Blackthorn Antiques is one of my favorite places to visit when we spend a weekend in historic Lexington. Our family has been driving up from Kansas City for years. The owners, Steve and Nancy, are warm, friendly, and engaging. They care about their customers and their town. The quality and selection of their merchandise is outstanding. Pricing is reasonable and appropriate.On this latest visit to enjoy the historic churches tour, Holiday parade, and Anderson House tours, we first parked our car on Main to see what was in Blackthorn's windows. To my great delight, there were two gorgeous lamps for sale! Guess what ended up in the trunk of our car?! Thank you again, Nancy and Steve!

Love this place! We stop by Blackthorn each time we visit Lexington. The owners, Steve and Nancy, are welcoming and the store is beautiful. They have quality merchandise at reasonable prices, and they always go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied with their purchase. Blackthorn is a top notch store and well worth the drive from Kansas City. I’d recommend this store to anyone looking for quality pieces and kind owners to work with!

Steve at Blackthorn Antiques is always a true pleasure to work with! His selection is phenomenal and he is very knowledgeable in so many of his products. He sells items that are very genuine and top quality. Steve keeps an invested interest with his serious buyers and notifies them of potential items that they may be interested in. It's definitely worth the hour and a half drive for us, to visit him and see what new items he has in the store.

This was one of our favorite shops on the stretch of lovely boutiques and shops on Main Street in Lexington. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed seeing his amazing book selections and the beautiful furniture selection. A must see!

We had a great experience at Blackthorn Antiques. What a beautiful store. And Steve and his wife were so pleasant to talk to. Steve was highly knowledgeable about everything in the store. I have always wanted a cuckoo clock. He had two on the wall ticking away. One was older with a deer head. It was from the World War Two era, and was all wood except for the mechanical parts and the bone hands. Made in Germany. I really wanted it but it was a rare piece and expensive. My husband set up with Steve and his wife to buy it as a surprise for me and made an excuse to go to Lexington saying he had to pick something up. Steve and his wife worked with my husband to open the courtyard door at the back of their store. I had no idea that's where we were. Until we walked in. What a wonderful surprise. And Steve's wife was so excited to be a part of this little secret surprise. They went out of their way with everything, giving us plenty of info on the clock and the name of his repairman in case we ever had trouble with it. The pictures of the clock is where it is hanging in my dining room. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Go see their store at: 1115 Main Street Lexington MO 64067

I LOVE this antique shop! Though it is an hour drive from kc, it's very worth it! The store is full of interesting, fun and pretty pieces. I'm partial to art deco and nouveau and can always frind something I'd love to have. The owners are very knowledgable, and friendly!
