Traditional supermarket in Licking that I appreciate going to as opposed to a Walmart. Not as much selection in the healthy/natural options, but you will find what you need. Deli and butcher are solid. Produce is a little rough and not as fresh as you may like. They do not sell any alcohol, but there is a liquor store very close by.Staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking.

Don't go to the deli! The oil that they cooked our food in was so burnt that the food was almost black. Every thing tasted like burnt oil. Rest of the store was nice. It's the only grocery store in the town though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Needs updating and the food definitely need to be watched to make sure it's not going bad can not tell you how many times I have been in a hurry and have gotten home with bad milk molded bread or fruit nasty meat it's sad I really want to support local but can't afford to waste money either customer service is always friendly and it's so nice to have it local

Well, it's the only market in town/area. Prices are reflected accordingly. Some good meat deals, veggies are way overpriced. Excellent deli with lots of precooked meals. Fried chicken and fish are my favorites. Small eating area,too. Friendly staff and a good selection.

Some of the produce leaves much to be desired, but you can find some that are not too rotten. There are days when everything is fresh, but often you need to pick through lots of partially rotten vegetables and fruit. That being said, they do have a pretty good selection of meats and canned goods. They also have a decent gluten free section!

The store is good in a pinch. All stores raise their prices, including WM, T & C raise their prices higher, which forces people to shop at WM. I went one year to get some potato salad to take to a friends house for thanksgiving dinner. When I get to the register, the girl says $8.99, I didn’t about it really, just paid her and left. On my way to my friends house I thought it “boy, that’s kind of expensive for a small container”. Went in the next day to check the price, it was $2.29, not 8.99. Like I said, only shop there in an emergency. I have gotten gr. beef there that was gray/green in the center,, but in all fairness, I have gotten some meat that was good. If they would lower there prices to WM level, I would shop there more often.......maybe.

they served animal flesh battered in the unborn infants of chickens. a meal that suits my tastes reasonably. and their wide selection of foods gave me choice, a virtue that is hard to find. satisfactory may be an overstatement but not many places are as good as this for locating food items.

After reading some of the previous reviews there was high hopes of this place being remotely decent, I was wrong.Rude and incompetent staff members, was asking where a product was located only to be walked across the whole store by a couple of employees. Finally make it to the check out line and the cashier and bag person are having a good conversation while I load my items on the belt. Idk, maybe I'm just kind of quiet or something, I just expected her to start ringing me up when I was full. No they finished the last bit of their conversation and then proceeded to help me.The prices people are talking about are by far not low, maybe the lowest prices in Licking... But you have Salem, Rolla, and Houston right next door and if you're needing a lot of groceries you're better off going somewhere else. They run these "deals" on 24 packs of soda... The price on sale is walmart static price of soda.

I always find just what I need here. While not as big as other grocery stores it is well stocked with most items people need- and even a few we don't! :) The deli is really good and the people go out-of-their-way to be helpful and polite. Grab a sandwich or a daily special at the deli and give the ladies a hello for me! :)

The best thing about Town & Country are the employees. I spend time chatting with the cashiers and others when I go in. It's always important to check dates on items where ever you shop. Take an extra minute here to inspect produce and dairy. This Fall T&C ended a club discount in favor of customer's requests for lower prices over all. It helps my budget a lot.

It's convenient but the prices are high. If you can, go to their larger store in Salem. The store is bigger, lots of selection and the prices are so much better.

If you're staying at Montauk State Park this is the place to go shopping. This is where you come to get all your Staples. It's the closest place to come to Montauk. Full-service grocery store and they all wear masks for the covid-19.

It's a good store for quick pick ups and sales but I wouldn't shop there for all my grocery goods if I have other options
