This is the best place for all your grain and feed needs. They have everything from dog toys and harnesses to chicken food to bird feeders and bird seed. Everyone is so friendly and inclusive of all people. I highly recommend this store which has been family owned and operated for its sixth generation and almost one hundred years.

I've been shopping at Waldo Grain for 14 years, for a variety of purposes. This past year I've been having them make up a custom bird seed mix for me, among other things. The employees are so friendly, are always eager to help, and there are so many great items there for your indoor and outdoor animals. I'm so happy this historical local business has been able to keep their barn doors open!

Yet another Kansas City icon! I have been getting my bird seed and pet food here for years. I believe this family owned business is on its third generation of family members. Very conveniently located and easy to find. Parking is limited but just about right for the amount of traffic. Best prices in town for bulk bird seed and pet food. Great selection with fast and friendly service. Highly recommended by me!

Love this little place. I grew up coming here to get pet foods and grass seed. I now have my own place in Waldo and we just stopped by for our own dog treats & bird seed. We’ll be back later for our chicken feed and grass seed!

I went in today to get some feed for geese. The lady at the counter said they don't carry any but she said most people just feed cracked corn so she asked how much I want. I said not much as I just wanted to feed some geese at a park. She said it's only 70 cents a pound. I didn't have any cash but I didn't want to get a large quantity to justify using a credit card as merchants end up losing money on small purchases when credit cards are used. She just ended up giving me a couple of pounds of cracked corn in a bag for free. She was super nice and generous. It's gesture like her makes supporting a small business all worth it.

It's an old time feed store. With per pound feed for chickens, and ducks. And all the new grain free feeds for dogs and cats. Great place. So happy I found ya'll. Didn't want to go all the way to east Independence for my feed. Very happy new customer!

I buy my rabbit food in bulk here for a great price. The owner is kind and will bring your things to your car for you if it's too heavy. I highly recommend shopping here for any of your pets needs.

No bs type store,what you see is what you get,the staff is polite and knows what's in the store. They also have some pet items but they need more cat stuff. By the way if you have chickens they got something for them too.

I love having a farm supply store in Waldo. The guy who runs the place, perhaps he is the owner, is fast and friendly. You can even have drive up service if you have kiddos in the car and don’t want to get out.

Well this is my first and last time coming to this mill Waldo Grain Company I went to another dog mill in Grandview they were very helpful walk with me show me whatever I need it ask questions and provided answers for me this mill did not, he asked me if he could help me I told me I had a bully pit I need something a lot of protein grain free she just turned a year old he's show me a couple of dog food and I asked him about Eukanuba. The man acted like it was not any available. He didnt know i saw some back in the back then he turned around and said well we really don't keep much but I kind of keep them for my regular customers basically letting me know that he wasn't going to sell me a bag was going to keep him for his regulars. Then I said okay thank you, he said all right he walked away I guess helped another customer and never came back he left me in the store 15 minutes by myself I don't know if it was because I was black or he just think I wasnt going to buy anything but he completely ignored me and then left me in the store abandonded me like they were sitting back watching to see what I was going to do like a monkey in a zoo horrible customer service I'll just stick to the one in Grandview.

We love to buy our dog and cat food here, plus they sometimes even have a bale of hay that we can use for muddy spots in the yard… They have a wide selection of pet products. Waldo Tower Homes Association members get a discount with the discount card.
