ATTN SHAWN CHAPMAN I would like to HIGHLY COMPLIMENT the Store Manager: Jerry at the Maryland Heights location on Dorsett. I went into the store to make a purchase, it had to be delivered to the store at a later time, I paid for the purchase and left. I went back to pickup the parts….only to find out the employee who initially waited on me ordered the wrong product. Ok no worries until I was told I needed to more $ and again wait for the right product to arrive again…..I requested to speak with the store manager. Jerry came up I explained the situation and he offered a heart felt apology and reviewed the order….re-ordered the CORRECT parts, I came back at a later time and before I could leave Jerry inspected the products… YES they were correct this time! Jerry your professionalism was very much appreciated!

Used to be great, then they got a new crew. About a year ago I went in and the two reps were talking in the back with the radio blaring. After 20 minutes I walked out. Today I was insulted by a rep. I only went to this location because there was no parking at Bridgeton. Never returning.

Walked in 10/31/23 @ 5:25 to pick up some antifreeze. I go to the counter to pay for it and I ask the young man was his register open? He replied no! So I proceeded to put the antifreeze back at walk out the store, he got active and say hey man I was going to… I didn’t hear the rest because I was out the door! I guess his being cool or whatever that was, is far more important than making the company he works for some money! I hope management sees this and checks the cameras

The website says they will change out headlights. Went in to get a headlight, 4 grown men sitting around doing nothing, looking like they're falling asleep, dude says they don't change out headlights. I said that's not what your website says. He states that they don't do that at their store. I guess this store shouldn't be in business since they don't even know their own obligations to customers. Then he had the audacity to comment on my gender. No dude. Get a new profession. I went to AutoZone, they changed it no problem.

I just moved to town from a arid climate where rain is a rare event and as I left work realized I needed some windshield wipers. Mine were non existent. I drove to O'Reilly and asked the young man for the wipers for my car. As big drops of rain were starting to fall, He kindly offered to help me put them on as there were 4 different components that only one worked for my vehicle. I would never have figured it out before the downpour started. His name was Jared! Excellence in service!

Went in for check engine light help. Assistant store manager said they cannot reset the lights anymore. Ok policy changed I get that but asked if he knew where I could get it done and he told me nowhere. I just haven’t driven my car enough and I know my care has to specifically have the light reset after work is done on it. Making it difficult since I did a home repair. Just asked a question and he was so rude. All the workers looked at me Iike I was a problem for being there.

Went to buy a new set of new headlights for my 2014 ford edge. Staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Clint installed the lights for me. Great service and great place to get parts.

They are always so helpful and typically have what I need, plus they are convenient and easy to find. Store is kept clean and tidy, as well as fully stocked, so no complaints here!

Hats off to staff who can remain calm with a difficult customer and turn to the next customer delightful and with a smile. My only concern with this trip is the item purchased was more expensive than the label had on the shelf. Also, location is tough to traverse when heading west on Dorsett.

Paul acts like I have no idea what a car is. When I have literally taken apart my engine and rebuilt it. The people up here do not care to help you in fact it’s like you are an inconvenience for them.

Unprofessional staff. I arrived one evening recently to find three employees at the counter and none were in uniform. Furthermore they were all eating dinner.. Everything from Chinese to Pizza. The counterperson that helped me was even spitting dip while processing my order.

After a bad experience with CarQuest up the street, I made a quick online order so I could get my items contactlessly. Called the store and spoke to Sethe, explained the situation, and he was able to get me in and out in about five minutes. Great service, great job, guys! Would definitely recommend!!!

I went here to pick up done parts for a lawnmower. The guy st the counter was rude when I asked for help finding stuff. He obviously did not want to help. I brought with me the parts I needed snd one of two were wrong.

Needed glue for my rear view mirror, it says thirty minutes but that's a lie, went back next day and gave me new glue and told me to wait 48 hours. Worked. Thanks

It was alright, nothing special like when I go to Troy Illinois O'Riellys. Morgan there is always helpful and goes out of her way to make sure I know what I am doing. Did not get that quality of service, but still nothing was bad.

They're a little out of my way but 3 closer auto parts stores either didn't have my car battery or wouldn't install it, AutoZone helpfully pointed out there's a Dobbs by them! O'Reilly's has my battery & had it changed quickly!

Walked into this location and asked what was the correct reverse bulb for my vehicle Wyatt completely looked into the computer system and told me the bulb I needed I get home incorrect bulb so I went back to store and asked another store associate what size bulb I needed he looked into computer system and gave me the correct size bulb I felt first employee which his name is Wyatt was being Racist he didn’t even wanna show me which aisle the bulb was in

Husband ordered a part for his vehicle, they ordered him the wrong part. Returning it was easy. They didn't have the right one in stock, we had to go elsewhere. I bought a license plate cover for as a gift, it had skulls on it. They had some neat stuff like license plate borders and LED lights. I'd go back for something simple.It made me pretty mad that we had to wait for the part to ship to us and they ordered my husband the wrong part. Being out a car because of their mistake was really inconvenient and frustrating.

I just dropped in to this store to get my honda keyfob battery installation. The person who was at the counter got my key and started pulling it to open it. I told him that there is a screw and youneed to take it out to open. He said OK and said that he is going to find a screwdriver that could work. He checked with someone at the backside of the store and then was roaming around the whole store to find a screw driver. He was not able to find one. It took more than 10 minutes to search a screwdriver and he never got one. He came to me and said...sorry we don't have the screwdriver to open the key fob. I came out of the store and was relieved that he didn't try to open my key fob without the screwdriver and break it. Not going back again... and I will tell my friends about this and let them decide whether they want to go or not.

Most Helpful staff that I have ever seen. I purchased two batteries for my cargo truck (I use it for my bread route) at another O'Reilly's near my home. I keep my truck in Maryland Heights. I brought my batteries and truck to the O'Reillys to borrow a wrench for the replacement. When I got there the clerk (former Army vet) offered to help me with the replacement. He removed the cover to find that my battery posts were rusted and corroded. He and another clerk (Rich) worked tirelessly to remove the batteries. I cannot describe how stuck these batteries were! Whoever previously installed the batteries didn't anticipate how their exposure would weather all the connections. While the two clerks were working on the removal of my battery an off duty store employee (Eric) stopped by and lent expert advice, action, and the right tools to unstick the batteries. They were able to remove the batteries and then they even tried to remove the battery jumper wires to save me a few bucks. The jumper wires were essentially welded on from heat and use. At this point another clerk (Heather) happened to stop by and set me up with all the correct hardware to make it work. Heather then lifted both combined batteries at once and carried them out to my truck for installation. I was in shock and awe! Heather then used her own tools to custom fit the the available wires to the battery posts. At this point Eric cleaned the connections and connected all the wires correctly.I am amazed at the helpful, knowledgeable, tireless, staff at this store. I hope that anyone that wrote or reads another review sees my post and is aware of just how helpful these people were for me. I cannot thank them enough!
