Our Dollar General Store here in Licking is a very clean and a well kept store. The employees are very nice while they are also very professional. I enjoy shopping there because of their friendliness and their willingness to help you find whatever you are looking for. And usually when I am shopping there I will run into other friends who are also shopping.The employees keep the store well stocked. It is always neat and that is very helpful when you are looking for a certain thing. It is such a Blessing to have this store in our community and I am very thankful that we have it to shop in. I hope that people appreciate it enough to shop there for their needs and to pass the word about this store and its employees who are there to help you. Give it a try please. You will see that it is a very well- stocked store.

Their is never NETHING stocked.i knw they get new adult coloring books but they always have all the older and not the new ones what's up with that...??????Oh yeah my Dotson wiener love them twisted dog treats u all had.,, 😒😥NOW THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THEM NE MORE WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO THEM BELLA IS SO SAD ABOUT IT...😟😒😥👎

Out of the other 3 surrounding Dollar General stores this one has a great cross section of items that one doesn't usually find at D.G. The overall atmosphere is laid back and the associates are both helpful and friendly. I mention this because being friendly and lazy or helpful and hateful doesn't really cut it and I have encountered both. So what I am saying is this is a good store, go shop.

It's a decent Dollar General, the employees are always friendly and the place is fairly clean. The only issues I have are that sometimes there is no one at the register so you will either have to wait until someone shows up or you will have to go looking and calling out for someone. The other issue (even though it's not a huge deal) is why can't the self checkout be used? I don't think it's ever been used at all.. so why even have one? Other than those small issues it's very nice to have a Dollar General in Licking.

I went there to pick up my FedEx package,oddly my rural address is not on google maps. But DG in Licking is a FedEx location.Staff was so friendly there, I stayed and did my shopping intended for Walmart there instead...lol

Had nothing I was interested in and had to hunt down cold water in a cooler that was behind Sprite. The worker said the town only drank Pepsi or Coke. We were the only custermer in the store and never tried to help. LAZY! Never want to go back ever.

They take their phone off the hook that’s why it’s always busy if you call. I think the current manager was getting bill collectors calling or something very personal....they lie and say it’s “phone issues” but I can assure you it’s bwwn going on now for 2 months and they would would have had it fixed by now. Very sketchy..

I shop a lot at DG and am always pleased. The prices are good and I much prefer it over Walmart but today I was shocked when I bought Folgers coffee ( had to have it) $7.50 on sale for 180 cup size! I usually buy a 240 cup size , somewhere else, for $6.99!! Come on DG..I won't be buying coffee there ever again. Mostly I am disappointed.

Have a little of everything. Some things are best to get elsewhere,but there are so many of these stores that it makes it easy to get in and get out non matter where you are so you can avoid the big busier stores.

Fast and friendly staff and w wide assortment of items to purchase. It's a nice place to get common items quickly and cheaply, without having to walk around a huge store.

My wife went to this store with her service dog which is chihuahua by the way and was told to leave they told her they were terrified of the dog, it only ways 3lbs. They are rude,unhelpful, and down right disrespectful of seniors and the law for that matter, I would travel 20miles to the walmart in Houston where yhey respect people and local laws.

This store is like a mini walmart for this area. It has the essentials you need for everyday. Saves you time and money so you don't have to go to the next town over.
