If I could give only zero stars, I totally would! I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt to get better at their jobs but every single time I am nothing but disappointed. Yesterday. CVS and Kearney had all day to get my prescription ready when I showed up after work on my way home from Liberty they told me they did not have it. I made them look for it because I knew it was sent and they still claim. They did not have it. As I left there in frustration I decided to sit in the parking lot and call and they told me they do have it. As I was just simply going to see if maybe they could see if it was sent somewhere else by mistake but now suddenly they have it... Then they told me they couldn't get it ready for me that night. So I decided I would just get it after work on my way home the next day. Into my surprise the entire pharmacy is closed, drive through and all. Tonight I am grateful to the liberty CVS as they were able to transfer the prescription and have it ready for me when I got there. However, I had to backtrack and go back to Liberty just to pick up the prescription. But it never fails. I always have issues with the store. Someone needs to take care of it. Thank you, liberty CVS.

Terrible service, I run out of my medications nearly every month. Am told multiple stories. Out of stock, we are three days behind, etc. I don’t care anymore. I have medication I’m supposed to take daily and in 4 months I’ve never gotten them on time. One of my medications is now 5 days late. I was told yesterday it came in and would be ready in the hour. I’m writing this the next day, and they still haven’t filled it. The moment i can do so I’m switching pharmacies. I would go across the street to summers pharmacy which is what I plan to do once my current medications need refilled. Can I give 0 stars?

If I could give them a zero, I would. Dr calls in an inhaler and antibiotics for person. The person gets a text saying meds are ready for pick up. They assume that because the inhaler isn't covered under the insurance, the person doesn't want it and never fills the script. The person is now in the middle of a full-blown asthma attack, and they say the wait will be another hour.... are you kidding me?! The scripts were called in hours ago! I recommend you to take business elsewhere to a place the staff and pharmacist actually care for the ppl. 9 ppl behind the counter, and not one of you can put a label on a box and hand it to the pharmacist for approval, so someone doesn't die in your parking lot. Do better CVS....

Zero stars here. Got a call my prescription was ready. Drove an hour the next day and went through the drive through. They said they never received the order. Told them I received a call yesterday saying it was ready for pick up. They told me to wait in the parking lot for 10 minutes then drive through. Did so and was told it wasn't ready. Drive around again. Did so then they were VERY rude. Told me to do it again. I was getting tired of this game and I will just stay at the window. She then threatened to cancel my order. This store needs to be shut down. I will be calling their Regional and corporate office

Get it together. Like I get times are tough etc but when I am told " your rx isn't ready will expedite and be ready in a hour..." then I come back in about 2 hrs to be told it's not ready and to come back in about 2 hours.. I have kids and others things going on. CVS has been working on 2 of my 3 for 2 days now. The 3rd came in early morning....And thanks to my insurance we are stuck with CVS.

It shouldn’t take 3 days to refill a prescription Was told at drive thru it would be another 20 minutes. I would not have placed the order 3 days before if I wanted to sit and wait another 20 minutes. Time to find a better pharmacy . .

Can never get medication correct no matter how many times they fill the same script. Then they expect you to fix it when they screw it up. My sister also had her diabetic meds screwed up, if she hadn’t noticed the dosage was wrong it would have killed her. I fear for the public’s safety!!!

CVS is garbage. Switching to mail order pharmacy. The line is always 20 cars long and it takes ages to get your prescription. Pay people more and you might not be understaffed, CVS!

I have been trying to pick a prescription for 3 days now. They are always short staffed the drive through has been the only thing open recently and constantly a long wait. I waited in the very long drive through line only to find out the prescription was not ready yet. 3 days to pick up a prescription is ridiculous. We will be changing pharmacies.

Not sure why everyone is so negative about this place. It's the only place in town that has an array of things you might need at off hours of the day/weekend. I was able to get OTC meds along with a prescription easily. The pharmacist were nothing but nice and helpful. Emily at the minute clinic was very informative and tentative to our situation. I was easily able to make an appointment on a Sunday. I am not one to go to doctors or to take any meds OTC or prescription but I'm glad this option is available in town for that situation where it's needed.

