My husband and I plus our dog had a nice relaxing stay for his birthday. We enjoyed pizza next door at Philly's and breakfast at the Rooster. This was our dog, Daisy, first outing without her big brother and she did great!!! She really enjoyed walking the Katy Trail. She did not know what to think of the white squirrels though. We did visit Lake Creek winery and brought some wine home with us and enjoyed a stroll along the river in Washington. It was a much needed relaxing get away.My husband thinks it deserves a 4 stars since we did not have internet when we arrived. He is a tech guy and after some tinkering, he was able to get us up and running. I also found it a little awkward having to go through the bedroom, out the front door, to go to the yard and hot tub.

We had an awesome stay here! Unlike most of the guests we were not here to ride the Katy trail but rather to attend a week long National Specialty dog show at Purina Farms. While it was a bit ( 30 minutes) of a drive the ability to be somewhere quiet and away from the noise and bustle of the show was so great. We has also wanted to stay somewhere easily accessible to family living in the area and Katy Haus fit the bill for that as well. Super comfy bed, great shower, the awesome complementary coffee and wine, nearby wineries and the special care these hosts took of us in rough weather made this the ideal place to spend our week and we would come back in a heartbeat if we need to visit this area again. Oh yeah-the pizza joint across the street rocks too!

Beautiful and very comfortable and clean place to stay between riding the Katy Trail and visiting the local wineries and breweries. The hosts were excellent. Less than a block from the trail. Would definitely recommend!

This house was cute and clean and had everything we needed. My favorite thing was how close it was to the Katy trail. I started every morning with a fresh cup of local coffee (that our host graciously provided) and went on a 10K walk with my dog. It was absolutely lovely. After doing 19 miles in 2 day the hot tub was the perfect way to relax.

We always have a great stay here! Extremely comfortable, amazing bed and shower, and perfect location if you want to bike or hike on the Katy Trail. We also love how close we are to thrift stores and antique shops!

Such a sweet little place to stay! So many things to do nearby. We are hoping to return and highly recommend staying here. If this house seems too small, check out The Bank Haus just down the road! Picnic and playground area just around the corner too!

Perfect place for a low-key weekend getaway right by the Katy Trail. Central to MO wine country & close to Hermann, Washington & Augusta. Comfy bed, great shower, stocked kitchen, plenty of closet space & a sweet front porch. This beautiful little house is right off the Katy Trail ... so convenient since we were touring on our bicycles. Not only was it cozy and welcoming, but the coffee, wine and doggy bowl for fur babies were wonderful touches. One of our most memorable stays on the Katy Trail!

I rented this home along with the Bank Haus next door to use as spaces for our bridal party to get ready. My husband and I got married at Boone Monument Village just down the road and this couldn't have been a more convenient place! The groomsmen got ready in the Katy Haus and it was just enough space for them all to hang out before the big day. The house all so many amenities, fully stocked kitchen for cooking/eating and the area is just so cute!

We came to spend a couple of days riding the trail and visiting wineries. The house was perfect. Less than a block to the Katy Trail. The owners were first class in providing details about the area. The house was clean and comfortable.

My family lives in the area and I come home yearly to see them. Normally I would stay in a hotel but decided to go a different route this time. LOVED it. The house was lovely. The owners were lovely and the local contact was awesome. It has a little restaurant right next door, a grocery store within 5 minutes of the house and the Katy trail park up the street. There is also a car wash right behind the restaurant. It is an easy drive to Washington or Warrenton.

The Katy Haus is an absolutely awesome place to stay! It's actually bigger than the pictures show. Spotlessly clean, with an amazing shower and a luxurious bed that puts the Westin's "heavenly bed" to shame. The kitchen was perfectly appointed, with everything you could possibly need, including a Keurig machine, colander, corkscrew, cutting board and pizza cutter, besides all the standard kitchen essentials. Very comfy couch, with great TV. Close proximity to Washington grocery store, nice wineries, glass blowing and gin distillery in nearby New Haven, etc., plus Katy Trail only a block away. I'd give this place 10 stars!
