The only time that I have visited the Smoothie King location near Zona Rosa was on July 7, 2022. The promise that the chain makes is to help their customers be an integral part of every health and fitness journey and inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle. In order for customers and people to be their best self and live life the best way, each of Smoothie King’s ingredients is chosen carefully, and every one of our blends is crafted masterfully. I am proud that Smoothie King tries their hardest to help customers eat healthier.When I went to Smoothie King in July 2022, I decided to order something that would help me watch my weight. Since I am a person who likes to drink vegetables sometimes, I ordered a Mango Ginger smoothie with Metabolism Boost along with a couple of other protein supplements in it. I would like to say that all the ingredients in the Metabolism Boost Mango Ginger smoothie tasted delicious when mixed together.If you are a person who is looking for smoothies that help your daily goals, ambitions, and other dietary plans, Smoothie King is the place to order smoothies for whichever health purpose is needed to achieve your goals of staying healthy, as long as you do not eat as much as you usually do. I would say to eat about only 2 meals a day in order to lose weight faster, and even make a smoothie one of your 2 daily meals. One tip that I would suggest to be healthy is to not eat full meals if you do not feel hungry at all, but snack on healthy things if you are feeling a little bit peckish to eat something.

It's not just this store it's every single smoothie king. No matter how many times I say extra extra extra extra extra extra extra extra extra peanut butter in the peanut power plus it never tastes like peanut butter. This used to be my go to and it was ALWAYS the best, but for the last few months, no one can get it right.Today at this location was no different. I even said... "There's peanut butter in the peanut power Plus, right? - Ok, please put 2 extras in there." - boom, straight strawberry.I'm 1 more visit away from never coming back.

Prime location, but horrible service.Initially, we try to order on the app and app code failed twice, besides the fact that the app is hard to navigate.We pulled up to order and there were no cars, we were told to hold and ended up waiting between 3-5 minutes for them to take the order. Paid at 10:24 left at 10:33. $16.41 for two drinks that were made wrong and are gross. She even handed us one that was dripping and we had to ask twice for napkins, because she shut the window while we were talking the first time.I do not recommend this location.

Waited way too long for a smoothie but me and my kids love smoothie king so we decided it was worth the wait. We got a mango fest and I got added diet down, vanilla protein, and spinach. The 1st time the order did not have my enhancers at least the spinach because the smoothie was yellow not green. The individual said my enhancers was in the drink. I let them know I get this smoothie combo all the time it should be green (I don’t even know if I got the diet down or protein powder). They “remade” the smoothie. I had a mango fest with spinach chucks.Definitely do not recommend this location!!

Smoothies are fine. Average for the chain. But the drive-thru setup makes me want to beat up cute baby animals. There’s one drive-thru on each side of the building, but they’ve recently changed it to where one is a mobile order pickup (which nobody seems to use) and the other is the only normal drive-thru. It makes the wait longer and the lines at busy times now snake through the parking lot of the strip mall this location is in. And exiting is a disaster because everyone from the QT and the smoothie king is trying to get out next to the stoplight on Barry, which slows down drive-thru speed even more. I suppose I’ll have to plan ahead and order online from now going forward.

I wanted to make a note that my family and I have been going to this spot since 2015 way before they knocked down the long John silvers and turned it into a star bucks on Barry 😂but today was absolutely disturbing in many ways! Let me start by saying Ive been in customer service all of my teen years and adult years so I know very well how customers are not always right but for 2 VERY NEW employees to argue with me about what I want in my smoothie makes absolutely no sense. I’ve ordered the same smoothie for 7 years SEVEN YEARS literally have had the owners daughter make it for me for 1 year straight and even helped me make it easier on the employees and taught me how to order it properly but not today! Today you could clearly tell that these kids did not know what they were doing and were very flustered trying to make things according to the menu which at first I did not mind. But when I had to people trying to make me feel dumb about a smoothie I’ve ordered from this specific place for 7 years is crazy. I’m telling them what I don’t want I do want in my drink and their telling me basically I don’t need this or that I’m my drink because it already has it in it. I understood that clear like the first 3 times but there is a button on the pos system that allows you to add more or substitute items ( I know this part because both my aunt and baby brother have worked here too) 😂they literally lost a 7 year long customer today. I miss kaylee and the owners daughter❤️ idk if it’s the employees or if it’s the lack of training and knowledge on the pos gladly driving to liberty atm to get my smoothie scared these two were going to spit in our smoothies if I continued to allow them to make it. And even though we were frustrated we did not be rude disrespectful nor curse at them towards them or make them feel stupid. But I did mention I’ve been going for 7 years

