Great Place❣️❣️I was too sad to take pictures, but I wish I had. The entire staff was so nice. The website gives a thorough explanation of all the services and the place looks just like the pictures they post. I left my “road dog “for the weekend, typically she goes with me whenever I’m in the car. So this was a huge adjustment for us both. I came to pick her up thinking she would run into my arms with joy and excitement. She ran past me to a treat display 😂😂. Clearly she had been well loved and didn’t mind taking a break 😀I couldn’t ask for a more perfect reunion. Or a better endorsement for the care Summit Pet Care provides.

I have been taking Hank to Summit Pet Care for about the past month and we have had such a positive experience. They were recommended to us by someone from the shelter where Hank came from. He was initially nervous to leave me, but now he is so excited every morning to go and whines with excitement when we arrive. The employees know him by name and always seems so happy when I pick him up. I love following their Facebook page to see all of the happy dogs! I recommend this place to everyone I know, especially talk it up at the dog park for all of the other parents with energetic dogs! He comes home worn out, which I love because I know he got to burn some energy and getting socialization. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Poor communication, and lack of transparency from the staff. We paid for doggie daycare and received 0 updates nor could we find our dog in photos from the weekend. Asked for grooming and it wasn't done. Was given the implication that they would provide grooming as a courtesy when we called to mention it wasn't done while he was there and was charged full price on pick up.We have doubts about the service provided and feel scammed.Edit: we picked him up on a Monday, grooming should have been available. Phones not in the yard is not an excuse for no update. Report card you mentioned in reply was not given. I would call but frankly you just offer excuses and don't accept that bad service happened Or offer to make things right.

The only place I'd ever consider leaving my babies for boarding in KCMO! This team is kind and thoughtful and always goes the extra mile to make sure my pets have the best (and safest) time possible!

The disconnect of communication of policies throughout the facility from owner to staff made itself very apparent today. My 10 month old GSD has been going there for a couple months. He is still intact due to the recommendation of my vet and numerous breeders in the area, until he is 2. He has spent numerous days there in daycare. He’s spent up to 6 days in boarding AND he’s been groomed. Not once has anyone informed me, until today, that he cannot attend because he’s not neutered. This is extremely frustrating, as I had very specific reasons to get him established into a place he could go a couple times a week once I return to work next week. I even bought a daycare punch card, and the only reason I’m giving two stars is because they refunded me for the prepaid card.Edited to add: I was never once questioned about it no one ever commented about it and he had been there multiple times and even groomed. It’s Hard to believe that the staff there didn’t know. They just either chose not to say anything to me until the owner found out or maybe didn’t know the policy. But in any case guess who gets screwed, me and Max.

I used to always board my dog here when I traveled, the staff was great and I never had issues.Something has changed. My last two experience with boarding were poor. Both times they lost his personal item, a blanket, and he came home sick one time with a bad cough. Being told "just stop bringing blankets" was the final straw, it showed a complete lack of ownership of the issue. My dog loves his blanket and burrowing into it, that's his safe place.I've started using other options for boarding. The cost for alternatives are much higher, but to me it's worth it.

If there were 10 ⭐️ They’d get them ALL!! SPChas been a life saver for my G-doodle pup & I.EVERY one from the owner & staff have HEART! They love& understand animals. I TRUST them with my (4 legged) kid !!!We also switched to using their Groomers too. We have CONSISTENTLY gotten EXCELLENT haircuts!! 5 for 5 on FANTASTIC grooming results. I’m picky too!! The counselors are always happy to see my boy & Auggie is ALWAYS up for a “daycare day”! SPC is our home away from home & we LOVE them!!

I went here last week after a frustrating afternoon of just trying to get my pup’s nails trimmed. The staff was all wonderfully kind, the facility was clean and upbeat, and as I was talking to the receptionist about trying to find my pups grooming home after recently moving to the area, other customers waiting told me I’d found the one! I wholeheartedly agree, and while I just went for a simple service (that was quick and reasonably priced), they treated me like a forever customer which I intend on becoming. Thank you Summit Pet Care!

