Took our mini goldendoodle to get groomed here & instantly regretted it. THE GROOMERS NAME IS SKYELYNNE. The first pic is what she looked like before her haircut. We asked for short on the body (not bald) but keep her face fluffy. It’s so choppy all over. She has random chunks where she’s completely bald. One side of her neck is way longer than the other. Her legs are cut choppy& not even. The hair cut overall is not even, there’s random long pieces of hair, & some that are bald. You couldn’t see all the mistakes & at least tried to even her out so that her haircut could be decent? The service my poor pup received was terrible. I paid for full service groom which includes hair cut, bath/dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, scissoring around the feet and paw trim. I didn’t even get half out that. I noticed her face still had a bit of dirt, so she wasn’t even washed properly. I could tell my dogs nail weren’t cut, I had to clean around her ears when we got home(the ear wax was still there), the hair around her feet weren’t cut either, & paws were not trimmed they’re so hairy still! $79 down the drain just like that, & now I’ll have to pay more just to get her fixed. All I ask if for a refund, money lost on something I didn’t even receive.

Definitely don’t recommend this location. Will be driving to north oak, recently visited where they had a bin of mixed toys listed for $5.98 when it rang up a different price I asked if they would honor the price as there were multiples in that bin and later was contacted by the store owner who said there was another sign on the bin that we just couldn’t see. Which is strange, as the clerk removed all of them from the bin, and didn’t see a different price sign herself. Dishonest owner.

Convenient place to wash your dog thoroughly. The facility works well at a reasonable cost. Our dog didn't love it, but he would have preferred to go on stinking of whatever he found to roll in while running the woods!

I’ve been bathing dogs for my clients at all these locations self washes for over two years. Last Friday, Todd told me I had until June 1 to rearrange my clients into different locations as they were no longer going to be allowing this which which is fine. I had gone to liberty to do the bath that was already on my schedule. Since it was before June 1, I didn’t rearrange it as I didn’t know I was supposed to. One of the at the store was extremely rude cornered me in the self wash and extremely rudely asked if I was grooming him for “that man”. He told me that I had already been told not to groom at the location, which was false. I’ve been told by the Leawood location that this was going to be taken into affect June 1 nobody from liberty ever told me however I assumed it applied as of June 1. He was extremely rude had terrible attitude and told me he didn’t care what Todd said that wasn’t his store and I needed to leave and If I was seen in the store again, I would be told to leave. It’s not like I had been there forever and made a mess I didn’t clean up. I used all my supplies, clean up everything including what was next to me that I didn’t use and was quiet and helped everyone in the bathing area Who needed help or had questions. Never in the two years I’ve been grooming any of the locations has anyone ever complained to me about Groom? All of a sudden they want to treat me as if I haven’t been coming and paying money to use the tubs and buying pet food grooming supplies etc. as well as having my clients stop there. Im not taking any of their clients im supplying my own, etc.. There is no reason to be treated this way as I have done nothing to them, and I am very upset about it. Pet Supplies Plus will lose my and a lot of my clients business. I don’t steal your clients I supply my own I work specifically with people who have dogs that are anxious, surrounding grooming. most of the times corporate stores don’t even take these dogs. as for being a trained professional. I am a dog trainer and groomer who specializes in aggression and anxiety, as well as carry my own insurance that is blanket wherever I go for any dog in my care. I’m there maybe a few times a month. I’m sorry this is so threatening & “disrespectful” to your company as you are a well known chain and I’m a single person. I don’t even advertise at your location. Simply use the tub. Clean up and leave. Pretty sad that you treat people how you do. Also, if Todd isnt a part of your franchise, then it should’ve been one of your employees who (kindly) informed me that I would not be allowed there anymore since he is not a part of your chain he does not speak for your store. This should’ve been on you & never was I informed by YOUR store not to come. Hopefully you treat your customers better than you treated me.

Our doggo loves to visit this location and pick out treats from the bakery display. The staff is super friendly and the size of the store is not overwhelming while still having everything you could possibly need. Their delivery and curbside pickup is super convient as well. We love that the owners are local are frequently on site to greet you. Our favorite pet supply store in KC.

