I have a basset hound, he doesn’t do too good with new people and places. I was going to have his nails trimmed. They have muzzles for “aggressive” dogs. They said that since he was acting “aggressively” that they couldn’t trim his nails. He’s never bit anyone before but I don’t want to take a chance. What’s the point of having muzzles if you don’t use them because you don’t groom “aggressive” dogs?

I got my cat here. He's great. And after I got my dog at the pound. They were so wonderful with him. Today he got his first bath. Even though he hates baths. They treated him like family. Love petsmart

I always come here for any of my pet needs. I love being able to take my puppy into the store and letting him pick his toys or his next big treat. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

Their crickets are healthy & my bearded dragon loves them! 😉 expect a wait time, because their store seems a little understaffed. Update: trinket, my bearded dragon died because she accidentally ate a wasp! 😪 so we don't need to buy Crickets anymore 😉 but I still come here sometimes because the children love watching the fish & birds etc. They would like to pet the cats but we understand why they don't allow that!

Yesterday:I have been going to PetSmart since they opened in Kirksville.Normally I have a good experience, today was absolutely the opposite .The young lady that works over in the fish department named Bobbie was extremely rude. When I checked out she was called to the counter to cashier. She became unfriendly when my debit card did not go through. She stated to run it again. I stated "It won't charge me twice will it".She said " I don't know since she doesn't work on that part of that, I just run the card and you need to run it again" . I did so and just her attitude and rudeness continued. No thank you, no smile and little regard for customer service. All other employees in the store where very helpful and friendly.Customers need to steer clear of this employees if you want to have a pleasant experience here.Thanks to the other employees I will return to this establishment.

I have shopped at this store for years and have always been happy. Today I went to buy a hamster for my granddaughter and the girl that helped us was the most rude person I've ever had. She acted like we was an inconvenience and not once smiled.

We came in and bought several fish and fish tank and accessories and let me tell you the lady who helped us had only been there a couple months she said, she worked at register typically but due to someone having to leave to take an animal to the vet she was who helped us. She was absolutely amazing very friendly and kind and tried to help us in every way possible. I wish I knew her name to recognize her I remember she had a nose hoop piercing if that helps 😂 but we will continue coming back thanks for having friendly staff

My husband and I took our 2 huskies for a grooming appointment, and Alex did such a fantastic job! I highly recommend choosing Alex. Our dogs smelled amazing and were super fluffy afterwards. Thank you for putting up with the howling :)

You're greeted when you first walk in the door, always asked they can be of any help, the store is clean, and has adequate inventory. I appreciate being a Rewards member because there are always special deals. For example, yesterday I saved $20.45. I always have to go and look at the kitty cats up for adoption. I have a dog, but my daughter living in Denver has cats. This Calico especially touched my heart yesterday.

Horrible experience they sold me a pregnant guinea pig under the impression it was a male all they offered as condolences was in store credit or a new guinea pig i couldnt even get my money back as if i would want to return after I had had this one for a week it is already my pet I already love her we also purchased a fish that appeared to be doing really well but about a week in it passes away

I went in last week to get cat food. I thought that I would get him something different. Wont be doing that again. Thank goodness I had some of the stuff that he loves. I took it to the store and the sales associate took the bag and returned it for me and was brainstorming on what they could do with the open bag. My Ranga has his favorite food now :)

I shop here often and the employees are great. I've had great success with the foods they helped me pick out for my dog and a friend's dog. I love bringing my dog in to go look at the kittens, she loves cats. They have great markdowns and a great selection of products. I can usually find everything I need and when I can't I order online. Their Bettas are always healthy, which pet stores usually aren't. I've bought three from them and the oldest I've had for one year! Thank you for being an awesome pet store!

This was my first visit to a PetSmart, and I was rather happy with my experience. There were a lot of products marked down throughout the store, which was nice to get new things for my animals to try. They also have a discount club which will save me more money.I purchased some rawhide chews for my dogs, some varieties of high protein wet food for my senior cat, as well as tartar reducing cat treats. I was happy with everything and so were my critters.

I went in to get a harness for my dog. The cashier I talked to (sorry, I didn't get her name!) was fantastic. She was very knowledgable about the different kinds of harnesses. I ended up getting two different kinds, since they have a fantastic return policy. She even matched the price of the harness online saving me $13!! I was very happy with my experience.

I will occasionally stop in here just to see what variety they have in their lines of small fur covered pets, birds, snakes, fish, and aquariums. Store has always been clean neat and organized. The staff is friendly and they have always offered to help out or answer questions. I like it that the store works with the local rescue to help put rescue pets into new living arrangements.
