I took my cat here last summer to get his stomach shaved due to matting. The service was amazing. They were very on top of everything and called me as soon as he was ready. They even gave him a bath free of charge! Overall this was a great place with great services.

Came in today to get my dog's nails clipped and had the best experience! My dog is very difficult went it comes to trimming her nails but the team at Pawsitive went straight to work and tailored their services for my girl! With such friendly and caring attitudes, I will definitely seek out their services again soon!

I board my dogs here occasionally. They are always well taken care of! They also have full grooming services. I have a long hair dog that I had them cut this summer. I expected him to look kind of ridiculous with short hair but had it done anyway to help him in the heat of summer. He was adorable!

Every experience we have had has been more than fantastic! This place provides a great service for the community. Sean is the best, and they take great care of our dogs when we go out of town. I would recommend to anyone, and I try and recommend to everyone that mentions they have pets. I haven’t tried any of their services other than their dog sitting, but I’m about to call and get my dogs groomed there. Figured I would leave this first because I keep forgetting. Thanks for all you do!

I forgot to post last week after having my German Shephard groomed..I was reminded today after giving Sky some pets and she’s still SUPER soft and still clean! I love Pawsitive Animal Works. Sky can be a little hyper around other dogs and difficult to control when she’s excited but they have always taken good care of her and not once complained about her being super excited around other animals. Every staff member I have encountered has been friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. Thanks again!! We move in a year and the thing I’m most worried about is finding a groomer I am comfortable leaving her with...you guys set the bar high!

My dog has never had anything but excellent grooming and experience at Pawsitive Animal works. No matter the groomer, they always listen to my requests as I need specific things done in a certain way, & I can count on them to do what I ask and more. They always tell me of any findings I might not know about and how I might be able to help a particular problem. I cannot recommend Allana & Katy high enough. I would not consider going anywhere else.

The shop is the cutest place! We have a short-haired dog, so we've never gotten a hair cut there, but they always do a fabulous job with any of our other grooming needs! She is usually very shy around strangers, but never seems to care when we drop her off here! Plus, she LOVES the homemade treats they sell.

I love Pawsitive Animal Works! I take both of my dogs (boxer mix and corgi) there. They receive excellent treatment and grooming! I love that the offer to grind their nails instead of just clipping them. It really helps!

When my dog started coming here, it was the only place in Kirksville he was happy to be besides our house. Every time we drive by with the dog in the car he gets excited. This is the only place we will ever take him to get groomed. Jessica is a wonderful groomer!We have also boarded our dog here and he always has the best time!!

I have been bringing my dog here for years and almost always had a positive experience. However, as of this point I will no longer have her groomed here. I had an appointment the first week of April which had been scheduled 6 weeks prior to the appointment. When businesses were shut down due to the virus, I understood that it would be overwhelming to make so many calls rescheduling those appointments. I followed the directions on the phone message after the re-opening date was announced. However, I received no call-back until AFTER they had re-opened. Then, no appointment was available for MANY weeks. They should have given priority to those who had appointments and had been steady clients. It is apparent that my business is unimportant to them. (By the way, my dog always got perfect "report cards," and I always left Jessica a generous tip!)

So, having a Doodle is the best and the worst!! When it comes to grooming them, the struggle is real! Especially if you go past a good grooming session with your dog groomer. Since the pandemic and shut down hit us around the time for a session at Pawsitive Animalworks we were unable to do maintenance at the proper time. We did our best with at home grooming. We have all the tools necessary, but it just got beyond our expertise. It took us awhile to get an appointment once they opened back up. I was expecting that and didn't feel like we were "left behind" in any way. But, Jessica did a great job of handling, evaluating and communicating with us about what our Doodle boy needed at his appointment. I appreciate Jessica's understanding and patience with our energetic fur baby and appreciate them all even more since they have had to change the way they do business in following CDC guidelines. Pawsitive Animalworks is a asset to the community and we truly appreciate the quality, professionalism, and care they've given us and our Doodle boy.

The amount of adorable treats are endless. The staff always has a warm welcome upon arrival. They understand the comfort needed sometimes for my fur babies during there spa treatment. I'd highly recommend this crew.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. They treat my dog (who deals with grooming anxiety) with loving care. She gets a schnauzer cut, which is more detailed than some, and it is always even. They ask for feedback each time on how they could do better.

The basic training classes at Pawsitive Animal Works were great! We loved that Laci trains the owners, so we are responsible for training/teaching our dog; so easy to carry over at home! The classes, exercises, and commands were very effective! We even drove an hour for the classes each week, and it was worth it!

Took our cat in for her fist haircut. Figured it would be a fight, since she is only friendly to mom, dad and l. Joy really knows her stuff, Ms Kitty didn't try to scratch or bite and no cat screaming. Highly recommend Joy if your cat needs grooming.

Took the Furbabies to Timberline Pet Ranch for a spa day. Katy Fine-Newman did a great job with Meeka like always. Meeka gets a bath and blowout! Duke's usual groomer wasnt there due to illness but Simon did a great job. Thank you for the awesome service!

This place is unacceptable. The first time I went there they cut my dogs ear and didn't tell me. There was dried blood blocking her ear canal. I let that go and went back again. The next time they never called me when she was done, and closed before I decided to just show up at shortly after 5 pm. They claimed they had a wrong number but it was correct on their calendar. They still charged me to keep her over night!
