Store is fairly clean. A lot of empty shelves, very minimal selection of merchandise. Not sure if the Halloween Candy was leftover from last year or if they put this year's out early because they needed to have something on the shelf for customers to buy. Also saw a few seasonal items they are still trying to sell from last X-Mas

The staff is always friendly and greet customers as they enter the store. There are always employees straightening up the aisles and stocking shelves. Good atomospherw and usually a pretty quick trip, they are great about getting customers in and out.

Lots of variety at this store for a decent price. We have 2 of them in Maryville. They also sell smokes and tobacco at the register. Good place to go for couponing it's clean an kid friendly has cheap toys and all kinds of seasonal stuff for every season.

This Dollar General Store is located in a residential area close to Northwest Missouri State University & is ideal for students to get to easily enough for things they need. It has food, clothing, laundry & cleaning supplies, a toy section, prepaid go phones & music players, some electronics, room heaters, shoes, health & hygiene supplies, paper goods, notebooks, loose leaf paper, school supplies, pet food, books, children's activity & coloring books, children's toys, kitchen & bath/shower supplies, home decor, occasional birthday/wedding/illness cards & supplies. Located better than the other Dollar General Store & is quite spacious.

The south Dollar General store in Maryville store always looks and smells cleans you very seldom fine the isles blocked cuz they are trying to put their truck away unlike North Dollar General their isles are always blocked or they maybe just cuz they have boxes of clothes sitting in them. For the help South Dollar General they are more then willing to help and when they check you out they explain your receipt to you and ask you to fill out the survey at the bottom but a the North one they aren't that willing to help or they don't even explain the receipt to you and they don't even tell you about the survey. It's sad that there are 2 stores from the same company but one store I guess does what it wants too and the other one follows company policy.

Will never go to north dg again, not friendly, talk and make faces when they think you cant see. Didnt explain the pay pal card until purchased even tho i asked questions first. she didnt know how to help me with it and when i said i wanted to just get something else it was to late i cudnt get money i loaded to it back so was stuck with 150.00 loaded on a card she picked for me when asked for loadable cards. First she shouldn't suggest something and not know what to do, and should have explained that once loaded theres no refund back b4 i purchased it..somehow i became the "pain in the ass customer" thats what a person i know said they said as soon as i left and didnt know i knew this them.

The cashier was very unfriendly and when asked for the bathroom key so my 4 year old could pee, she responded with "well I guess" and yes we were shopping and bought things.