This is my third time at Smoothie King. I'm impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The first time I ordered, I had no idea what I wanted. Ocean suggested a pineapple surf. It was amazing and so is her customer service!! My second visit, Jorge helped me. He was so friendly and helpful. Today, I wanted to try something new, but wasn't sure what to get. Meadow suggested the Island Impact. Another great Smoothie and an employee with great customer service.

Always a good soothing smoothie. Multiple flavors and mixes to choose from. I particularly like the Caribian Way plain (no energy or protein shots). An excellent mix of fruit AND its lactate free! A little pricey but Five dollar Fridays is a great day to partake of the sultry Smoothie that is King.

Usually very good! Sometimes though they get my smoothie wrong, and I order from them everyday. Also, sometimes the drive through has a very long line. Also, even though most of the time I order through the mobile app, my smoothie often isn’t even ready when I get there, after the time that the app says it would be ready. Other than these type of issues, though, I still love their smoothies.

Our family has been big fans of this location for 5+ years! They’ve almost always had great service and quality tasting smoothies. Unfortunately the past 3 visits it’s been worse than ever. The young woman with pink hair is very friendly but the others are not. I waited 15 minutes today for 2 smoothies (& there was only 1 car on each side when I pulled up). And the prices continue to go up but the smoothies seem to get thinner and taste different than normal. Not worth it anymore!

The people who work in the morning are always friendly, helpful, and accurate. Sometimes this location does get quite busy but the employees work hard to get everyone their orders out quickly. I have always been impressed with the taste and quality of my smoothies. My experiences at this location have always been positive. Keep up the good work!

The girls (I think they are sisters) who work in the mornings are always so sweet and patient. I have been to other locations but will always come back to this one because my experience here has been by far the best. Great speed of service, quality drinks, and kind, cheerful workers. However, as a customer who has been coming here quite some time, I find the two drive through system to be confusing and wish they would consider changing the second line back to an online order pick up only.

I go here quite often, but today, October 24, 2022, the smoothies were terrible. The amount that they charge, for these is so high, this should never happen. I called the smoothie person at work, the drive-through and told her about it and she didn’t seem concerned at all. It’s too bad because I really loved this place.

I am only giving it 3 stars for one reason. First I will say I used to come here all of the time = particuarly when I worked at home and would get a smoothie for lunch. Their smoothies are very tasty to be sure, and they have a good variety, and used to have decent coupons - which unfortunately they have stopped. But the main reason I do not give four or five starts is that they market themselves as health food - and while they may give calories of an item - this is deceptive as not can you add - but that the sugar grams and carbs are loaded in here. It's not healthy at all. This place will make you a diabetic if not one and is an absolute danger to anyone who is. I remember asking the kids who worked there - and most are quite nice - about the sugar - and several said things like they were not supposed to tell or advertise this but they load their smoothies with sugar - thus the good taste. When I have asked to leave out the sugar - I have received I terrible tasting product. They can keep their menu - but they need to tailor a good tasting, low sugar product. They don't have antying for diabetics. So now I avoid. Heads up - this place does well but is serving a mountain of sugar in each drink.

The wait time for a smoothie is extremely too long. Waited for over 20 minutes just for my smoothie to not be made correctly. The individual remade it and it still did not taste good. Tried to explain to me the taste but I get the same smoothie all the time and it never taste like protein powder. Just go to another location.

I ordered a peanut power plus with strawberry. I received the wrong smoothie. I clarified at the window my order and still received the wrong mix. I wanted a smoothie that tasted like a PB&J but got a mediocre, $9 strawberry smoothie instead 🤷‍♀️ I would have let it slide, but it seems that every time I go to this location something is incorrect with my order. The Cosby Avenue location is better. Save yourself the trouble and money.

