I live in Malden . I drive to Kennett, just to shop there. Prices are excellent ! The store is a lot cleaner then usually is . It's not organized at all, but I can tell they are working on that . The service was great . People their are friendly. The parking lot was clean . Was kinda shocked about that . Y'all are doing better. Keep up the great work. God bless y'all.

I usually have a good experience at the store. The merchandise is generally cheap and inexpensive about you have to watch out for some things. Yesterday was the first time that changed all that. There was a customer service representative on duty who was a balding, gay man, but I did not catch his name. I'll go back later and look at his name tag and then I will reply.He stopped me on my way to check out to tell me that one of the 12 packs in my cart was the wrong brand for the sale currently in effect. I said "oh okay I'll go exchange." He said that orange crush was the brand of orange soda on sale. I asked if this store carried Orange Crush? He replied "I don't know."So I said "I'll go check when I exchange this soda." I did just that, and they do indeed carry Orange Crush.I proceeded to the checkout where the man was currently finishing a sale. He looked up at me, smiled, and abandoned his post walking toward the door as a customer walked in."HELLLOOOOOO! Can I help you today?" He said as she walked on answering that she was just looking. Followed her deeper into the store trying to show her a current promotion. She told him no thank you and again stated that she was just looking. He came back to the counter where I had loaded all of my items and was waiting.He stopped behind the register, clasping both hands together he cocked his head to one side and asked me, "is there something... Is something wrong...With you?"I look down at my shirt in my arms, and then my hands, "am I bleeding or something?" I asked.He said "no I just thought something was wrong because you have made some comments that well, sounded, well you sounded rude."Genuinely confused, "I asked what comment was that?"Hey mockingly repeated the sentence when I asked him if they carried orange soda to me, and he also stated that I was rude when I said I would go see.I went on to explain to him that no, I did not intend to be rude. I told him that I thought it was a valid question and meantno harm. But I went on to explain that I was about to get rude unless he started checking me out immediately because it was almost time for me to pick up my kids from school and he was just standing there trying to argue with me, a customer and wasting my time.He continue to antagonize me and waste my time, as my cell phone rang with my daughter calling to ask if I was picking the kids up from school.It went on and on. I don't know who this man thinks I am, maybe he has me confused. I've never met him before but he seems to have a problem with me. Because if he is that nasty or of a person to everyone, I don't know how he has a job working with the public.

Finally this store is looking so much better than it was because just a few months ago I couldn't believe how pulled up it was. It seemed dangerous to walk into and now the store is really sharp.

There is not enough room for a person that can walk to get through that store, don't get me wrong I like shopping there but they need to get the stock off the floor. I was there the other day and I could no. get any closer than three isles to get a soda. I had to ask a worker to get it for me. I myself don't know how thay make money with it cluttered up like that, I would classified a fire hazard. Just saying.

I go shopping here often and it might be crowded but it reminds me of shopping with my aunt before she past. I don't go to the back isle as laundry detergent and soap n my sneezing flares up lol

Being a customer anywhere you should walk in to a store and be able to shop and get the respect of just being a person, But going to shop at Family Dollar in Kennett you have to go in and get judged or accused of being a bad person , Or getting mistreated , The one to look out for would be a woman named genie with blonde hair and glasses she gives no thought to her customers there feelings or respect means nothing be very careful when shopping at this store you could walk in and get disrespected and judged by the workers.
