Great clean place always 11% rebate.Only thing I would recommend would be to have some classes on how to treat your customers as we had 2 bad contacts

Chris was super cool. When my grandma needed help he led her to the right aisle. Then she started tk have a heart attack and chris gave her cpr the ambulance was waiting for a train to pass. He flew her to a hospital using his private jet and paid for the hospital bills out of his own pocket

I went to the Menards in Kirksville to get some items because they were out of stock at my "usual" Menards. The lady running the cash register was amazing! The guy at the counter in the back where you order deck supplies & such.....not so much. He acted like I was bothering him and he couldn't wait to go in the back & talk to his buddies. I think I'll stick to my usual Menards from here on out.

I’m so frustrated. Menards is an hour away for me. I got 2 bags ($102/bag) of insulation which was suppose to be put in house tomorrow. I get them home and 1 of the bags has water water coming out of the open end. I got water and insulation all of the back seat of my car. That 11% rebate is worth it. I have to make another trip to kirksville, have car detailed, and pay contractor to come back after I get another bag.

THANK YOU for making sure people are wearing their masks! As an ACTUAL disabled person with a weakened immune system, I feel safe shopping here. I've also had absolutely fantastic experiences shopping here with my service dog. Your employees are awesome!!

Clean, clean, clean employees were friendly genuinely friendly - except one (that's why I can't give 5 stars). Products are good condition.A piece of advice even if you think the order of searching from a customer is wrong, don't tell them they are wrong! I was in town for a marketplace deal that someone beat me to. So it made sense to make the trip worth my while by looking for items that aren't available in my town. Don't tell the customer what you do is look up the items online to save a trip.Again overall good experience everyone else was professional.

Bought a freezer on March 9. Took it home , got it running and loaded with meat. @ days later opened freezer and found upper half covered in frost. Checked everything and found door gasket not sealing on hinge side with massive air leak. Called store. Initially they were just going to exchange, then corporate HQ contacted me and stated they had forwarded the problem to the vendor. @ more days and the vendor contacted me and said they were reviewing the problem and I would have an answer to the problem by the end of the week. We still have no answer to what they are going to do and it is now April 5.

This Menards is the best I've been to out of 4 other locations! For years now of remodeling several homes, we've been to 4 other locations and this is by far the best OVERALL with service in store and the entire yard down to the gate employees, inventory is always accurate and neatly organized, and cleanliness inside and out the best! I live 20 minutes closer to the ottumwa, IA location and it is by far worth the extra miles to come to the kirksville, mo location!

Most employee are ok but a female named Kim was really rude. I think she was over the patio department. I thought the upstairs or mezzanine was for customers, she informed me that there was only overstock up there. There is clearly a sign that states you can go up. An employee only sign should be posted if they don’t want customers there. She was not friendly at all. Customer service course would be helpful with most employees there. Wish I could post a picture of the sign by the elevator. Glad there is a Home Depot next door.

A quiet visit today with very few people at the moment. I’ve never had so many employees ask if I needed help. The thinning inventory and increased prices on everything is just another sign of this pandemic. The store was clean and tidy with swift checkouts.

Wow, what is with this place?? They were trying to help, or so they said. I guess they must have thought we were going to put the entire store in our pockets before we left, or something. I mean how many times can the same 9 employees ask me if I need "help finding anything?" Between the time we got through the front doors, until the time we walked out the exit doors, just very obviously stalking, and circling around us, the entire time! which I guess could have been okay, if they weren't rude and hateful each and every time they popped around another corner, of yet another department, to ask us yet again if we needed any help with anything? Nope, you've already shown me enough to know we will NEVER come back to THIS store, I'll go to a different town, or their competition, or just do without. The absolute worst we have been treated in a business we was spending our money in!!!

Wow! Three people in flooring walked by when husband was trying to corral a 12 foot linoleum remnant. Then while trying to load a male employee walked by slowly with his face in his phone. No offer to help either.. THEN I called to talk to a manager. Got customer service and a gal said, " I'm the customer service manager." I told her all of the above and she said, "Okay. I'll tell them." Not, "Sorry, what is your name...." anything. I knew that would go no where. I just said "I'll call the corporate office Monday." Back to Home Depot I go.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I was walking along side my 2yr old niece and an employee informed us that she either had to be held or in a cart or wear a mask. She was rude and nasty. We grabbed our personal belongings and left our cart behind and drove across the road to Home Depot. We will not be back. Home Depot was instantly a much nicer environment with kind employees.

