!!!DONT BUY THE FISH!!!Im so dissatisfied right now. I have a beautiful multi-colored goldfish and got 2 more to add to the tank. When I was picking the goldfish i pointed out how one looked like it had Ick (white spots disease that kills fish) and the employee told me it most likely wasn’t and so I bought the fish. Today one of my fish is floating and the 2 others have white spots. When a customer points out how a animal looks sick, the employee should focus on the care of the animal rather than the sale. I will no longer be buying fish here since they always come sick.

They were very friendly and helpful when I was looking for a pet mouse today. I wanted a female and they only had males, but they went through a great deal of effort to help us find a place nearby that sells female mice. I will definitely be coming back if I have any other pet needs in the future.

I booked a grooming for my Lili with Rylee. She cancel twice during the past week. I did understand...we all have emergencies.Finally, I took my 13 years old Lili at 1:15 pm today. I went to the store at 3:45 pm to picked her up and Rylee said...she is not ready. Come back in 2 hours.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.I said " give my dog back NOW".I am furious!They did nothing on her...worst service ever!.IT WAS ANIMAL ABUSE.My Lili was thirsty, anxious and sad.

I’m very upset with my grooming experience. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for years and never before had a problem. Today, picked my dog up and they said, “She was a bit of a brat.” For $76 I would expect better. I’ve groomed her at home ever since I adopted her also and she LOVES being groomed. I fear she was treated poorly also. She’s been shaking since she was brought home. I will never bring my dogs here again.

Take care of your betas!! I have found 4 dead ones the past week alone! The cups are dirty stuck to the shelf because they haven’t been moved or cleaned in who knows how long. They have algae and old food in them…several betas are swimming sideways. These are living creatures and deserve humane treatment.

Knowledgeable staff helped us properly plan and prepare to take care of our new cold blooded friend. They had several bearded dragons to choose from and all the supplies that were needed to give him a cozy habit in his new home. Very pleased with their prices, selection and helpfulness!

We take our pup Cooper to them for grooming. They are super friendly and Riley does an awesome job with him. You can just tell she really loves what she does and the animals she works with!

We had to unexpectedly euthanize our amazing dog, and just before we did, we expressed to the vet that we had always wanted to do DNA testing on him. He took some cheek swaps and told us not to wait or it wouldn't work. Desperate and blubbering, this is where we stopped on the way home. It appeared they were out of kits, but staff literally stopped everything and headed off to search high and low...they found one last kit in a back room. We got the results back yesterday, and it not only felt like the little bit of closure we needed, the test linked us to several local siblings we didn't know about. They could have easily let us walk out of the door that day, but instead they showed our family some real grace. They will always have our business and I will always be grateful for what they gave us back on one of our worse days.

Took my GREAT DANE to get a bath and brush. HE is a very big muscle dog. I asked when he will be ready & the lady said it will be around 5pm. I get a call at 3:30 an hour after his appointment and was asked to pick him up. I already had another appointment for my son. I told her I thought she said around w5. She said they close at 5. But the website says they close at 6pm. She called me again at 4:30. I told her I was close and on my way. Regardless it was annoying. I get there. My dog didn’t look like he had a wash at all. He still had crust in his eyes. His nose looked dirty. He smells and feels the same. I want my money back and I will never come to this location again! She lied and said she seen “video footage” of him getting a bath. Ma’am if I would have brought him back you will see he didn’t get shampoo! I know because I took him to petco and he smelt amazing as soon as I picked him up following your horrible service!Update: I tried booking at another location. I was block from booking. I called and asked why. She said my dog was aggressive and lounged at another dog. My dog is EXTREMELY HAPPY AND FRIENDLY. He is never around other dogs and is a big baby lbvs. He is a Great Dane! Pam said she would take the block off. I’m no longer interested in booking there anyways!! She wanted to go back and forth.Amanda and Pam do not need to have the jobs they have. They don’t know how to service big dogs. If you do not know how to service a bigger dog then say that before I drop him off. HE HAS NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AT ANOTHER LOCATION EVER! for you to make an accusation and say my dog is aggressive is BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL Because you are not a doctor to diagnose my dog in that manner! I will be writing a report to the corporate.

I went in for dog food that I ordered for my dog with allergies. Emily was very informative about which foods would be best for this. She took time with me, and explained things I didn’t know to look for with dog food ingredients. She also recommended a couple other foods I could try, if my dogs itching persisted. I feel she really went above and beyond, helping me. I would highly recommend this Pet smart for your pets needs.

The store associates were accomodating, friendly and helpful to me when I was there to select a Russian tortoise and purchase a starter terrarium & supplies in order to care for her properly. I had lots of questions about the tortoise and they were able to answer them for me plus give me a care instruction sheet. They helped me load the 40 gallon terrarium starter kit into my minivan and assured that I had everything that I needed for the tortoise. My young daughter & I are enjoying and loving our new tortoise! :-) She (the tortoise) seems to be adjusting quite well in her new home & with our family. 🐢❤😊

Bought an Oscar from here, and the next day noticed he was covered in ich!! Now I have weeks of treatment and water changes in n my future to make sure the rest of my fish don’t catch it.

