Yes, technically, they carry Benjamin Moore paints. However, you will find only a small assortment of color chips, bad lighting, zero sample "idea" booklets, and employees who struggle to look up and mix a can of any Benjamin Moore colors they don't have the specific chip for in the store (even with the name & number). Wouldn't go there if you need an exact match. Also, the cover on our small sample can was not shut tightly and it leaked, so be sure to check that too before you leave the store. Two stars for a convenient location and plenty of parking. Also, if a person prefers a smaller store to navigate or limited selection to sort through, Westlake Ace might be a more comfortable and less overwhelming place to shop than a bigger hardware store.

Dustin resolved a shipping issue on a pellet grill and took care of me as if I was a friend.I highly recommend this location and Dustin truly cared about not wasting my time and got to the bottom of the issue with ease.The lady at the checkout was also extremely nice and you could just tell she cared.

I used to shop here a lot more often than I do now. They used to have really good deals in their paper ads, and I'm sure that's gone forever. Prices are higher, but if you want great customer service, this is the place. These employees actually know what they are talking about compared to big box stores. I mostly have to do most of my shopping online because I can't seem to find what I need at the local stores. Every once in a while, I can find those hard to find items here. If they were not so high on prices, this would be 5 stars.

I bought a very nice smoker/grill at this very same store a couple of years ago. I still have it, nice one. I have to say though, the cashier being kind, and fixing a pricing discrepancy, on my canning jars, is the ONLY reason I gave this store a 3 star this time around. Why? Anyone, who clearly, and out in the open prices Gulf Wax , a pound of it, at $12.99, during the worst summer to try to buy canning supplies, I have ever experienced, is clearly taking advantage. It was not the only one I saw either. Shame on them. Lucky I gave you 3 stars. Psshh!

Love this ace! AMAZING STAFF! I just go in every once and awhile and look for deals and they are always so helpful and not annoying or nosie, which there is a fine line for that, but no. They are so good here and really genuinely care about helping out, I'd give 6 stars if I could, you guys are awesome!

this store is one of the few left of it's kind, when it comes to the little hard to find items in just about anything a person can do when it comes to maintenance and living in a older house, they have some of the nicest employees and they know there stuff over all it's my go to for the hard to fix diy repairs! thank you ace,

Nice selection of items for around the home and garden. Very clean, and well organized. Much easier to find what you need here than the giant big box stores. Staff is super friendly and helped me find the fittings I needed. They greeted me at the door and thanked me as I left. I love that businesses like this still exist!

Needed to buy a certain size of small nails. Found them in record time. There were three sales people in the area all ready to help. Had been to Walmart but didn't find what I wanted. The store was set up exactly how it had been years before, so I knew where I was going. Very refreshing compared to having to type it into some app

Everyone there is really friendly and it has the small town feel to it. Has some stuff but not all if your looking for a quick get in and out this is a good place However the much higher prices compared to Home Depot/Menards makes it to where I prefer to go there instead.

Always have been greeted with a smile and left with what I was either originally after or something to finish the project/job correctly. One of the only local stores that will tell you if a item is available for same day pick up when you use Google shopping. 5/5 stars for services and atmosphere and best electrical section around but personal 4/5 stars due to the lack of variety of commonly stocked items...By this I mean-- instead of a entire isle of basically garden gloves/work gloves...make a true craft section? Like models and testors craft paints&sets and stuff along those lines...I was in there about a week ago satin sample paint, decided to grab a few metallic acrylic paint and clear coat spray, once I started towards the front I was approached to see if I needed help, I asked about some small like 30ml mix cups and she looked at me kinda funny so I clarified I need a stack of little disposable cups that you'd get on top of a DayQuil liquid bottle or on top liquid allergy relief then she basically said had no clue or battery to radio and she ended up pointing to section up towards the front and said theirs some and said the only disposable cups she was aware of was some red solo cups.

Fantastic staff. Its rare to find a hardware store that staffs friendly and knowledgeable employees anymore. Even if the first employee I found could not answer my question they could quickly find someone who could. This is a complete 180 from my experiences at this store even just a year ago. I am more than willing to make my purchases here over the warehouse stores.

Great customer service! I almost always need help in a hardware store and they make sure to check in with me right as I walk in the door. That way I dont have to chase someone down and admit that Im clueless about hardware store stuff. :-)

Check prices carefully. They have a tendency to increase prices at the register and "forget" to change them on the shelf, especially small plumbing items. Happened to me on 3 separate occasions.

Always love ACE Hardware stores in general, but Westlake in Kirksville is particularly nice. Clean and well organized with friendly and helpful employees. Also really well stocked with Big Green Egg products, which I really like. Lots of grill choices beyond the BGE as well. Better than many of the big box stores. Very wide hardware selection too.
