DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! At first we thought the shop was great and Cody was amazing. Since then we have learned that the bird we got was not given proper stimulation and room to explore. It had an acute since infection that may have caused neurological damage. We where told it was six months old and almost weened. It was not almost weened and the vet questions its age.

We went to both the Neosho and Joplin locations, and we received the best customer service! My wife and I ended up buying a cockatoo, an African grey, and a tea cup poodle between the two stores!You knew the animals were treated well because of the care Tanya and Devin showed and they knew so much about the individual animals. This store has a very customer friendly atmosphere. I love coming in here to see what unique animals they have. The staff and their Manager, Robert, are very friendly and attentive to their customer. Robert even let my niece hold a huge parrot. She absolutely loved it, Always an awesome experience.

Tonya worked with me from the moment I walked through the doors! She was friendly and informative and you could tell she loves the animals in the store. All other personnel were easy to talk to and I came home with a beautiful new addition to our family (King Charles Cavalier). Thank you Noah's Ark Pet Shop!

This place is the best! Went in just for crickets and fell in love with the Great Dane! Oh my he is gorgeous! Thank you Noah's Ark for your A+ customer service. It was such a truly exceptionally fun experience!

Went to pick out a puppy the place smells the first dog we looked at was obviously blind I pointed out to the guy he got rude, I pointed out to him that I needed a special dog I was epileptic and was gonna send the animal to be trained a blinded dog could not help me so it was very important for him to tell me the truth he got rude and told me he was not going to argue I wasn't arguing the dogs eyes were completely blue glazed clouded over I again explained what i needed the animal for he didn't seem to care and was very rude I expect more out of people that are suppose to be selling people animals that could be their best friends or save their lives instead he was rude. The lady was very nice but the guy was not. I'm not trying to be rude but hopefully this gets handled and changed instead of a lame excuse.

I was excited for the small town pet shop feel of the store, but have had poor experiences with the shop.I have taken my dog, a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever (looks like a Cocker-sized Golden), to be groomed here. I wanted her trimmed like a Golden, and although I thought I was clear that I did not want her shaved, when I picked her up, they had shaved off all of her fur. I understood later that they thought I had to agreed to it, but their plan had not been communicated to me. Everything turned out ok because it was the summer, but I would not trust my dog to them if I didn't want her shaved again, I don't feel like they have groomers experienced with different breeds.In regards to their stock selection, I have discovered that they do not have many varied options. I once needed to pick up some dog treats, and they only had two kinds, both overpriced. I have been pleased with their fish section. I have a gold fish that I bought from them that has lived for over a year now - but I've always found the white ones with gold spots lucky.

Was hoping to find my new favorite store. Unfortunately I didn't. The odor about knocked me back out the door. I was in search of a fish product. Didn't find what I was shopping for, no biggie. Had to leave after just a few minutes.The store left me with a negative impression. It may have nice staff but overall cleanliness & conditions were discerning.

This place is a dealer for puppy mills. Save your money and buy directly from a breeder or save a dog from the pound. My son and his girlfriend bought a husky from this place, the puppy was over two pound underweight, took him to Midway Vet in Neosho(first visit is free), I told my son the puppy had worms and kennel cough (HIGHLY contagious and can be deadly), vet said yes he has worms, but no not kennel cough. So, I gave the vet benefit of the doubt, but the puppy wasn't better a week later. So, my son took him back and saw a lady vet at the same place.... once again , she says no kennel cough, just a cold. Five days later three of my four dogs are sick... coughing, fever, diarrhea, and puking.... I took them to my vet, Animal Clinic of Sarcoxie, my dogs now have kennel cough, had to get them all medicine, and they are getting better. My son is now taking the puppy to another vet be a use OBVIOUSLY Midway Vet has NO idea how to care for dogs.... OR they have a deal with Noah's Pet. Either way = you getting screwed!

We purchased an Amazon parrot from this business in Feburary, 2017. We were told by staff that this was a healthy, 6-month old animal ready to be weaned.We have since been told by an avian veterinarian that this is an animal that has suffered severe neurological damage— it will never be able to properly climb, walk, and will have to be hand-fed for the rest of its life. The vet also told us that the scaring on the parrot’s beak shows clear signs of a serve, chronic sinus infection that likely lasted for years; the vet suggests this bird could be up to 10 years old.So we were told by the store we were buying a healthy 6-month old parrot. We were told by the avian veterinarian that we were sold a special-needs fully adult bird with permanent neurological damage.0/10 would not shop here again.

I had looked for a pearlscale goldfish for over a year. I found a great selection of goldfish, including a pearlscale one, at this store.I was impressed with the selection of animals at the store. They had several different fish, reptiles, and birds. They also had all kinds of rodents and dogs and cats.

Almost twice the price as other's and very bad luck with every fish I have purchased compared to others . Mostly the high prices and lack of murchandise is what has me not coming back. I will stick with petsmart in Joplin. Taking advantage of being the only pet store in neosho is my best guess.

This is the WORST PLACE. We paid 199.00 to purchase a new xxl kennel for our dog. We had to pick it up the next day when it came in. It was USED AND STILL HAD DOG POOP ON IT!!!!!!!! This is CRAZY. Got a new crate for the dog. Thank you for making for making things right

Best experience I've had thus far. A few months back they had a very rude woman working in the Neosho store, however recently they hired some new people and they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the animals.

The owner is insanely rude. He started a screaming match with me because I said the dog he claimed to be a Yorkie looked nothing like a Yorkie. He said "Well, then you obviously don't know what a Yorkie looks like". I told him I have a Yorkie and thats when the screaming match began. Now, I have taken my dog to their groomer because mine was full for the next three weeks. Her appointment was at noon. 3 and a half hours later, I called to check on her and the groomer hasn't even touched her. She said she was stocking shelves. It took a little over four hours for her to finally get back to us. We picked her up and she looked awful! Uneven and nothing what we asked for and she charged us way more than she said it was gonna cost. When I asked why, she said that she bit her. I would bite her too if you left me in a room for four hours. When we dropped her off, I asked if we could stay because she does better when she can see mommy and she said no. I will never go back there for anything at all.

I called neosho ark asking if they had a pug but they informed me they didn't. However, they said they had a Puggle and a Boston terrier, so I went in to see the puggle. They answered my questions and helped out much more than I expected, needless to say I took home my Puggle. Thank you Karren!!!
