve happened if he was traveling for that extra day with all that food in his gut.As I stated, the money that I paid to have my pump delivered did not reflect the service that I received. I DO NOT recommend.

As soon as I received my puppy he was throwing up blood. Took him to the ER where he spent a week. He come home finally and then died a day later at home. We are heartbroken.

Received my puppy delivered to me by Puppy Travelers in excellent condition, and happy. They were so nice and easy to communicate. I have never purchased a puppy from another state before and am so pleased with the seller for using this service. I feel like my beautiful puppy was taken care of and treated well on his long journey. Excellent! Thanks guys for getting my puppy to me safe and happy and making this experience positive! Have a vet appointment with your vet in a few days. Read some horror stories and feel terrible for those that lost their pup or their pup became ill. Mine had a clean health approval from the vet yesterday prior to being shipped. This was required for shipping.😁

Beware of this company! Came all the way from Oregon to meet them in Salt Lake. Verified day and time 3 times! It was to be Tuesday morning with a 3 hour range from 8am to 11am. I got to Salt Lake on Monday and got a motel. Tuesday morning I checked out and headed to the address they provided. I then recieved a text. They would be there Wednesday very late. They had reversed the route after combining two vans because not enough puppies. They had picked up my puppy on Monday and were well aware of the new schedule but they let me drive two states away anyway. I had to sit in a parking lot in Salt Lake city all day until I could check into another motel. I had to book two more nights to be able to get my puppy. I also had to reschedule a packed day of clients on Thursday as I would have to drive home this day now. I told them I could not miss Thursday and is why I couldn't drive to pick up the puppy myself in Missouri. This extended trip cost me over $700 so they could save a buck on running two vans. Nobody ever called me or warned me of this change in schedule. I think there plan was to trap me into it. I will say I think the van driver was unaware and was a pretty nice guy. Puppy was in good shape but they are not reliable. The decisions were made in the office. Update: My puppy was sick with a stuffy nose and cough 3 days after arriving, which passed to our other dogs.. Nobody became very sick and recovered after a few days. Probably not good kennel cleaning between pets

I have been using puppy travelers for 2 years now. I have had nothing but positive feedback from families that get puppies from me. I love the girls in the office! My advice to anybody looking into buying/transporting a puppy would be to DO YOUR RESEARCH when looking at breeders.They are simply put- a 'Transport Company'. Their job is to transport; It isn't to raise your puppy, give medications & vaccinations against contracting anything once it is their time to go to their new homes.THAT IS THE BREEDERS JOB. It is my opinion that the bad reviews come from buyers who chose breeders that do not put a good effort into the pre-care of their puppies. If your puppy is SICK, UNDERWEIGHT, BLOATED-it's related to poor pre-care.YOU CAN NOT BLAME PUPPY TRAVELERS 1-3 DAY TRANSPORT ON A BREEDER THAT PROVIDED 8 WEEKS OF POOR CARE AND DID MINIMAL WORK TO ENSURE YOUR PUPPY WAS 100% HEALTHY AND HAPPY BEFORE LEAVING.

We had the BEST experience with Puppy Travelers. Josh was our contact. He called and told me he was in possession of our puppy from the breeder. He provide an estimate. We are from Miami, FL. Josh was very courteous, professional and delivered our puppy from a breeder on Arkansas. I HIGHLY recommended their service/transport. This is my first experience buying from an out of state breeder and dealing with an unknown transport, but my worries have all been put to ease. Again, I highly recommend their service. Will use them again, if I had to.

I have had 2 puppies delivered from them so far. I see some bad reviews about puppies coming with parvo it sounds like your puppy came from your breeder with parvo because they should be vaccinated by the time they get them. Parvo has an incubation rate of 5-7 days which is how long it takes for your dog to get sick and show symptoms. I am just saying all my pups have come clean and healthy you can’t blame them for something that could come from you buying from a bad breeder or puppy mill especially if you never bought from the breeder before. I am a breeder myself, I just bought another puppy that will be delivered through them is 2 weeks.

My family and I recently bought a puppy and after reading the reviews about puppy travelers I was really worried about transport, but our puppy arrived happy and healthy and on time! The men who dropped him off with us were friendly and professional, they kept in contact with me over the day and a half that they had our puppy. We have our first vet visit on Thursday, but our puppy is eating drinking and playing normally! Thank you for delivering our puppy to us safely!

