Really nicely maintained grounds. The grass is better than my lawn at home! The fee to camp is incredibly reasonable, the shower house was huge and well ventilated, and it's so fun to walk around and see the historic buildings, tractors, and trains. I would very highly recommend it!

Been trying to get there for years and finally made it this year. A fun place to hang out for the day and see every kind of steam and gasoline motor that was ever made. These people are amazing with the way they restored their equipment and customized as needed. The whole fairgrounds was an extravaganza. Everybody is super friendly and excellent food is available. It's held twice a year and I recommend you try and make both if possible.

Enjoyed bingo tonight. Love the people who work to make this a great place to play. Everyone from the caller to everyone providing sheets and verifying bingo's and the great people who run the concession stand. They are all so nice and always helpful. This is my favorite place to play every Tuesday at 6:30.

MOKAN HAS A TREASURE HUNT IN THE FIELDS THERE. THEY ARE ALWAYS CUT NICE AND THE RESTROOMS ARE CLEAN.👍

If you ever have an opportunity to attend any event held at the showgrounds you will not be disappointed.the keepers of this property do an excellent job maintaining all of the structures and it's always well attended

I visited the fair grounds for a motorcycle show that was held there.The leather and lace rally was a fun and entertaining event with bike games and contest. The fair grounds was nice and well maintained

This event needs to be published more in KC than just 35 miles up I-35 in Clinton County. My first trip up there six years ago I'm thinking that I am heading up to videotape an event that will have 6 or 7 tractors, a couple of steam engines, and 3 or 4 cars. Boy, was I wrong. As I approached and saw some high dollar RV's, not to mention several 6 to seven figured motorhomes, that the people who brought their antique tractors collection to display. It's the typical fairground atmosphere, funnel cake, homemade ice cream, root beer, BBQ sandwiches to nibble on as you visit tons of venders booths, the up and running sawmill, the rock crusher, the active barbershop and many other ammonites. This event is always held over Father's Day weekend and I think $7 for the entire 3 day event is the best money spent and dad, as well as mom will enjoy.
