Menards rebates take advantage of you. Heres a novel idea, just offer items at the lower price and do away with the rebates. Rebates are a hassle and sucker you in to returning to the store to use the rebates. Thats assuming the rebate isnt lost or stolen in the mail.If you return an item that was purchased on a rebate and you don't have the receipt.... You get a refund for the Sale price or clearance price of that item.Menards know most people aren't going to use their rebates anyway. So you end up paying higher price. if they really wanted to give you a fair price they wouldn't do the rebates scam.

I ordered klearvue cabinets for a project I'm working on to try and save a few bucks, and the only thing they got right was the box sizes. I had to leave the project 2 days in a row due to missing parts. I have 6 identical rooms to do and if the first set weren't already installed, It would definitely be worth more to get whats needed on the first try somewhere else. It cost me 500 to leave on those days. Not to mention messing up my time-line.

This location is great! Staff is super friendly and helpful, and things are easy to locate. The store is clean and well stocked. Nice change of pace from trying to navigate some other stores and being frustrated trying to find things only to find lack of options or items out of stock!

This location is a little out of the way for me but I had to try it. I have hear great things about Menards and I must say I am very impressed. Huge selection of building materials. The staff was very friendly. I was very impressed by their selection and see why people like Menards over other big box stores now.

Didn’t find out about a 25% restocking fee until I had already dropped everything around back and was back at customer service. Completely ridiculous. Manager didn’t even give me a minute of time. This will be my last trip to Menards.Update 6-23-2023…emailed the manager (Brandon) , said they would look into it. Haven’t heard a peep to date.

We used to be Lowe's folks until we dropped by here last Saturday. They have everything from tile to groceries. Each of the interior construction sections along the left side of the store has a nice green neon sign above. There is a wide variety of cabinets and appliances in the back and a grocery area in the middle in case you missed something at the market. The patio furniture and garden selections are both quite extensive. Menards is always running deals like their 11% rebate on everything. Needless to say, we have hopped on the Menards bus.

Manchester Missouri location: The girl at the checkout lane with the long eyelashes was not friendly at all! She wasn’t even the person who waited on us! I don’t know what her problem was, I certainly hope she figured it out!!! Sorry we even had to walk by her..Thankfully the lady who waited on us was very friendly and polite.

Cannot judge Menards too hard, because I didn’t buy anything while here. Just came here to look at an air conditioning unit. The store was clean. Nobody offered to help us find air conditioning units, so was lost for a little while. We asked the guest services if they could refer us to someone who could install one. They said that we could call the department and they could recommend us to someone locally. We did find that a portable air conditioner was cheaper than a window unit.

I purchased a bathroom shower surround + pan, and a glass door. The sales man didnt know to warn me that the shower door would not work with the surround I purchased. Thankfully after opening the box, I quickly realized it was wrong, and they allowed me to return it and I purchased the door that would work. The first shower door was a foot taller than the surround.

Happy employees make GREAT customer service and that's what I've always experienced at this store. I always get help fast to find what I need (but usually don't need to ask, since things are well located and marked).Generally has fair-priced, quality products at lower cost than equivalent items at other box stores.Best customer experience today when--as I found out later--I was helped by the Assistant Store Manager, who was very courteous and unnecessarily carried my ladder a long distance through the store to the check-out!

Another typical big box store, but this place is generally well organized, clean, and easy to navigate unlike others. While they are somewhat understaffed, the people that I manage to locate are always super helpful.

I have spent $10,000 at this store and today they screwed up big-time! I have several projects planned and I will NEVER spend another cent at Menards. I purchased a gas powered auger and had bolts fall out of it. I figured it would be a simple issue to solve. Boy was I wrong! I have to take it to a service center at MY expense! It MIGHT be covered, but if it isn't, I have to pay to get it fixed! I will go to Lowes or Home Depot from now on. Those other projects? It's over $50,000 and you just made sure I will tell everyone about my experience. Sure, Menards is so big they won't notice me, but I promise I will cost them in sales. I am contacting the Attorney General and letting them know about this business practice for sure! Good day and fingers crossed Menards goes belly up!

Great store, great prices, unengaged service staff. Waited an hour for Steve to get in to rekey a lock we wanted to buy. Steve only works from 230pm onward. Once Steve arrived, and acted like an a**hole because he was impatient and didn't realize we had already picked out our locks and put them on the millwork desk, he set to work.Steve quoted "half an hour" to acheive said task. Here I stand, nearly 2 hours later, in front of the millwork manager, Tyler F, while some dude and Steve shoot the s*** and the manager just ignores all the other customers.I've had great experiences at this store in the past but I'm unsure that I am ready to spend a ton more money and time given the general lack of care about what's going on.Maybe it would make sense to cross train a few employees on more common skilled tasks so all your eggs aren't in one basket?

Customer service is exceptional at this store. I have never met anyone there who isn’t helpful and nice. The store is so clean and I almost always leave with something interesting, unique or helpful. I have bought appliances, lighting, plants and decor from them. All have been great.

It is so dangerous for me to come here because I have a use for ever single item throughout the entire store.....so I walk around aimlessly for an hour stuck in a trance or just drawing a complete blank as to what I should purchase...I didnt show up with a plan because I was just returning something then leaving....yeah right...que the random hour of just grabbing things and putting things back over and over, until I have a random collection of merchandise that equals almost what I have on the giftcard they gave me for my return....here's some of what I got in one of the pics I posted with this rating....have a good menards. 🙂🙀🙂🙀☺️

I was there for blinds and rails so there were young man name is Harrison and Connor helped me a lot they were really patient and accurate with cutting rails also the most important thing is they can listen client and were really respectful. I hop Menards going to hire more employees like them .

Great product choice and better prices. I like their 11% back in store credit. I like to use the credit to make the want (not need) purchases.The staff is wonderful, they are knowledgeable and very courteous.

When I went to menard a family member asked a employee on measurements of a countertop, but the thing is the family member couldn’t speak English that well so it was our fault for confusing the employee but just the way the employee acted just made me mad, they were making faces and acted like we were wasting their time. It was so rude like I know employees are human but the face they made was immature

I just purchased multiple items including a top of the line paint brush. When I got to my car the paint brush was not in my cart. The cashier said she never took it out of the cart and I must have lost it in the parking lot. The service center had the same tough luck attitude. I spent over $5000 at Menards over the past year and they don’t value my business enough to offer a $20 brush replacement 30 seconds after I purchased it.