I'd give their pharmacy a zero but it won't let me. They are constanly understaffed and have been looking for ppl for probably a few months now. If they can't find ppl use a temp service. but apparently they're not that bright Transfering my scripts to the pharmacy across the street.

Kearney cvs needs to get it together. Customer service terrible. Wait times and pharmacy terrible. Ive only lived in Kearney 2yrs but in that time it has gone from a 2 star rating to a 1 star and honestly give it sometime the way its going to be negative stars

Prescriptions are consistently late. Promises are regularly broken. Excuses are delivered by surly employees. I try to shop local but this is simply unacceptable.

I'm surprised to see such bad reviews. I'm in here frequently to pick up prescriptions for my family and I. Have never had a problem. Yes, they can be short staffed not their fault. That's the way the world is now. The people who do show up for work, you guys need to cut them a little slack. Thanks again CVS Kearney

One of the worst pharmacies I have ever been too. Was quoted 30-40 minutes for my script. Kept checking back and it was not ready. Finally 1 hour 30 minutes later I showed back up to pick it up because I needed it. I had to wait 30 minutes in line only for the pharmacy tech to tell me it was filled but she couldn’t give it to me yet and I needed to come back again. She had no idea how long. I understand people get backed up and busy. I’m totally understanding of that but also customers need their prescriptions and they should be filled in a timely manner with accurate quotes on when to expect it. Maybe reevaluate the staff on duty and their competency to handle busy situations!

Doctor sent them a prescription for an extremely sick child and they did not manage to fill it before close despite having seven hours to do so. Totally useless.

I have never seen more incompetence in a business than what I encountered at this CVS pharmacy today. You waisted my time and fuel today sending me somewhere else for a prescription you had. Thankful for the kind ladies at Liberty Target CVS who were able to get things worked out.

I've never given a single star review before. I've always given businesses or employees the benefit of the doubt. Who's to say that maybe they were having a hard time that day? I also worked retail at one point in my life so I tend to sympathize with what employees may be going through. With that said, this Pharmacy is by far the worst I've ever had to use bar none. I will be transferring my prescriptions over to a different company. Clearly there is an issue going on at this branch and nothing is being done about it. Look at all their reviews. It's pretty telling.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy to have expectations at. Any expectations. Timeliness, being open, having the prescription, customer service, or having appropriate staff. I guess the good news is that it operates like every CVS does. I don’t know how they stay in business but I hope it is working for someone. This would not be a place I would recommend anyone visit unless they want to practice patience or witness the bare minimum required to provide customer service and still keep their job.

CVS sucks! I have tried to make an appointment online and by phone and neither work. It is impossible to talk to a human and get help. And despite it being advertised as a walk-in clinic if you try that they tell you they can't see you even though there is noone with either nurse and noone in the waiting room

My wife had a surgery and the doctor called in the script at my direction to this location because of the proximity from our home. The pharmacy had the script by 8:30am or 9am and when I went up to get the medication they said they didn't have any in stock and didn't have a definite answer as to when they would have it. I said why were we not called? An employee named Lindsey started to yell through the window at me to answer all my questions and concerns. CVS overall has a policy on this stuff internally that is not designed to help the customer rather to make sure there are several more steps of calling Dr and then finding a new pharmacy to fill but had they called us the patient who would have to direct the Dr. where we would want it they made it worse and that caused my wife to get behind on the pain. I have a couple suggestions that would have diffused the situation. 1) be proactive and call the patient. Calling the Dr. to tell them does nothing to get the resolution 2) don't raise your voice at a customer, it's bad for business. I don't leave many reviews but I felt it necessary. She didn't know we had been up since 3:45am, she didn't know what kind of surgery and she obviously doesn't understand that a spouse in pain is the most humbling and emotional thing there is when you just want to take care of them. She thank goodness didn't become a nurse, but she is clearly in the wrong field or should go work for a mail order where there is no customer contact. There she could drink her coffee and hate life without it affecting others in the meantime. Calling CVS to file a complaint would do nothing because they are all so busy that they wouldn't care. Haven't seen a CVS that is patient focused yet because they are clearly overworked and try to do more with less staff.