Both of our dogs absolutely love playing at the daycare facility. They receive superb treatment from all staff. We have absolutely no qualms about leaving our dogs for a couple of weeks when we go on vacations. In fact, they get super excited when they see us getting out their boarding items because they know they are going to have a fantastic time and be spoiled rotten by the time we get back.

I’m so happy I found Summit Pet Care! Yesterday was the third time my dog Honey has been to day care. Honey loves swimming and I know she has a blast every time. I wish so badly they had a web cam so I could check in on her but they do a great job taking pictures and videos. Can’t wait to take her back again!

We liked taking our dog here and always had a great experience until one day. We dropped our girl off for daycare and when we picked her up, she had gotten a not so great report card for the day with a trainer recommendation attached to it. Let me be clear, before this visit, she always had wonderful remarks. We also noticed several other people received a card with the trainers' information attached.This gesture was in such poor taste that we decided to seek a new facility. Sorry, Summit. There are better marketing tactics that don't involve false pretenses.

Never again, picked our dog up after a week of boarding and she was hacking and coughing( Aug 2023). She got kennel cough and we were not even notified she was sick. They require Bordetella but they either do not check records carefully and or clean/isolate dogs that get sick. I understand things can happen but the fact that the ones that look after the kennel do not care enough about the health of the dogs to notify anyone of them throwing up and coughing is incredibly sad.

This place is a joke! I’ve worked in customer service for years and I’ve never met a more condescending owner/manager (Jody). I called a week prior to make sure I wouldn’t be charged a late fee for picking up my animals past 1pm. I was reassured I wouldn’t be charged, so to my surprise I was charged $40 for each animal when I arrived past 1pm. They refuse to refund me even though I was told I wouldn’t be charged by their OWN STAFF. I will never go again. In addition, my animal had a bloody mouth/nose when I came to pick him up, and nobody told me what happened. Terrible experience, do NOT recommend.

I had been a customer of Raytown-Gregory boarding for 25+ years, they no longer board pets. It was with great trepidation using someone new, shouldn’t have been worried! Our fur-babies seem to have been taken care of very well! No worse for wear😀 We will gladly board there again!

I took our nee 18 month old dog here that we just adopted a few weeks ago & we have went once a week now. He loves this place! Several coworkers recommended I try them because I was so anxious about leaving our new guy home every day while we were at work all day through the week. I am so glad I did. Linda, the owner spent 30 minutes on the phone with me telling me all about the facility, daily routines and made me so comfortable. Saturdays are even available for a discounted price if you have plans or want to get your dog out & exercised. The staff are all very sweet & they send home a detailed report card on how your dogs day went! My dog is tired when he gets home, and I feel so much better knowing he had interaction & attention during the day! I highly recommend this place for your fur babies! You wont regret it!

Very friendly staff. Rory loves going here to play and had been since 2016/17. They do charge you for Sunday boarding even if you pick up that day, but are upfront about it and other places like my vet don't even offer Sunday pickup so it's a nice option. The office is closed on Sunday so I get it. I moved out of LS and I still bring him here because I think they do such a great job.

Got an appointment for my cat a month and a half in advance for a grooming appointment. Dropped my cat off 9 am and he wasn't ready until 4 pm. He was there for 7 hours in a kennel without food or water as they said that it's first come first serve and they never communicated to bring any food. Which makes no sense on why they would make appointments in the first place. I asked for a regular trim and gave them specific instructions on what I wanted and then I got my cat 7 hours later with a buzzcut. Worst service ever. I'm never going back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience!!!! Incredibly clean, welcoming and professional facility. The pricing was exactly as I was told when I called to make my appointment. The grooming they did on my dog was PERFECT, absolutely no flaws and my doggy looked like a million bucks. I appreciated the fact that I could get my dogs updated shots while he was in for his grooming, extremely convenient to have the vet right next door. I highly recommend this business to anyone that is ready for a high quality stress free grooming for their fur baby, without that high dollar price point ;)

Our Saint Bernard stayed here for a week and no complaints here! The grooming was excellent too, they even got the wadded hair behind her ears!
