Love the fact there is fresh produce and the clothing is pretty much gone. It looks nicer and bigger. Knob noster needs and depends on this place so much. The fact they made it more accommodating for the community has been a big and welcomed change. No longer are you needing to drive to Sedalia or warrensburg to get the basic necessities

I was able to check out quickly here today. They do not always have the stock of what I am looking for, and are limited in the workers available. This would be more ideal if they allowed more workers available and ordered more of the popular items that run out of stock. Store managers should be allowed to order for their stores to keep them stocked. These issues are due to what they are allowed to do. The workers are nice but not allowed to be able to have the workers available to get it done.the customer service otherwise is great and are nice.

Not exactly the friendliest experience I have had but at least I find what I am looking for. The employees are hit or miss. Ive met some nice people and others who dont say anything to you at all. So I guess the customer service could be worked on here. Inventory was very little when I came in as well.

Dollar General is close to my home. Making it my go to place to pick up things in a jiffy. They also carry grocery items which is very handy. Milk, bread, eggs. The prices are a bit higher but you don't have to navigate a huge place. I like that on days when my bones aren't feeling to great. The customer services is top notch too.

Watched a cashier argue with a lady about a return...not letting her return stuff because of a mess up with their coupon app. Not the customers fault that the IT department can't get their app straightened out. Also, always boxes blocking isles. But being in a tiny town makes it a handy store if you have to go there.

The poor staff at this location are being put through what looks like total chaos. There are signs everywhere hand written stating "HELP WANTED." You can't walk through the isles because of all the boxes blocking everything. There is a smoke alarm in need of batteries so bad. It beeps constantly. I was there over a week ago and it was beeping. I feel so bad for the sweet kids working. This is a busy location. I wish someone would please get some help in there.

It could be set up a bit differently, in my opinion but other than that it's fine.It seems like you could always find some kind of deal no matter what you are looking for. So in that case I think Dollar General does a great job providing value to the customer at a low price.

The people are always helpful and friendly. If the line gets long, they open up another register instead of making you wait forever. Convenient location and they have pretty much anything you would need between grocery store runs.

One of the employees is really rude and unprofessional. I think she might be the manager, but I’m not sure. Younger, thin, long brown hair. I went in with a friend once and usually if you go up with a basket the cashier puts it behind the counter once it’s empty, but this chick decided to slam it in front of my friend while we were walking out. Then she started yelling about how she was sick of no one ever putting them away. The next time we went in, my friend tried talking to another employee about what had happened last time with her and she came out from another aisle and started arguing with my friend again.

I go often due to having nowhere else near by to shop for quick essentials. The staff is usually not friendly at all. The store isn’t all that clean. It is usually very well stocked.

Good location easy in and out just off the highway, good place to stop for snack and drinks when passing through. Nice to browse and stretch the legs. Friendly staff.

From an inside source: staff treated terribly. In the 5 years i lived here and had a family member work there....went downhill. Always unorganized, hard to move around the store and usually 9/10 someone rude ringing you up. Sad since Knob is a small town you have limited options.

Remodeled with some fresh produce, lots of added fridge food but checking out could be slow at busy times. Over all big improvement.

They had a clearance rack that said buy one get one free and in teeny tiny print said " if it has a red triangle" yet nothing on the rack had a red triangle very frustrating and misleading! Disappointed!

Needed something usually on the shelf but was empty. Asked the guy working for the distilled water and he dug some out of the back from that day's truck. Above and beyond, thank you! Sure wish I'd have noted his name, would like to give him a shout out!

The Dollar General Store in Knob Noster is the most awful place to shop. The management is a joke, the employees are hateful. Being in a rural area, where the nearest place to purchase needed items being 15 miles away, one would think that they would be eager for your business. As a former employee of the State of Missouri Department of Social Services, I was shocked, when an employee announced a problem a customer was having with her EBT card to everyone standing in line in the store. That's another issue, you stand in line for at least 5-10 mins at a time to try and check out. I personally have given up on the store. I will drive the extra distance to buy my things at Wal-Mart.

Was denied buying a bottle of wine because a cashier heard me ask my 17 year old daughter if she thought her mom would like it....also had 60 bucks worth of groceries and a 6 pack of beer...they sold me the beer and refused to sell me the wine..even after I showed her the message to my wife asking if she would like it...never get another penny from me...