So let me add some layers here as i read the reviews scared when we had our pup transported from Missouri to PA a couple weeks ago. The first thing is it's always good to pick up your pup from a breeder if you can so you can see the breeders location in addition to the research you have hopefully done prior. We did a lot of research given the breeder was in Missouri and Missouri is Puppy Mill USA. Once we saw the reviews after agreeing to the meet up location we called the breeder immediately who took full accountability in this company and knew the owner. The breeder and transporter were immediately responsive. Ask how long your pup will be in transport, ask how often they are checked on, get the breeder involved during the transport if needed. If you get a bad feeling from the breeder don't commit ahead of time. Our Beagle Pup, a runt, arrived healthy, energetic and although a little hungry he got a great health checkup and we have zero complaints. If I do it again, seeing multiple pups are transported and some for longer hours (15 for ours), I would take off work and make the drive to the breeder. That said this crew was great and deserves the review. The best thing you can do is make sure you are working with responsible breeders so that sick pups aren't filling up these transports.

I had a excellent experience using Puppy Travelers to pick up two Pembroke Welsh Corgis from their breeder in Greenville, Arkansas to delivering them to me in Charlotte, North Carolina. I seriously cannot praise Puppy Travelers enough!! They are very reputable and provided an amazing service picking up and delivering two beautiful new Corgis! I have contacted and researched almost every pet transportation service on the market and Puppy Travelers literally has the best prices hands down. This was my first time using a pet transportation service and was extremely nervous and unsure. There was nothing to be concerned about as it was a very easy and straight forward process. Everyone who works there is so helpful, friendly, and professional. A big shout out to Kayla who is a absolute sweetheart, provided impeccable customer service, and was so informative! I really appreciate her kindness and patience with all my questions and multiple phone calls. A big shout out to Jared my puppy's delivery driver who kept me updated every step of the way, was prompt and right on time with delivery, and did an excellent job bringing the Pembroke Welsh Corgis and all their paperwork home! I will be highly recommending Puppy Travelers to everyone! I cannot thank you all enough and will definitely be using only Puppy Travelers for all my future puppy & dog transportations! I sent 3 puppies to 3 different ends of the United States from Missouri on Monday and they all 3 arrived the next evening closer to the buyers locations than I originally expected which made them happy and one buyer said she saw in the back of the van that it looked comfortable for the pups, and her puppy was happy. They kept my buyers updated of ETA when they left, the next morning and then an exact ETA once closer which is what they said they would do so I am very pleased there were no issues with any of the 3 and we were even in bad winter weather so I expected something to be delayed for at least one of them but nope, they did what I paid them to do in the timeline they said they could do it which is a hard task in itself.

We have used Puppy Travelers twice shipping 1 puppy to Oklahoma from Ohio and 1 puppy to New York from Ohio. Both dogs arrived healthy and happy. My husband asked to see the inside of the back of the van. Very nice and comfortable crates with both food and water. The driver was extremely nice and we will continue to reccomend them to our new puppy parents.

We got our puppy, he is skin and bone, will not stand up, all he wants to do it lay and sit, refuses to eat, breeder says the dog was fine and active there but when we get him it’s a different story. pictures i seen he was not skin and bone. then when he gets here he is. i am believing that they did not feed him on a 2.5-3 day drive. i’m going to vet tomorrow to figure out what is going on. yes because my fiancé was the name on the paper. i signed for it. it was a christmas gift for her.

What a horrible 'company'Our puppy was transported via puppy travelers . When she was delivered she had been sitting in her own feces for the 24 hours it took to drive her from Missouri to Arizona. Derek lathered her in baby powder prior to handing her over and carried her out of the van holding her as if she didn't have a heart beat. Zero compassion. She was not fed from the time she left the breeder (10am Monday) until I received her Tuesday at 1:30pm. She also had no water. When we arrived home she drank water non stop and was very dehydrated.She had non stop diarrhea and after a $350 vet visit she had contracted two parasites, the vet suggested most likely from sitting and possibly ingesting her own feces during that time frame. An absolute disgusting company with no care in the world about animals. At least carry the dog like you care. I'm not sure why I paid $300 for transport and you couldn't even provide my animal with water and a clean kennel. I'll be sharing this in every social media outlet and the better Business bureau.Shadiest part is the breeder knew exactly what she was doing sending the puppy thru this company , but wouldn't give me the name of this company until the puppy had left. Now I know why, had I seen all the negative reviews throughout google, Yelp etc I would have never allowed her to be in the hands of Puppy Travelers.

After spending a week with them my puppy got parvo and distemper. When we picked her up at 3 am it was clear she was unclean and sick. I tried contacting several times to see about reconciliation and was told it’s my fault my 10 week old puppy wasn’t fully vaccinated. Even though you can still get either sickness vaccinated or not. When talking to the manager he said he would try to work something out but I have been ghosted.

