While visiting my mother in Lampe, I shop here & was delighted to see the store's improvements since my last visit, more than a year ago. The store is well stocked, clean, & organized. The clerk, Violet is friendly, efficient, & helpful.I complimented her on the positive changes of the store. Thank you, Violet

All I can say is Dollar general really got lucky with their new manager they just put in the store. She has cleaned up the store so well within the short amount of time she has been here. Along with her staff another young girl that works in the morning time I'm sorry I did not get names but I do have frequent conversations because they are very friendly amongst the workload that they have to tackle. Their customer service is very friendly they're very attentive if they are not at the register they are always working hopefully Dollar general sees them to be a benefit and pays them accordingly to keep their store thriving. Good job ladies you deserve an increase in pay and you deserve to be told that you were doing a great job.

The manager in this store is absolutely the most rude person I've ran into. Not only do you have to wait five minutes at the counter for her to come to the register. It's like she doesn't even want you to spend money here! Very inappropriate attitude towards customers. What a shame for a small town.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! All the ladies and gentleman are so very helpful and just plain nice!!! Lots of good stuff!!! Including $1 items. Whenever I pass the store...I just have to stop, get a snack and of course say hello!!! Won't tell you what my favorite snack is, or else there won't be any left for me!!! HA! Thank you all for serving us so very well...very clean store and very organized!

Convenient, close to front door parking. Ample handicap accessible parking and easy touch less entrance. This is the crown jewel of Dollar Generals. Frozen food and dairy immediately to the right when you enter store. Huge grocery section. This store does not carry clothing(which is a BIG plus) so their home selection and o-t-c mess and personal care items is expanded. I consistently find cute decor seasonal items....DG has upped their game in this department. The store is always clean and it is well laid out. Helpful staff. Large handicap accessible bathrooms that are very clean

It is so incredibly hard to get around inside theas a blind person with a guide dog, I often leave the dog in the car of the person who brought me there, because it's hard enough for human to get around. But I will say that the staff are incredibly helpful!

Dollar General is my go to department store for a variety of things. They carry the same things as the bigger chain stores with comparable prices. The Clover Valley and DG brands are exceptional in quality and/or flavor.

They must be in need of more employees because they had stuff sitting in every isle waiting to stocked. Very friendly check out gal.

Worst DG of all time! If you get fired from Walmart DG in lampe will hire you! 8 people in line and the cashier wants to take his time and talk to everyone. Took 15 min to get checked out! Another day I came up to the store, lady outside smoking while she had 2 waiting in line and 10 others in the store. She comes in and ask "are you ready to check out?" Are you kidding, no these people just like holding stuff in the store in front of your register! Good grief. Its a circus and its ran by a bunch of monkeys!

You don't expect much and they don't provide much. They have found a niche in really small communities that can't support larger Wal Mart type stores and they definitely exploit it.

I live across the road not even 0.1 miles away and they still have to see my ID even thou they know me but other than that, it's a Great place, workers here are very friendly and helpful and they DO know where everything is at and if not they will help you find it.
