Great pet store with all your needs. I have bought bearded dragons, snakes, frogs, hermit crabs, moon crabs and mice from here. All their animals are well cared for and bought from local breeders. If anything is shipped its through reputable suppliers. I get all my pets food from here too, never have to worry about getting tainted bugs or nasty pinkies. Never have had any issues. Been going here for many many years. Pam and them is good people, they'll work with you on getting just what you need. If they don't have it, they can order it.

The store was super clean. The lady was super nice and helpful. The birds were SUPER CLEAN. I even spotted birds I had never seen before. Prices are very reasonable. This little Quaker was very chatty and had plenty to say. 10/10 recommend for bird needs. It’s very very hard to find a store with a variety of bird needs and knowledge.

I bought a bird for the Valentine’s Day sale and the bird died a week later!!!! I’m going to call in the morning since I called today and either they weren’t open or wasn’t answering phones all day, but I bought a cockatiel for 175$. I did everything right. The bird stayed warm, had fresh food and water, got played with 2-3 times a day for less then 20 mins at a time to not over work it in the beginning. Was just fine the night before when went too bed!! I woke up and she was dead!!!

I went into this store today, February 25th, to see if they had any feeder bugs for my bearded dragon. Considering I was already there and never been there before I decided to look around. Not only was one of the workers rude but they also had a betta fish in a vase without any filtration system or heater. I’ve had betta fish in the past and know they require a minimum of 5 gallons for a tank, a heater, and a filter. They also had a reptile that was emaciated. I could not give them my business with good conscience as they are improperly caring for their animals.

Friendly. Clean. Animals are well cared for and while no, the prices aren't basement bottom cheap - I believe that's good. It means they're taking the time and money to take proper care of the animals before they come home with a patron.

I got a cage through them and it was way to dangerous for my hamster because she hurt herself in the cage and they refuse to take it back it wasn’t even used for 10 minutes and because they would have to knock it down half price because she was in it for even a minute I’m now out 60 for a cage they said would be great for my little friend. If I could give no stars I would in a heart beat this is the only store I have had issues and I will never recommend it to anyone.

I didn't go here, I think it's picking up my visit to The Ozz but I have been and I love going here. So friendly, a little more expensive than amazon but that's how brick and mortar stores stay open. They're knowledgeable and I wouldn't trust getting my Baby Beardies crickets from anywhere else

I bought a mouse from here and it was pregnant and had an eye infection and many of the other animals are left in tiny cages and usually under or over fed

Good prices on their pets had a hamster die in about a week and a half ago can't went there to get a new one it's been like 3 days since I've purchased it like up this morning and it's dead. They better either give me a refund or a replacement hamster

Every single time I go into this business the person working (I think it’s the owner) is so very rude. I want a small pet but I’m not picky so I had questions. She rudely answers the first question then ignores you/goes into the office area. There was a lady behind the counter but she knew nothing (not being rude, she was a nice lady). As much as I want 2 of their animals, I can’t in good conscience give that horrible lady any of my hard earned money.

Great people. Very friendly. Good prices. We purchased several mystery snails. They were healthy and had solid shells. In just a couple weeks we had our first clutch of eggs. They've been successfully breeding (consistently) since.

Worse place as far as return policy ever! My 10 year old grandchild worked hard and saved her money for a while. She wanted a cockatiel and this is where we ended up. Small store but nice at first. Kinda expensive but it's a typical pet store. When we arrive the lady was hand feeding the baby birds. We was very happy cause it was already very use to human contact. We have had birds for around 35 years so we're not new to them. The owner shows us how to do everything and my grandchild shelled out almost $300. Of her hard earned money. Got home first 2 days went amazing and his name was Dexter. The 3rd day Dexter died. With a heart broken 10 year old crying I wait a couple hours to call and talk to the owner. . . This lady was hand feeding the birds they breed and raise to sell right there in the store when we went then tells us when I called cause it's over an hour away that she can't do anything about it cause they have no mark up on their birds and don't make any money off of them. They just have them to have something in their stores for their customers. She asked if we had him in front of an air conditioner like I'm an idiot or something with her tone of voice. We have an older gentleman living in the home and he stays cold so the house is set on 74 year round so no, the baby didn't get a chill ma'am. We had him in his own container with a heart lamp monitoring temp cause he was a baby. She then tells me she thinks he caught pneumonia and that's what happened. Basically sorry about the kids bad luck but I'm not doing anything at all about it. I then ask if she decides to get another bird after she calms down and waits a while can she get any kind of discount or anything at all cause she worked,saved and spent her own money and I felt bad for the whole situation. Again, I get a no! Theirs nothing that can be done about it after it died not even 3 full days of buying him. Even PetSmart has a 2 week return policy on all animals and critters of whatever kind you purchase. They will even replace or refund a .29¢ feeder fish if it dies within the 2 weeks. Needless to say we will never do business at this pet store again. I have nothing nice to say about the manager and the way she does business especially with children involved. No return policy at all whatsoever is absolutely ridiculous! Also, we gave our child her hard earned money back cause that's not fair to her. This lady didn't even feel bad and acted like she didn't even want to talk to me.

I, personally, really do not like this place. They over price everything they sell, the animals are usually very unhealthy, to the point you can tell what animals are new and which ones have been stuck there with these women. The fish are usually on their last "leg", the birds are stressed to point they pull their feathers out, and the reptiles are slow, sluggish, and almost malnourished. The only reason I even go is because they're the only place close that sells feeders for my snakes.

This is the nicest pet shop I've had the pleasure of being in for a long time. They care about every animal they have for sale. It shows in the way they take care of them. Very healthy happy pets!Prices are good, selection is very good!I would have marked 6 stars if I could!

Just bought 20 gal aquarium outfit and am totally pleased. One of the owners Pam, was so helpful in getting the right setup. You may pay a little more than Walmart but, you get personal help from someone who knows what they're talking about. I could not be happier.

This is a smaller yet individually owned private business. That goes a long way in my book! Some of the supplies are a bit overpriced and may not have all the selection of some of the larger pet store chains. However I've always been greeted with kindness and have always been helped above and beyond my needs. This is one of our regular stops and one we look forward to going into for a visit.

Friendly staff, However my best friend had gotten two FEMALE dumbo rats and a bird from there. Two weeks later one of the female rats gave birth...Both the rats are GIRLS....Clearly they don't know how to separate female and male dumbo rats! About the bird, that poor sweet bird had its wings clipped wrong from there and now its having issues growing the flight feathers back! Not only that My friend had noticed that the conure refuses to let anyone touch his wings PERIOD like there's something wrong with them.

Small selection on some things but you can actually get live pets here. Price on dry goods is not too bad if your looking for treats or food. The giant parrot is turning 39 this year and I felt you should know that.

The staff is really nice, but their fish are ALWAYS sickly. I've bought many fish from there and all but one has died within the week. I spent about a month nursing my fish back to health. Every one I've gotten has had ick. They have dead fish in the tanks, which I know seasons the tank, but they shouldn't leave them out on the shelf. Even the betta fish, which are separated from the rest, had ick and some were dead on the shelf. I now will not get fish in town, but will instead go to the lake or Springfield. Their other animals are great, but they need to fix their fish issues.