This location is a franchise store. They charge you MORE for the same services found at the Gladstone and other locations. This wasn’t explained to my wife so she ended up paying 3 TIMES the amount she usually does for the same services in their corporate location.Poor store policy, jacked up prices.. well go to a different pet store from now on.

Went to see Angelica the groomer this morning. She did amazing with our yorkie/Maltese mix. I can’t rave enough about this place. She did exactly what haircut I was looking for the first time and a fantastic one at that. The products used have a very fresh and clean after smell that is lasting well. He has very thick fur and pads of his feet are super soft after his first visit. After trying another place in town that was twice as expensive and normally received an ok cut. Obi never wants to stay in the store and today he did. She loved on him and made his whole day. Very reasonable prices and great staff. Very clean and friendly. 5 + stars P.S horrible photo he stuffed his face in every toy bin in the store

This was our favorite store in Illinois. I keep trying, but had another terrible experience yesterday. Sometimes simply saying "I am sorry, that squ number doesn't match the Web site description" works. I would have said, "that's okay stuff happens". The clerks were fabulous and friendly, the managers here? Wow! I did manage to find the millimeter size and length in my email and found something elsewhere to keep my boy from pulling away and getting in to danger.4-6-24Today we picked up dog food and the young man that brought it out was both prompt and very polite!!

Staff is super friendly. Store is always clean. They sale mostly U.S. made products. Groomers are professional and do a good job. One of my pets hates getting groomed. He was not anxious at up. He was relaxed. Great sign that we found the right place.

Edited to add: The owner has since reached out and apologized. I have great respect for a business that can admit their shortcomings. I understand owners cannot be present 100% of the time and things happen with employees that are out of their control. We will return to give them another shot.Although this store has a nice selection of items, sadly their rude employees and poor customer service outweigh the positives. We were recently in the store on 7/29 looking for a bark collar for our dog. When we asked to see the collars in the display case, we asked the difference between the two that were debating between as one was twice as much as the other. No one could really answer the question, but the employee (her name was Amanda) informed us she didn't like either one and would instead recommend one with a remote. I explained to her that this would not be best fit for us as our dog barks when we are away and would not be present to use a remote. She continued to expound on how she didn't care for the options the store caried. At first, we decided to leave the store without purchasing as I wanted to do some research. We decided to quickly return to buy one of the bark collars as we needed it that day. She was not kind when we asked for the collar and then could be loudly talking poorly about us to her fellow employees as my boyfriend walked out of the store and commented that, "When it doesn't work, its their own fault. I warned them." It's sad someone with this kind of character seemed to be leading a team of young girls. A poor example to other employees and a huge deterrent to current or future customers.

We are first time pet owners and this store has been our lifeline. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful, and willing to take the time to answer our questions or make recommendations. The size of the store is perfect - we are in and out quickly if needed but they have a ton of options if we want to compare brands of treats, food, toys, etc. We also really like their rewards system and their satisfaction guarantee! We haven't tried their store pickup or recurring shipment options because we're still discovering what our new puppy likes but we will certainly be doing so for the convenience and the cost savings! Did I mention they have a groomer AND diy pet bathing?! This pet store is just perfect. I will never go anywhere else.

I love this pet store. I didn't even realize it was a nationally franchised chain with 500+ stores because it feels like you're shopping at a small business. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful, they take walk-ins for grooming, and regularly feature adoptable cats from a local rescue. While the same dog food I sometimes buy at PetSmart is priced a little higher here, I routinely get 25% off coupons in the mail so it actually ends up being cheaper. I've made this store my top choice when picking up anything for my dog!

The only downside was they were a little short staffed (only one employee when I was in there) but given everyone is having issues finding people, I can’t dock them for that. The customer service was great, very patient young man. Fairly priced & if I remember right, they may price match? 🤔 don’t quote me on that! 😝

I am giving 2 stars jack needs to be fired. Will I was with a sales rep. I heard him trying to accuse someone that wasn't in the store of racism to a black customer with a dog.He needs to love his job l, more then coming up with story's and lies about someone else to a customer.