I would leave negative stars if I could. This has happened to me multiple times but it won’t happen again because I’m done going to this pharmacy! Four times they told me to comeback and my prescription would be ready in 10 minutes! Due to work I could not hang around and wait so each time I told them I would be back the following day. Finally after the fourth time I decided I had to wait it out! So after 30 minutes not 10 I went to ask what was going on. It wasn’t until that time that someone actually started working on my script!! One hour later I finally had it!! Don’t waste your time sending your business here! FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY!!!!!

Horrible Customer service, Very Rude/Petty Pharmacy staff. I have been here multiple times to pick up a prescription and have been treated like I'm ignorant because I ask a question, or like I am a huge inconvenience. I am always kind to anyone who works at this pharmacy, and I feel bad for the very few kind pharmacy staff people that work here. Because in this case the amount of bad customer service that is provided definitely outweighs the Small amount of good. Definitely changed Where my prescriptions are sent, today! 🙂

I have never been treated so rudely as I have been when calling a pharmacy! I'm a disabled health care provider and if I were to treat a patient like this I wouldn't have a job! I'm a very kind and understanding person who has had bad days before also but you leave that at home. Lyndsey is the worst and the only reason I know her name is because I ask for it! They should automatically give their name that's just common sense. I would think since your calling them they would know you're not well and would want to make you feel better not to be talked down to like you don't matter. There are two pharmacist I enjoy speaking with and that's Tiffany and Brad they truly act like they care and they listen. I'm almost to the point of going somewhere else. It's pretty sad at a time when everyone is going through so much some more than others that this pharmacy hires people so lacking in empathy they can't show a little bit of kindness!

I'm happy with them and do I expect them to be perfect no I don't. Every establishment has their flaws one way or another. There are some things they have no control of but there's too many people out there who expect them to make no mistakes. Today I went in there to pick up a script and I said to myself might as well get a booster and a flu shot if I could so I asked and without an appointment 15 minutes later I received my booster shot and flu shot. I do not expect them to take me right then and I was told that some people expect that.

They won't answer the phone. You sit on hold for 40 minutes. I stopped in this morning at 8 when they open to ask if they had enough of my husband's medication in stock to fill his prescription. The tech at the window and the pharmacist say yes. The script gets called in and 5 hours later I get a text that says they don't have it!!! Then they won't answer the phone!!! Worst ever pharmacy!!! It's like this every month.

I don’t post reviews, but the doctor seen this morning (7/28/22) at the clinic was dangerously incompetent. She didn’t listen at all as my daughter described her symptoms. (She had tested negative twice for Covid and had symptoms of a sinus infection and ear infection.) CVS Doctor said it was only a cold. Glanced in her ears. Said she didn’t see bacteria… how does one see bacteria, other than seeing the deep green mucus? These symptoms have been going strong for over a week. They tested her for Covid a third time (negative again)and sent her on her way. Daughter immediately left that parking lot and went to Urgent Care in Liberty. That doctor said her ears were infected so badly that it was good she sought treatment today because they might have burst. Said her sinus infection was so severe that her face was visibly swollen. Doctor confirmed our suspicions that yes, this likely started as a cold but progressed to an infection that needed treatment. Never going to the CVS clinic again.

It’s the Monday after Thanksgiving 2019, under staffed again, this is the Kearney Missouri CVS. Rude pharmacy people. Rest of the store is fine. With that being said, the time wait is horrible all the time. Not just because it’s the Monday after a holiday. Pharmacy workers need to be trained in customer service. Just disappointed all the time we come here. Need small town pharmacies back they were customer oriented. Nice and helpful. Hire more employees to get the job done and teach them to be friendlier

EVERY TIME I use this horrible excuse of a business, it's a bad experience. Just call and try and talk to someone. Frustrating to say the least. I'm done giving my money to companies that don't care about there customers. CVS in Kearney is terrible. Not shocked to see there reviews.
