I am here at 6:00 in the morning because I arrived and forgot my laptop for a class I'm taking and have to buy a laptop and I am very thankful that this place is open. Easy to find it's a great location, and every worker I met were nice and friendly.

It is nice to go in and be able to get about anything. Groceries, clothes, baby iteams, toys, shoes, shelves, chairs,kitchen appliances& tools, bedding, paint supplies,games consoles, computers, laptops,auto...and more. There bathrooms are large and clean. I wish all stores had them in front & back. There are many things to look at. Arts and crafts were my stop that day. Camping is my fun to look at. I long to make a tent village, lol.

I was overcharged multiple times for items that did not ring up correctly at the listed price. Whenever I call to address this, I was told I would have to come into the store to take care of it. I do not have additional time to have to make another trip to receive a refund on something that was not my error in incorrect pricing in Walmarts check out center. This is a very common issue I have when shopping at Walmart.

Wal-Mart Corporate really needs to take a close look at the downward direction this location is taking. The overwhelming consensus from the surrounding area's customer-base is "The Boardwalk/Kansas City Wal-Mart Store #2857 is Dirty, Unorganized and has become a breeding-ground for a Less Than Favorable Crowd, regardless of the time of day". Comparatively speaking, the Wal-Mart Store #1120 located in Gladstone, MO has quickly become the location of choice. Clean, Organized and a Much More Enjoyable Shopping Experience...

Colleen deserves a raise. I spent over an hour trying to return a battery core today. I talked to automotive. Their manager, customer service, their manager, curbside's manager, the Walmart 800 customer service rep and their manager.Colleen happened to overhear the refund issue and said "there's a special Walmart one internal memo about this" and the problem is solved. She's amazing! Thank You so much!!!!!

Delightful young lady at the door... Elizabeth. Every nice lady to check us out. Didn't roll her eyes and throw the items like the last time I was at Walmart. When the woman said "you can check yourself out". Can't believe you can pay people to just stand around AND not work!

John in the electronics section was very friendly and approachable. He helped me with my questions and was patient with my limited understanding of the department. There was no one else there in the department to support him, he was running around trying to help everyone. He certainly does a great job to support customers with the limited resources he has. Thank you John for helping me!

I love how much they’ve stepped up their clothing game. They actually have gotten some really stylish things in not just clothing but all of their accessories, shoes, jewelry. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they never have a variety of my cats canned food. He only eats the blue buffalo as far as canned food goes, and they only ever have 1 to 2 different kinds of it. Their makeup is lacking a bit as well but I love that some of the locations carry the Hard Candy brand of eye shadow palettes now which I LOVE!!! And I also came across a brand called Lottie today. Only saw the one palette but I love it!!

My experience at Walmart on Boardwalk today:I showed up on my way to the airport to buy an electric razor and everything was under lock and key. While I might understand that that is done to protect the merchandise, most of these things come in boxes that are 4x8 in and not easily put in one's pocket. Add to that the fact that nobody in the store had keys to the cabinet. Four associates tried to open the cabinet and could not, so I ended up having to leave without a razor and having lost about 25 minutes of my time. If you look at the picture, I fail to find something I could put in my pocket and walk out of the store with.While I am not a frequent shopper to that Walmart I'm probably not going to go back there unless I really need to because chances are it might be under lock and key.

There were two people in electronics when I made my purchase, one young man was extremely helpful and took me to where the product I was looking for would be when it was in stock. He took the time to look it up and provide excellent customer service. I think his name was Cornelius. The other kid was clearly not trained as he could not make a cash transaction without getting help. Having worked at Walmart in college I sympathize with his challenge. It's crazy this time of year. I hope everyone finds patience for each other.

Always a fun trip never know what u may see & experience. We counted...30 empty check out lanes, 7 so called shift leaders, managers talking & screwing off, & only 1 staffed check out lane w 10 huge full carts waiting. Good thing we only had 8 items & all of the self check out lanes were open. What exactly are we paying Wal-Mart front end help to do? Because it does not have anything to do w helping the public or customer service!!!!

I enjoy shopping. I do not like the self service. I have issues with standing up for long period of time. This makes it inconvenient for seniors. The lines for cashier checkout help is long. When you don't have mobile cart available and you want to wait for one we don't have a bench to rest while you wait.

