Clean, stocked and full of customers! Miss the associates. Wish there was more interaction with customers. All the associates are to busy working on sales floor to pay customers any recognition or respect for shopping there. Then it's self checkouts and only 1 lane that is backed up if you want a cashier to ring you up. Which makes it difficult for handicap people who can't move hands very good to ring themselves out. But who wants to stand in a line of 7 buggies full of groceries for 12 items!? I just deal with the pain and cry going home.

They would not take a return with proof of purchase and receipt. The item was in perfect cosmetic condition, within the time frame for the extended warranty and malfunctioned continually but intermittently. My review will be spread on social media as well as across the community. Folks buyers beware walmarts claim to easy returns is FALSE.

My husband and son stop by to purchase their hunting tags this morning. My husband was born and raised in MO and is a veteran with 21 years of service and 100 % disabled and lives out of state. When he went to buy his tags he had to call me for our son’s social security number. There was 3 associates, 2 men and 1 women. They were arguing about whether my husband qualified for the residence tag which according to regulation he does. The 2 guys said he qualifies and that they would check he is a resident but the lady was determined to not sell my husband the tag! She was arguing with the 2 guys she worked with while my son and husband stood there. If you do not know the regulations call another Walmart what a disservice you have done to not do the right thing. Arguing in front of them with your coworkers is unprofessional. What a shame! If your position is to sell hunting tags then know the regulations. If your position is to not sell the tags then let the ones trained sell them. Do better Walmart.

Very small Walmart. They did do a remodel about 2yrs ago but actually took away from the grocery isles and added more clothing ??? The isles are extremely tight.Very little gardening supplies, even though they have an outside garden area.Over all selection of products is very limited due to the size of this store . The closest super Walmart is about 28 miles away.Needs to be converted to a super Walmart. Enough small towns in area that could support one.

Cashiers are friendly, there is pretty much everything you need if they don't have it there are other Walmarts close within 3p minutes away

This store and many like it only have the bare minimum.They only have it for a short time then run out and never restock.The Auto service is also Trash. They like to wash your engine down with oil when you go there to have it changed and leave it for you to clean. Great job guys.Thanks!

Kind of a mini Walmart actually. But they have your basics. The West Plains store is three times the inventory but the customer service at this location is in my opinion First Rate and should be the company's standard. -Update- 03/19/2024 ... Location has been renovated..store is definitely more organized and clean and seems to stay that way.

I avoid Walmart at all cost. When the "pandemic" hit and they were doing card only and not giving guests change in return, it validated my original opinion that they act like crooks. They probably made hundreds of thousands of dollars by not offering people the change DUE TO THEM. So if I absolutely HAVE to go I will but I avoid it at all cost. There was no coin shortage where I live. I'm a bookkeeper. My work was never affected.

Although small, the customer service is a lot better than your average larger city super Walmart...the selection; especially when it comes to fresh food products- i.e. fruit or vegetables and meat, is seriously lacking anything really. And by that I mean they don't carry it. Not just sparce variety.Nice little hometown store for the most part.

I came into store to get some headache pills and the lady at the register named Jennifer with short blonde hair is so beyond rude she just slammed the pills down on counter top and didn't even tell me how much just stares all rudly at me till I looked over to see price myself and hand her money and she just rolls her eyes gives me my change back and turns away if you hate your job that bad quit not take it out on people that come in to shop. This not the first time I have been in this store and have had to deal with her rudeness

Stopped for a quick bite at this Arby's. Lady running the drive through was awesome. I could understand her, she communicated well and was very helpful. She sold me on the prime rib cheese steak, boy was it good. Try one. You won't be sorry. Stop at New River Valley store. Great folks.

Terrible customer service today wouldn't let me return ink Cartridge I just bought a hour earlier saying it felt empty even though I just bought it and was wanting to exchange it because I got the wrong one and it would work. Manager wouldn't help either. Update after calling the corporate office and them getting in touch with another manager they took the item back.

I went to my local wla- mart in mountain view mo. I was shopping for a Christmas Tree. After searching the very small section we have available to us I found a tree I wanted to purchase....it was 7.5 ft tall and 50 in diameter for 99$..... score....I had decided to buy this tree. It was the only one left. When I get to the register I'm told it was a black friday blitz item and they couldn't sell me it. What happened to consumer rights?... customer service?....The product was on the sales floor, with a price on it.....I was a Store Manager for 20 plus years, good customer service, would have sold me the tree at the marked price. I didnt wander into their storage and demand they sell me something from there. This was on the sales floor.....I called corporate who doesnt care about customer service....so I will no longer be spending one penny in wal mart in mountain view...the lady was rude and indignant and clearly not qualified for the job she has.....karen the store manager sold me that tree. We called and she sold it to us. Thanks Karen train your team better.

This is our go-to store for almost everything. Not always fully stocked. Self-checkout has plusses and minuses... helpful staff. Parking is a mixed bag.
