Went to celebrate grandson's birthday. Cheesy tots had a slice of cheese cut in half lying on top of the tots, not even warm enough to melt the cheese. Bathroom closed to the public, which is difficult for kids who little bladders. And ordered ice cream only to be told after waiting that they're out of ice cream. No, these aren't life-altering issues. But when eating out costs so much, I expect better.

Every time we get food here at this location something is always wrong. They even asked for the food back when they are not supposed to after COVID happened. This past week I asked for the new chocolate covered strawberry shake and they gave me a plain chocolate shake. Their onion rings are always burnt. I honestly don't know where all the good reviews come from. And I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews. But the only reason I keep going to this location is the lack of options in this town. Service is friendly, definitely not fast. But the food is just awful. Horrible presentation. Burnt buns. Dry chicken. Tasteless burgers. Found a huge grayish yellow chunk of banana in the bottom of a milkshake once. The tots are mediocre, often overcooked or insanely salty. There's a reason I don't go often.Update: as stated before, I only go to this location because of the lack of quick options in Licking. This is my #4 bacon cheeseburger toaster. Supposed to come with bacon and a onion ring. This is pathetic. My husband's chicken sandwich was literally two tiny pieces of chicken shoved into a soggy bun. Shake machine has been broken for at least two weeks. Couldn't finish my tots cause it was like eating a handful of salt. Honestly, this is just sad.

This Sonic, Oh man... The food is good, no issues there, but the service in the mornings was crazy, the staff was either short handed or was dumb as a box of rocks. The orders were the same every morning for weeks but the prices were different, one morning the girl could not even give out change.. We were always in a hurry to head out to work and the hotel had no breakfast, so we had not choice but to head here, dreaded it every morning and it became a running joke.... But the coffee was always good and strong and the food was always good. I ate there in the evenings after work and had no issues, was just in the mornings... Oh well...

Unbelievable! 20 minutes for 3 drinks! 3 drinks and two of them were wrong! Everytime! Everytime we go to Licking Sonic this is what happens! These are supposed to a cherry limeade and a cranberry limeade. They are strawberry somethings. Not sure.

Nothing special to report as I had pre-ordered on the app prior to arriving and checking in once I got there. As usual it wasn't waiting for me to arrive. I waited the usual 4-5 minutes as the app kept telling me that they were STILL preparing my milkshake and half priced slushers that was supposed to have been waiting on me to arrive. I gave my waitress her top as I loaded my order into cup holders. She was smiling, apologetic and sweet so I thanked her and left. If you're in a rush I wouldn't recommend you getting your expensive drinks here. I would recommend ordering on the app but don't rush getting down there, you'll most like have to wait like I always seem to do.

Pulled in and waited forever to get food. My mom is diabetic and had ordered a tomato to be put on her burger. No tomato, push red button and get put on hold for 5 minutes to tell them about tomato. Car hop (Zoe) came out and said there's nothing I can do about it since you at most of it, you guys have a good night. Completely rude! Just bring the tomato out instead of not fixing problem. No napkin or receipt with order. Worst Sonic in the area. Whoever owns it needs to hire better help. Don't even deserve one star!

The breakfast burritos were not hot the cheese inside wasn't even melted. No salsa or salt and pepper wasn't told there was none or ask if I would like any. The cheese on the tatertots was barely melted at all. Good thing I brought it home to eat and have a microwave and salsa and salt and pepper. Licking Sonic needs so serious management help.

We ordered French toast sticks which were wonderfully hot and fresh. They tasted so good. But we ordered a xlg iced coffee with extra caramel.. It was so weak we couldn't taste coffee or the Caramel. Was just colored water with no flavor. We are addicted to these drinks so know what they should taste like.

What can you really say? Sonic isn't the best place to eat period.. but the employees are pretty friendly and most of the time my order is brought out in a timely manner. I only ever get the double cheeseburgers and a drink here but they're both always very good.Things that aren't good about this place.. so many of the screens are messed up and have been for some time now, so they need to fix those. Also, Sonic needs to lower their prices a bit.. it's insane how much things cost here, but people in Licking will pay their prices since it's the only major fast food chain around.If you truly want great food, good service, and fair prices then please go to Hoods Frosty Treat on Main Street.. you'll not only be supporting local small businesses but you will really enjoy the food and prices.

I ordered a "#3 meal" (that's how i said it to the worker). She asks "fries or tater tots", I say "fries". She says "anything else?" I say "an order of jalapeno poppers..." and order the rest of my food.I get to the window, get the meal and say "Where's the drink?" SHE SAID I HAD TO ORDER THE DRINK. I said..."but... it's a meal, it's a combo, with fries and a drink" and she says "yeah but you have to order the drink too". This was at 5 pm-ish today, Saturday, October 29th, mousy blond girl with long hair and big glasses (in case management wants to know).Really, Sonic? Literally the first time I've EVER heard from Sonic - and ANY other restaurant, ever - that a drink isn't automatically included in a combo meal. Girl, you messed up my order, don't try to pin it on me and make it my fault for not ordering. That's your job.I won't be going back to this Sonic, apparently the staff aren't aware that meals include sodas, or the staff can't admit when they F up.

They did great at getting the drive through orders through quickly. The car in front of us had a large order and we only had drinks so they brought ours out before the car in front of us so they could move people through even while waiting. Good drinks!

The BEST sonic within a 100 miles hands down. The were quick to get my order the kitchen time was phenomenal and delivery was pleasant. My card would not run on their machine and the manager was going to give us our meal I appreciated that but I ran to the bank and left her $ 10 tip for the customer courtesy!
