Wonderful resort. The owner is very friendly and helpful too! Things are well-kept and there’s a lot they offer for free included with stay, as well as, for rent (Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP), two and four seat golf carts). There’s a neat little game room (with arcade games, board games, and jigsaw puzzles for guests), and even an ice cream shop (though we never got to try the ice cream; it may not be in operation anymore). The cons are the steep slope to get to the water (the golf carts are totally worth it), the water is very choppy nearby, the ice cream / gift shop never opened, and the swimming pool doesn’t have any lights. The pool is fun though. There’s a great slide! Once it gets dark, you’ve got to pretty much get out. There’s not a lot of lighting around, but other than in the pool, I think it’s nice to not have the light pollution. You are guaranteed to see the stars at night here. We had so much fun here and I highly recommend this place 😃.Also, it’s within walking distance to a grocery store. Such a wonderful convenience that you won’t find with many other resorts on the lake. There’s also some nearby tennis courts, and you can borrow a couple rackets from the game board.

Very nice place! The cabins are a little on the small side, but were still able to accommodate our semi-large group. Any and all questions or concerns were taken care of quickly. We did not notice any insect problems, and the air conditioners worked very well! My only issue was that the beds were too firm. We’re already planning to return next year!

We really enjoyed our family reunion to the Oaks. The owners we really nice and helpful. The cabins were clean which is most important to us. My only comment is that the effort could use a little updating and fine touches. Great place overall! Kids loved the pool.

Love this place! Relax and breathe the fresh air. Listen to the birds and watch deer play in the water. Watch the fish jump out of the water while sitting on the dock watching the sunrise. We stay here every year! Cannot wait until the next time. Very friendly staff/owners. Pet friendly. Great peaceful, relaxing vacation!

The whole family has no idea how this place has 4.7 stars. Our cabin was smelly and moldy. The beds were gross and so were the bathrooms. The room I stayed in was literally a closet sized room. The board's on the walls are coming off and it looks gross. My room had ants. The space is so small. Another one of the cabins a part of our family stayed in has rotting floor boards. And they didn't bother to change out the air conditioning units that weren't working till we got there. We will never be coming back! Gross!

Absolutely loved this resort! So many reasons!Our cabin was so close to the pool, lake, and other amenities. They have a game room that also has board games you can bring back to your cabin. It was much larger than I expected. Had open kitchen/dining. Full kitchen with table and 6 chairs, couch, futon, and bathroom before you go down the hallway to bedrooms. 3 bdrms: 1 with a dbl/queen, 1 with 2 built in bunks (my neices absolutely loved, so much fun), and 1 with dbl/queen that had an attached bath. PET FRIENDLY!! They have done a lot of upgrades, but have still left some of the 60's originals. Which takes me back to my grandparent's cabin growing up. Very nostalgic for me, and I'm sure many others. Sheri was very kind and flexible. We look forward to next year and many more to come!!

Just finished a wonderful week at this resort with my wife and 2 older boys. We stayed in Cabin 5 and it was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Really enjoyed being able to get ice cream every night at the snack shack. The availability of boats, tubes, paddle boards, etc. is awesome. The best thing about this resort though is the owners. Really enjoyed talking to Chris and Sheri. They do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. If we get a chance to come back, this will be the first place I look to book.

Very nice place. Very clean. The owners are vary nice. Pool was warm and clean. I like how you can see everything down the hill. I will be back again. We had cabins 1 2 3 and loved it!!

Very nice accommodations on the shore of Tablerock Lake. Super friendly owners. Good kitchen facilities in all of the cabins. Nice boat docks. Excellent WiFi throughout the resort. Restaurants and a Dollar General store are less than 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Gives you a nice, cozy, quiet, relaxing cabin retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended.

Our family spent a week,at Kimberling Oaks Resort. We rented 3 cabins total. Cabins were clean, orderly and well stocked with essentials. The owners of the resort couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. This was our 3rd stay at Kimberling Oaks and we have made reservations to return in 2019.

Overall a very nice resort. Depending on your cabin it'll either be a little out of date or pretty updated. A great location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty to do with kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards, pool and the lake to swim in.

I very much enjoyed the stay the walls in the bathroom needed some touch ups, and the toilet was making a weird sound but the staff is very into helping you out (especially with weird toliet sounds). It was a great place was a little pricy but for what all they had worth it!

While the resort wasn't necessarily "on" the lake, it was super close to the marina and Kimberling City has great amenities. Sheri was awesome and super flexible. Would highly recommend.