Went in today to buy a 20' flagpole kit that I seen in store earlier this year. But I guess with all the Christmas decorations it had been moved to a different location. After walking around in the general area of where I seen it before, I noticed a sign pointing up the stairs saying something about lawn and outdoor furniture (?). So as soon as I got up there I was met with an employee who must of had a bad day. She wanted to know what I needed, so I told her what I was looking for. She snapped at me like I wasn't supposed to be up there and as I proceeded to make my way down the stairs, she was hot on my tail practically chasing me downstairs. I could have bought the kit cheaper online but was going to buy it in store but after this experience, I think I will be buying it ANYWHERE but Menards. And probably every other purchase will be made elsewhere because of this experience.

The guy at the lumber yard was totally awesome, but when we went to the checkout, the lady that checked us out handled all our merchandise despite the fact we had it turned with barcodes up in our cart. As she was doing so she sneezed in her arm and when I asked if they had any sanitary wipes, she wanted to sell me some. it amazes me that in a store where you have to wear your mask, that a worker like this can be that unsanitary, do you really need to handle all my stuff?can you just not scan it in the cart?

It's my favorite place to go pick up anything I need from groceries to gardening tools. Definitely a one stop shop. They're enforcing the mask rule which is refreshing, and they'll always wiping carts and counter tops. The employees still have that smile on under the mask and are always helpful without hesitation. The person that runs this Menards is doing an outstanding job and deserves a raise!

I really like the variety of goods they have in sock and I'm usually pretty happy with them. However, this time, not so much. Had to get lumber from warehouse and waited forever and finally just loaded it up myself. Heard from many a people that this store is like that. Can't seem to find good help I guess.

Cashiers were rude to my uncle for some reason....They were just chatting or something and told us to wait, after 1 minute they said that they were ready and my uncle just trying to joke around told them "oh im ready too", which i think he said that because of the long minute they made us wait there after they were just chatting...Neat store but for my first experience here i dont know man.

I am a local contractor and would not advise anyone to do business with them. Had to give it 1 star just to be able to write the review. They do not stand behind their products or their word. They made me pay for a special order before it arrived then when it did and it was wrong, I have paperwork to prove it, they said too bad. They product they gave me was $200 + cheaper and they charged me the price of what they were suppose to order in the first place and wouldn't even reimburse the overcharge. Buy at your own risk there, but I will not ever buy nor have any of my future customers go there. And they wasn't even nice about it. Rude place that only cares about their dollar, not their customers

Bought an item for $440. After getting it home I realized it was a returned item. I found out why after opening it. There was damage in several places. They obviously put an expensive item on the shelf to resell that they knew was damaged. I asked for a discount and was told my only choice was to return it even though they didn't have another one.I originally gave this 3 stars, but Menards response was to simply say that they'd pass it on and then took the opportunity to start sending me their email marketing campaigns.

Food & Stuff... I mean Menards is always great.Edit(-1 star). Don't buy appliances here. Bought a brand new upright freezer that didn't work. When I asked for an exchange I was told I'd have to pay $80 for delivery, even though it was under warranty. Instead I took my money to Home Depot, got a name brand and free delivery/install.

It's always such a joy to see the happy faces when I come in to do the Mill Creek DVD setting and selections that go in the big bin up in the front of the store if you're looking for a good movie with a family or just yourself and a couple buddies or girlfriends take a look at our Mill Creek DVD sales up in the front near the cash registers take one or two get one for your mom and one for your dad maybe one for your sister too for a night at home watching movies enjoy with popcorn and some fat girl snacks from Menards

Terrible service from this Menards. My husband and I bought 16 rolls of insulation, not one employee offered to help us load up. And to add to the disappointment, The kirksville Menards is higher priced than other Menards and they refused to price match other Menard stores. The insulation rolls at this Menards were $10 more per roll higher than other Menards stores. I will never shop at this Menards store again.

Purchased a stove which they ordered while I was there. I was under the impression it was too be delivered. But 5 days after my date I was told, I called and they had my email incorrect in the system and was not set up for delivery... so $750 spent and still want another $161 for delivery! Stupid! Well never do business here again!

Friendly & helpful employees. Store was clean and well stocked. One slight problem inventory was off so they were short one item I wanted but that happens.