Took my dog in to be groomed. They said 3-4 hours, it only took 1 1/2 hours. They did not shave his head, I asked just for his mustache to be unshaved. His shave was completely uneven. She asked us to come in early so she would have more time for my dog but by the time I get there to pick him up she already had another dog on her grooming table. I feel she was in a rush to get out, and didn't take the proper time with my dog. We had to re-shave him later on. They didn't even bath him. Worst experience 100% not worth the $50 that I spent

Fish care here is the stuff of nightmares, absolutely unacceptable. The one time I purchased a fish here it immediately got ich and infected and killed all the fish I bought and cost me $12 for medication and hours of my time spent doing daily vacuums of the gravel. Today I went here to pick up a few things and noticed two of their glofish tanks had fish with severe cases of ich in them. My photo is a little blurry but if you look you can see that one of the fish is absolutely coated in white spots, that is ich and most the fish in these tanks had at last a few spots. Notified an employee and was told that they knew and that "all the quarantine tanks are full" and they were being treated. Still up for sale though, no sign notifying customers that these fish are ill with a CONTAGIOUS DISEASE! Tanks here in general look more cramped than your average pet store aquariums... makes me want to get a fish just so i can test their water and see how bad it is. Do not buy fish from here. This is unacceptable, and if they're willing to sell diseased fish capable of wiping out your entire tank I can't imagine what other kinds of scams they're pulling. I don't think I feel comfortable coming back here. Go to Petco instead, they at least have the decency to put a little sign on tanks with sick fish that say they're not for sale.

Christina groomed our baby schnauzer. Did a great job and made him enjoy himself at his spay day. And in the pic before you think she missed hair by his ears...no I ask her to leave his horns as I call them.And Carli takes such great care of bathing and pampering my baby cane corso. You can see how much they enjoyed the day. The pic shows how much Carli enjoys her time with him and how happy she makes him.

I have been using the online order/pickup for canned kitten/cat food. I can order and pick up the same day. I do this with Walmart groceries, too. Having them close to each other is great. But I recently had to change my Petsmart orders to Independence location. We are using the Simply Nourish Kitten food. Nearly every week, they were low or out of stock. Even if it said on line it was in stock. I was having to drive to Independence to get through a week. Finally I just changed to a larger bulk order at Independence and go up there, it's always in stock there, even large orders. The staff at Lee's is nice, but they no matter how many times I mentioned the low stock on these items, no one seemed to have any interest or control. A girl's gotta feed her furbabies!

Took my dog in to get groomed on Wednesday and I was called to be told that they wouldn’t be able to complete the service for my dog. Apparently she was attacking the water hose and freaking out biting the water but not aggressive towards the groomers. Took my dog to another groomer who is 30mins away from us and they took video while bathing her and she did nothing like that. She is an American Bully and two years old. The sweetest dog ever. I definitely do not recommend there services and I also will not be shopping there again.

Cashier was really helpful advising on size of soft collar, and the fact that I could return within 60 days with receipt. She had a lab, like me, and felt the collar would be the correct size. Friendly, polite and efficient!

Unlike the competition, PetSmart carrys what most people want for their pet while Petco is now dictating what "they think people should be buying" by coming out with their own line of products at a higher price.So tonight I stopped in for Friskies cat food and Nutro dog food and now they don't even carry that now. So I made myself clear to the manager and employee's that this is nonsense. Two other people in the store heard me and walked out with me and left their baskets in the store.So to sum things up, I told them they just lost a $200mo customer. Have a nice day. I've found a brand new PetSmart that's only .5 miles farther away and carries everything I need. I spoke with a PetSmart employee and he said I'm not the only dissatisfied customer he's heard about and many new faces are heading to PetSmart!.

Don't know who's running the pet grooming at Lee's summit PetSmart but it's a big joke.I made appointment with them on December 3,2022 . For January 7,2023 they called me on the 4th of January and told Kelsey didn't work there anymore and reschedule my appointment for January 14 well 9:20 am Jan 14 they called me and told they would have to reschedule it again because they had me down for Kelsey again which they had already told me she was not there anymore. It shouldn't take over 8 weeks and making 3 three appointments to get my dog groomed. Now my appointment is for January 21. I'll see if it really gets done this time. No Wonder you can't keep help if you treat your customers the way as well as your employees.This place doesn't even deserve one star but that's the lowest they would let me give them

My roommates bought a cat, and they lied on the paperwork. They had said he was all up to date with everything, dewormer and all shot, they bring him home and about a month later they say he has intestinal worms and when they check the paper work it says he got his dewormer 2 days after they brought him home. It's not okay to lie like that about the health of a living being. Also right when you walk in you're greeted with a display of beta fish in containers the size of a vitamin bottle, which isn't right and they didn't look healthy.

I haven't been to satisfied with this location. I usually buy fish here. The last 3 times I have been in, and it has been 3 visits with in the last 4 months, the selection of fish is almost none. There has been dead fish floating around. The last time I was in, about a week ago, I asked why there wasn't much selection. The girl told me that she has to do an inventory count, and doing all of the counting wasn't easy. I'm sorry the last I knew when you do an inventory check, that doesn't mean you have no fish. It means you need to make sure that your numbers match. So needless to say, I didn't get an answer to why there wasn't much of a selection. Not sure if I will be back to this location