Hi, I urge you not to use this company. My puppy was delivered to me from Illinois to Carlisle, PA on 3/23/2021. He was a beautiful little Mini Dachshund 3.3 pounds, 11 weeks old. He started displaying signs of not feeling well 4 days later he started vomiting, diarrhea and not eating. I tried boiled chicken and rice to no avail. I took him to the Puppy ER and he was diagnosed with Parvo. I tried to save him but based on his decline after a few days, I was advised by the Veterinarian to not let him suffer any longer. The owner of this company takes no responsibility. Beware, if you want a healthy dog please find another way to get him or her!! Thank you for reading.FYI- I spent thousands at the PET ER and I have all of the documentation if someone needs to review it!! The poor fellow didn't stand a chance.

Jake arrived on time with my new puppy. She was happy, but a little dehydrated when she arrived. I don't think she was let out of the kennel the entire 16 hour drive because as soon as I set her on the ground she started pooping and did it four more times within a few hours. Jake was very kind and kept me updated throughout her 15 hour journey from Missouri to Flagstaff, Arizona. We had a snow storm come through and I have bad tires on my car so Jake went above and beyond being patient and meeting me at a safe location. Thank you Jake!

My puppy arrived after several days of being crated around in this van. After he was delivered (at 2:45 in the morning, 10 hours after we were originally told he would arrive), we had discovered that he was the last of 20 pups in one van to be delivered! A week later he came down with a fever of 107 degrees and had to be hospitalized. The doctors surmised it was some virus he obtain, probably from another dog (or dogs). After $1500 in vet bills it only seemed logical to contact the company regarding this and no word back from them. I am very disappointed, in this company of course, and in myself for trusting an organization like this.

Yesterday I received my puppy traveling from OK to NY, reading all the negative reviews made me very nervous about his health and wellbeing however, when he arrived he was clean, fed and watered. The conditions inside the van appeared immaculate, no foul odors or visible leavings. The delivery was right on time, the driver (Howard) was professional and friendly.

This company should not be a company. I received my puppy on April 21st 2020. Picking him up was good good service. He is a 11 week shih tzu with all of his updated shots and vet checks. Yesterday he was throwing up and having diarrhea at 7pm. Today on April 26th 2020 at around 2 pm we took him to the vet because we were worried. The vet broke the news to us that he had parvo. He is currently in the vets care over night which is very expensive. We caught it early so he may survive but there is absolutely no guarantee. I highly recommend everyone who has picked up their puppy on April 20th or after (they leave on mondays and the dogs are all in one van) to immediately test their dog for parvo. This place needs to be shut down for the lack of care they have for these dogs. My puppy didn’t go anywhere there was no other place he could contract parvo from. This is horrible. I saw a past review that her puppy came down with parvo aswell. I trusted this company because this was the only way to get him from Missouri to Massachusetts and that was a big mistake. Do not trust this company. Do not use this company. This company should be shut down. Horrible sick disgusting company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I cannot stress that enough. Trust the reviews because they were right.EDIT: our beautiful puppy died May 1st 2020. This company killed our puppy and put our other 1 year old dog at risk. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I receved a sweet little chihuahua about a year ago through puppy travelers. I was truly scared once I found out who I was getting her threw but there was no going back she was already in transit and on her way to me. To my surprise she was perfect i took straight to the vets for a full exam she passed with flying colors. I want to say thank you so much for keeping my baby girl happy and healthy. She is such a sweet heart.

Im giving this company 1 star only because I received my puppy but if I had to it would get ZERO stars.On Tuesday night, I picked up my pup at 11:30pm. The next day, a friend of mine called to let me know that she saw a segment on the local news station that a van from Missouri with numerous puppies was raided and a 9 puppies were seized due to illnesses from upper respiratory and pneumonia symptoms. Not only was this story broadcasted on our local long island news but the New York tri state area.I also believe that the puppies were not properly cared for on the almost 24 hour trip to NY. I immediately called my vet for him to be examined. My puppy is fairly healthy right now, but the vet said he was dehydrated and gave him some fluids under his skin. Now its a waiting game hoping that he doesn't not get sick from the neglect from this transportation company.If you are buying from a decent breeder (not a puppy mill) in Missouri please make sure the breeder uses a reputable shipping company and not this one. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

So happy ! My NY babies have made it safe and sound! Used a new transport company and very impressed, less than 24 hours total and delivered ! Happy healthy puppies. Last company we used picked up on Sunday and delivered tue - wed . This is a huge improvement.

Don’t recommend this company to anyone!!! They told me they put puppies from different breeders together in the same crate to transport. They do it to save them money. Way too much risk for spreading diseases, kennel cough, etc. Sending my puppies with them is not an option!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!I will join in with the other reviewers and plead with anyone who reads this to NOT even consider this company for transporting their pets. I also received a puppy who was healthy when she left her home state and sick when I got her home aprx. 36 hours later. We are still in the testing phase with the vet and thankfully my puppy had her first round of vaccines and it is not parvo but she is still very sick at this point. If you see this company pop up as an option for ground transport for your pet, RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! Had we known, we would have driven halfway across the country to get her.