They accuse me of stealing when the reality was I was overcharged the whole situation felt like a double slap in the face and the police were gotten involved in an obvious attempted setup. It's caused me to miss my bus and have to wait nearly an hour for the next one as well as feel discomfort as I was out shopping alone with my infant child. I didn't use self checkout all the items that hadn't been rung up were mistakenly not ring up by the cashier and that was only one container of sugar I have been overcharged by $10 and had a container of sugar that wasn't rung up that cost two to three dollars causing them to have to refund $6 and some change. They had been following me while I was shopping they had assumed I was stealing before I entered the store and had followed my every move had known I hadn't stolen and had attempted to get me in trouble for stealing regardless of these facts. I hope in the very least the cashier is removed from the duties of dealing with people's money and the supervisor who oversaw this and led a crusade with the police involved to having me arrested for petty theft be reprimanded on some level by the company for their unprofessional behavior which could have led to the separation of me and my child as I would have been incarcerated for a day while they sorted out that lie which could have led to my child ending in CPS hands illegally due to a false report that was known to be false...crazy how that much damage was attempted to be done over a few dollars but when it's found out that they had stolen over twice that amount for me they offered to do nothing but refund me my money. Consequences shouldn't see a bias consequences are like justice and truth they're supposed to go for everyone they keep a balance to our freedom and I felt that this balance in my freedom in Walmart

Great Walmart. We were in from Wisconsin on a business trip. They had everything we needed and everything was easy to find. Clean restroom, friendly staff and a spacious parking lot. I’ve definitely been to Walmarts that I didn’t feel safe or comfortable. This wasn’t one of them. Great store.

I am appalled by this store! It has gotten worse as time goes on. No one willing to help, at least without an attitude. And let’s take a second to talk about the restrooms…. DISGUSTING 🤢🤢🤢There was tissue in all toilets, the toilets will not flush, they are broken, the soap dispenser broken and trash EVERYWHERE. The pregnant woman that walked in after me, man do I feel so sorry for her as it is ALOT harder for someone pregnant to wait til they can find a clean establishment.

I usually like this Walmart and the place itself is fine. But they need to get rid of some of the customer service people that work there because they are RUDE AS HELL. They have no phone etiquette whatsoever, just plain rude and unprofessional.

Need false lashes for dance competition, they were locked up and the employees keys were stuck (not her fault). Seems overkill when everything is locked up: lashes, mascara, etc.

Your customer service department sucks the employees stole 20 from me as. They were supposed to be helping me and the lady in the money center the foreign one is a idiot and acts like she hates her job the two managers I dealt with were worthless and was a huge part of the problem and was part of who took my money

Online grocery - Not only was the order over 20 min past the 1 hour pick up time, the order was shorted by 6 “out of stock” items. I Finally got my order a little after 7:20pm and went into the store to find similar items for the “out of stock” items on my own since it seemed to have been an inconvenience to the “shopper”, and low and behold there were 4 of the 6 items “IN STOCK”!!!!!!!!! I took pictures of all items to post on Google and Yelp with a similar comments about my experience!!! I really don’t understand how the online pick up is supposed to be convenient! This, after multiple issues leaves me to consider shopping at and doing business with a different business such as Hyvee or Amazon since I seem to be inconveniencing the staff. The pictures are the items did not get due to being “out of stock!``

I came here for an oil change and made a reservation online days in advance for 8am and I actually arrived early at 7:30, it’s 10:17 and I’m STILL waiting!!!! This is ridiculous and what’s the point of an appointment if I’ll be here 2+ hrs to get it done???? Like do better Walmart do better!

I went into this Walmart yesterday to return some Advil and Tylenol that I had bought a few days prior. The reason for my return was because I had an unexpected bill come up and I needed to get this money back to pay for my medicine that day. Which I needed much more then these items. I was being helped by a young girl who just about started my return when an employee named Juni came up, grabbed my receipts and said I had to bring them to the Walmart I bought them from because they needed to check the cameras because I stole these items. I just couldn't believe it. I've never stolen a thing in my life and I really don't appreciate the accusations. So because of this woman, I was unable to get my medicine that night which was awful. What a disgrace to Walmart and after I've spent so much money at this Walmart, I really don't think I will be returning here because of this woman.

Shopping? Sure. Oil changes? No. Good luck. It'll be 4 hours for an oil change to save only $20 over other places. And I mean if you have a scheduled appointment it'll be that long. The waiting room is packed. Enjoy walking around the store for hours.

I went to the auto center at this Walmart to ask for them to put air in my tire. I was not very low would have taken maybe a minute to add air to my tire. I am from out of town and had my son and my dog in the car. One employee asked his manager if I could pull up to do it and in the rudest tone he could he stated I would have to get in line and wait because he has to much going on

Walmart is unable to staff their stores. I know it's tough but you have to be losing biz due to the waiting in lines anywhere in the store. This time it was in the auto center. The lady working was doing her best to move the people through but it wasn't enough to keep up. I know the person in front of me had to abort the wait. I had to stay in line as I had purchased my tires online.

Don't do curb pick up unless you got time to burn! I sat for over an hour for one item. I was sick and was trying not to expose people but I could have been in and out in less than 15.No fault of the workers, they were busting their booties but clearly under staffed.