The Staff that work at this Smoothie King is very, very lazy.They have 2 drive thru windows, but almost all the time they have one closed, forcing all customers thru one drive lane. This allows the Staff to serve customers one at a time, at their leisure. Multi-Tasking or juggling more than one task at a time is something the staff at this Smoothie King is just not prepared to do. They also have a pick up window, so if you wanted you could park your car (and save Gas) and walk up and order that way, but that would require the staff at this Smoothie King to have to actually try, give an effort, multi-task and again, that is not something they are prepared to do, even with Missouri paying all workers $11/hr +If there is absolutely no one in line, u can expect to wait 15 minutes before getting your order. If there is one person at the drive thru window, you can bank on spending at least 25, maybe 35 minutes before getting your order. If there are 2 cars ahead of you, you might as well shut off the engine and save gas because you're looking at 45 minutes before you're going to get your order.And what is most frustrating, is that this is still true even if you order online and pay in advance! I ordered my 1 smoothie online. 1 smoothie. Online. Paid in advance. When I show up, it should be ready...but if there are 2, 3, 4, 5 cars waiting in line, I still have to wait in that line, in my car, burning Gas...just to pick up my one smoothie that I've already paid for and should be ready.There are plenty of other places to get smoothies or cold drinks, and the less business this location gets, the less work the staff there will have to do, which is exactly what the staff at this Smoothie King want.

I have been going here the past few weeks. The service has been exceptional! There’s a new girl, not sure of her name.. I think Livi? Olivia?? Anyway, she’s always so sweet and happy to make sure everything is taken care of and always offers suggestions to help if ever there’s an issue. Also, just awesome speed of service! You won’t be waiting long if shes got your order. She’s on top of it!Just a really great location to go to and the drinks taste fantastic!! Highly recommend 🤩

This smoothie king crew on Barry road got me through the worst dog days of the pandemic. They took the time to teach me how to use the mobile app to order ahead to save me time and earn reward points. Each of them did it with a smile on their face every single day even if the line was super long. Can’t say thank you enough to each crew member of this smoothie king location!

This establishment will leave 15 year olds alone to work for them in the evenings and close the place. If the teenagers speak about it the manager or maybe assistant manager (Eilyn) will tell them they are lying…which they are not. There is very poor communication skills to these teenagers who are trying to navigate through their first job. Their texts will be ignored when inquiring about their raises after they passed their tests and also when they aren’t put on the schedule. This is really sad because this could be a fun and great job for teens but management treats them awful.

Takes way too long to get a smoothie, and if you see at least two or three cars you best just head over to the Parkville location that has much faster service. The smoothies taste good but the extremely slow service ruins the experience.

2nd in line and we waited 10 minutes just to get up there. We placed an online order 25 min before and they had one ready, soon got our second one then we heard nothing nor saw anybody through the window for 5 minutes. Somebody asked what our 3rd one was, then we saw nothing for 5 minutes. They asked again, and then 3 more time what we ordered then said they would get it. 5 more minutes and they gave us it. We saw about 4 workers total and nobody was in any rush, and the times we saw them they were all just chatting to each other. My wife and son's tasted good, mine was underwhelming and mostly tasted like artificial sweetener, and my order should not have had any in it. This was my first time visiting...not a good visit. It was a slow time of day, one other car besides ours the whole time we were there. About 4:30pm on Nov. 7, 21.

I live about halfway between two locations, and will choose this one every time over the location off of 152/Flintlock. Even though there are 2 drive thru windows and a walk up, this location is really fast! I waited for 1/3 the amount of time with the same number of cars in front of me (plus one at the other window) as I did at the other location. Every single time the line has moved quickly in comparison and the employees have always been very friendly. The smoothies have always been full and delicious. The GPS directions when coming from the direction of the highway is a bit hard to follow, as this is located in a parking lot with no really good entrance from Barry coming from the highway, but once you figure out how to get here it is smooth sailing!

I come here nearly every Saturday after my run. Sometimes I wait 5 or more minutes just to place an order, even when there is no one else in line. Right now, I've been waiting 15 minutes and I don't have my order yet. So slow. Ordering ahead on the app yields slightly better results. I'd like to communicate directly with the manager, but that info isn't readily available.

I have a question. Why aren't any Mangers working, or Watching their teen workers? I asked for the manager a couple of days ago, and one of the workers then replied, “none of the Mangers are here currently.” mind you it was 8:30. Close to their closing time. Then today I arrived again. Same time, same place. Again the manger wasn’t there!! I don’t know if I’m the only customer that experienced this but it’s unacceptable.
