Really tight backing for a truck to the dock when delivering. You have to make a really tight left turn then back into the dock door. Sliding your tandems up will help. Not a lot of space to work with. Hope this helps other drivers before hand. Keep on Trucking!

I love TDC and so happy that they have moved in to this site in Kearney MO it seems like they are still experiencing growing pains as there was what seemed like a lot of merchandise missing or out of stock. But I can also see that it is going to be a very nice looking store once completed. So looking forward to moving this review to a 4 or hopefully 5 star review once they get moved in and lookin pretty. Again glad to have them in this location.

Bitter cold weekend looms.. needed supplies for chickens and dogs. Late evening of work. Got home to have dinner with family and checked closing times. Google says Friday is 9pm so I spent a little extra time with the kiddos. Left for TDC about 7:25pm. Arrived right at 8pm. Doors locked. Young lady came to the door and yelled through the glass "8pm, holiday hours". Didn't know 1/12 was a holiday but ok. Doubt I'll return. Just isn't the same since Orscheln's left.

Everyone that works there is always so friendly and helpful. I have never encountered anyone that acted like they were put-out for being asked a question. MANY other stores could take lessons on their customer service.

As a longtime Kearney resident I've shopped at this location for years. Customer service has gone downhill over the years. I had occasion to visit this location a week ago pursuing a sell item. First, I literally had to stand in the middle of the store and in a slightly raised voice ask the cashier up front for someone to help me. It took several minutes and several calls over the radio for someone to finally come. The young man they sent to help me was no help at all. It turns out the item had been sold out 2 days into the sell. Even the display model had been sold. I then asked to speak to a member of management. Debbie, the acting "store manager " came to assist me. I asked if there would be a replenishment of stock of the item before the sell ended. She told me the ad was 'email only' and was not widely published. I told her the I'd received the print ad in the mail. Strike one. Strike two happened when she intimated that I could call others stores in the area to find the item myself, then promptly corrected herself to offer to make the calls for me, as is her job. Before she picked up the phone to call around for me. Suddenly, she remembers a "truck had come in" she thought perhaps the item in question was on it. Great! I thought maybe I'll be in luck. Strike three happens when she goes in back to find said item only to close an open door in my face, which at the time she went back to look for the item was wide open. This, at first, didn't seem offensive to me. After about ten minutes another employee opened the closed door. It was then I heard her say to the employee, " do you leave your door open at home". At that time I walked out of the store. I felt like I had been treated with disrespect. The story ends with a happy ending, however. Sara, at the Excelsior Springs location, came through with flying colors. When contacted she found the item, which was the last one, and put it aside under my name. She was pleasant and helpful and appreciated my business. She even gave me a discount because of the trouble I had at the Kearney store. This will be my default store from now on. Oh, by the way I'm a middle-aged African-American man. Try to see this through my eyes.

There are/have been a few really sweet and nice employees here, especially the young cashier, Karen. She's always been so nice and friendly every time I go to her lane. I like going to this store and even though they're expensive, sometimes they have really good deals and I get a lot of my horse and poultry food and supplies from this particular location.

We have always liked Orscheln's, have gone there for years. We have been a little disappointed with the change over to Tractor Supply. There are several items gone and not replaced yet with the TS version. Some shelves are bare. Hope when they finally get the change over done, things will be better.

This is a very good well stocked store. It has a down home family be vibe. Friendly staff, if they don't have it in stock they can get it ordered.

I have spent many years shopping at Orscheln Farm and Home. And have always felt greeted and welcomed. But after my shopping experience today I will never spend my money with them again. Customer service has went downhill there is zero to none in the world.I will not have an employee call me or my family names as walking away after asking a question they are paid to be there to answer my questions, even after speaking with a manager about the situation I felt she was blowing me off with sorry ma'am i will talk to him. Never even took the time to ask me can I help you with the problem can I answer your question.So I will be taking my business elsewhere

Store is very abundant lots of great candies, patio items, and clothes. Unfortunately they had no peanuts in the shell. They were in the middle a planogram. Only our squirrels and birds will be unhappy.

Friendly staff and good variety of dog food. Bought a truck bed toolbox too, but the brand sold doesn't come with any installation items to attach the box to your truck. And they didn't sell any separate installation kits. We had to go elsewhere to buy that. Needs to be noted by the boxes that you need more supplies to install... please see aisle X for our selection. Just a thought.

I absolutely love this place! They have all kinds of odds and ends. As well as Hardware, animal products, clothes, shoes plant gardening supplies.... this is where I buy all my chicken feed they always have sales. All the employees are extremely nice and helpful. I've never had a negative experience going to this location. They also have a Orscheln card that you can sign up for and get coupons and discounts. Great store. Highly recommended.

It is a good store overall. The store is on a bit of a hill I use a flat bed cart for dogfood and chicken scratch. Every cart like that doesn't have good brakes so I can't leave the cart while I open my truck up an load each bag. I have told the employees several times and nothing has changed. I just have my husband go with me. I know I could ask for help but feel they are short staffed enough I don't want to bug them.Also the last bags of scratch had whole corn not cracked.

Just went to look around. Bought a cat toy, after being there for about 45 minutes! LOLthey sell absolutely everything, from clothing to goat food. Employees were very nice!

I went up to get dog food I forgot to get in town when I was there over the weekend. They had what kind our dog likes and the price was really competitive. My wife likes to look at there clothes they always seem to have something new all the time. If she doesn’t get something for her self she always seems to get something for one of the grandkids.

I went into this large Orscheln store hunting for some fleece lined leggings to wear this winter, and I was amazed at the amount of ones in my size. They had 15 or more. Wow!!! The town that I live in is about 80 miles from here and their selection consisted of 4 or 5 pairs. An Awesome store.!!! 😍😀🌈🌟😎

This is the only orshlens store I have been in that has birds flying around in it. Like most stores now a days the inventory is real hit and miss. All they had was the expensive chicken feed all the country lane was gone.

Clean an very well organized. Had thier winter apparel on sale. Big big store didnt get a chance to go threw all of it. Associate's were very friendly and helpful with questions. Good brand names and decent prices.

Employees are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Because it's pretty far away from me I don't go often and always call to make sure they have what I need. Three call usually involves a couple of departments with several items being checked for availability and nobody has ever been impatient with me.

I'm a little concerned about the way they treat animals there. Every once in a while they'll have baby chicks; one time I was in there and I saw a chick with an injured leg that was having trouble getting around. When I told an employee about it she brushed me off and wouldn't even come over to look at the chick. Other than that they have a lot of different types of merchandise for fair prices.

I've been going here for wild bird food for several years. Sometimes I'll pick up 22 LR ammo when it's on sale, sometimes a snack. I've bought winter coats, jeans and more here. It's a cross between an old fashion feed store and Walmart. They have discount days foot seniors and veterans too. I just bought two 40 lb bags of black sunflower seeds for only $12 a bag! Good place to shop I'd you haven't been.

Rarely if ever have what you need in stock (e.g drill bits, Brad nails, Phillips screw drivers, a spark plug socket, etc.)… If they do, consider buying a lotto ticket because you’re pretty damn lucky.
