We recently had to put down our little dachshund of 13 years. It was the hardest thing we had to do. The staff and Dr. Milhollin were so kind and compassionate. I will miss taking my little guy there for visits.

Dr. Milhollin and Dr. Spencer are great! They talk to my dogs while they're caring for them and call them by name as they're doing whatever. Both are always smiling and very personable. I love that it's all walk-in too!

It was okay. I took my dog to the vet because he couldn't hold down any of his food. The office was nice and everything. The prices were affordable. The Veterinary was cocky. I felt like he didn't really care and that he was there for the money. I didn't have a great experience. He did give my dogs two shots that helped. I will give him credit for that. He knows what he's doing but I didn't see the love for my dog.

We had a rare breed dog we wanted to breed so we could sell the puppies. They couldn't do the artificial insemination at the Macon Vet clinic and referred us to Columbia. We ended up at the Noah Ark Clinic did the whole procedure and we ended up where the clinic thought the mother was carrying 5 pups. Since we used the Macon Clinic for years they told us not to worry (LOL) they would be there for us when it came time for us to deliver the pups. I guess that was all talk and no action!!! When she started delivery at midnight we could tell she was having problems. So we called the clinic and the vet on call called back and didn't provide any ideas or asked to bring her in or come to the house. As the night progressed we made three more calls all returned but still no advise or help!!! Around 8 in the morning which was already way too late he said he would come out. Still did nothing!!! I had to demand him feel the mothers belly to see if there were any pups still in the birth canal. Half heartily he did a minimal probe. Due to their “will be there for us”, we ended up with three dead pups and only two that made it through the delivery. Due to their lack of help we lost $4500 because of the loss of the three pups. Never trusted them again and went to another vet. Noah Ark was great and if they weren't so far away we would have gone all the way to Columbia but I didn't think the mother would make it that far.

I took my cat there and when I arrived, I was asked if I needed something. Like what? I have a cat in my arms and you ask that? The cat was barely looked at, given an antibiotic and sent home. Now my cat is having emergency surgery as to remove something from his stomach. Which I made very clear as to the fact that he ate something and has not eaten or drank in 4 days. And the front office people were inconsiderate and acted like I was bothering them. Will not be back to them, EVER! If you work in a customer service field, then get the people friendly skills and this place has none.

Every time we take our Babies to Macon Vet Clinic they are always kind and very knowledgeable. We drive over 50 miles to come to a Vet that we have trusted for over 12 years.

Very professional and caring. You can tell the Dr genuinely loves animals and cares about his patient's. Even my Chihuahua Boo Boo never likes going to the vets office. I am completely satisfied with the services Boo receives there.

I recently lost my dog after seeking treatment with the macon vets office. My dog was seen twice. The second office visit I left feeling the issue was no big deal. I lost my friend 12 hours after seeking “treatment” a second time. Before this I would have said I had faith in the macon Vets but This was based on 10 year old experiences. I think ego or lack of knowledge by Dr. J.L. Milhollin is what caused my dogs untimely death. Not once was I told this is very serious you should run more tests, go to a bigger facility, or seek any other treatment other than a second round of drops. I don’t see how a vet with any experience can see a dog in the morning send you home with no warning of this is serious. It was give him this come back Monday if it isn’t fixed and my best friend was dead within 12 hours. The worst part they have refused to call me back or answer my Facebook messages. It has now been a week. No follow up of what happened so that they can protect your pet from possibly catching whatever they missed in my pet. The only thing they have managed to acknowledge is the visa transaction. If your pet is sick I can not in good faith suggest taking them to see DR. Milhollin. I hope this saves your pet from inadequate care and poor follow up service if your pet meets a tragic end
