Maggie does train and play at Kirkwood location, this was her first time boarding . We were welcomed just as we are every day and this made her feel very welcome and freely went back for boarding. She is exhausted now that she is home after a fun weekend stay! I loved her report we were given knowing she had no problems and ate all of her meals! ThNk you for taking care of our Maggie Mae!

After moving to St. Louis, I struggled to find someone willing to groom cats. This is understandable because my cat is 15 and an absolute nightmare at the groomer. I’ve had places call me, mid groom, and ask me to come pick her up.She is a Persian though, and, due to her age, is unable to keep up with grooming herself. Even with daily brushing, she still needs a little help from a groomer.Kennelwood suggested a scissor cut instead of using a razor, and did the cutest cut on her. She wasn’t terrified, and behaved much better!They also do a wonderful job grooming my Shij-Tzu and lab/retriever! I definitely recommend for your pet’s grooming needs! Just be sure to call in advance, they book up quickly.

Great service. My dogs love going here. I also take them for training. Greg is an amazing trainer. Highly recommend him for training. He is great with your dog and yourself. He makes a point to help understand what is going on with your dog and how you impact your dog behavior.

The groomer was very pleasant and was good with our puppy she explained she didn’t do sone things as it was his first trip to the groomer which I appreciated her taking it slow with him. It was a good experience. We gave taken our dogs to Kennelwood in the pastThanks for your care

Took our dog, Nestley, here for grooming today for the first time. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. He had a recent bad experience with another groomer, and today was 1000% better. Our groomer Lori was great, and made sure to spend time speaking with me when I dropped Nestley off, to make sure that all questions were answered up front. She also noticed his anxiety with clippers, and she was happy to use scissors for more of his cut than she anticipated would be necessary. He is now happily showing off his new style 😎

Very organized, kind people, and fantastic grooming. I am disappointed that they charged me $24 for hypoallergenic shampoo for two small dogs. I buy it myself and it’s not expensive, and what did they use? 6 tablespoons? I would’ve use 6 tablespoons of some kind of shampoo, and the price difference couldn’t be more than a dollar for both dogs. So I think it’s best to check prices carefully for every single service.

The bath and trimming of legs was fine , however I’m seriously aggravated that you didn’t trim his paws. He’s still sliding. Cause you didn’t trim them. I mean….should I have to tell you to do that? That’s part of the whole package we have. AND you did not use de- shed on him like we ASKED….. extremely disappointed

My dogs always have fun at day camp.This time I really needed to get them in due to a work commitment. 5 stars for the training aspect. Greg was fantastic, helped my dog emensely in what little time he had. And gave us humans the tools we needed to help our dog even further.However, very disappointed with communication. As a veterinary technician I was told we receive 3 weeks of training at no charge and a discount on training after that since we recommend them to clients and provide a lot of potential business for them. The problems start when they did not inform me that my 3 weeks of no charge training/daycamp was up, they texted me 3 days after and told me that I owed $270. I asked them if I could purchase a package that their website says is 15 days of train and play for $710, under the information that I would get a discount. I was then informed that I did not qualify for the $710 package because I haven't completed 6 weeks of training (nowhere does their website say this it simply said "for qualifying members") and that ONLY vets get discounts not veterinary technicians. I'm sorry but if a vet gets a discount, what makes them think a vet tech can afford $1000 every 2 weeks?Again I would HIGHLY recommend Greg as a trainer, I do not recommend kennelwood for daycamp purposes. It's very unfortunate how it turned out because my dog loved going here and socializing with other dogs.

Super professional upon arrival and greeted my dogs with love. When we picked them up to return home, the dogs didn’t look stressed at all and we even got a full report on their stay. We will definitely go there again! 5 Stars!!

We have an older dog who has been here twice now. He gets nervous when left and doesn't eat . One of the workers Emily went in and sat with him so he would eat. They kept texting me to keep me informed about how he was was doing.. They are wonderful!!!!

I found out today that there are no licensed groomers at this location . They should not be taking grooming customers if they are not actually licensed. I had to turn around and come back to get my dog an hour after she was there. Luckily I was able to do so. This is a big FAT no for me to groom my dog if you’re not actually licensed to do so

Kennelwood is an excellent place for both boarding and training. The staff is caring and diligent. You are always greeted with a smile and you can tell the staff loves working with pets. They take the time to post pics of the dogs in both classes and playtime. I am so thankful for everyone there!!!

We have used Kennelwood for many years, never a problem. Now we have a senior dog and is the only place I will trust for his care when we are out of town. He enjoy the daycamp, get his medications, we get pictures and updates of how he is doing daily. He is happy and we have peace of mind that everybody in Kennelwood is taking good care of him. I am a very happy customer that will keep coming back to use there services.

Left my 15-year-old cat at Kennelwood - Mason Lane for a week in August. He came back in better condition than when he went in. He'd apparently been brushed regularly and his coat was smooth and healthy. Although he was glad to see me when I returned, I think he enjoyed it there.
