Was at the shelter today to adopt a dog and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a hard job they do there that would be challenging for most people who are dog lovers. While I was there today, there was another woman there surrendering a sweet 1 y/o pit who clearly had just had a litter and she was keeping the 13 puppies and surrendering the mom - even before she was done nursing. I can't imagine working at a place where I had to deal with people like this on a daily basis. Kudos to what they do at the shelter to try to give these animals a second chance.

I personally do not understand how they can call themselves an animal shelter when they do not have food available for people taking care of cats that are stray that they want to keep as pets. At least the food bank gets pet food there, but it is few and far between. Why would people that specialize in animals refer people taking care of animals to the food bank for people? That’s like stupid. You would think that they were smart enough to come up with a food bank for animals at this facility, then I would give them a better review. They may take care of animals, but they’re bedside manner leaves much to be desired.

At first they seem like really good people to deal with kennels are clean dogs are nice and clean room I was very pleased at first and then we brought the dogs home let alone we got told their house trained kid friendly and neither one of those are true they did not go outside to go to the bathroom they kept going in our home they tore it furniture and Floors and then when you go to return dogs back to the shelter they get very rude with you and blame you I would not recommend this place to anybody

Just adopted the put/mix 'Bear' today & we had a GREAT start on the ride home, he's a rider! Thank you so much for your work & a super affordable pet adoption program!

Thanks Christina for calling me back today. I went to where I thought he would be. A creek and woodsy. I called him and he came right to me. I appreciate you for that and appreciate the heads up on that issue.

Clean environment for the animals. The cats and dogs look good. Prices aren't bad. Friendly customer service.
