Love Winding River. The staff is very friendly and great space to let dogs be dogs as they enjoy and play. The groomers/bathers take the time to get my dogs clean and smelling good even when i know my dogs can be a bit difficult at times. Thanks to all the staff ❤️

We have been using winding river pet village for years! Our dog Minne loves it, and when we got a second dog we knew he would love it too. And he does! We love that they have so much outdoor play time! The staff are amazing and you can tell they actually care about dogs and love dogs! They have no website you have to call to book your dog but highly recommend!

We’ve been taking Lucy to Red Bridge since they were in a strip mall many years ago! Heather one of the owners is wonderful and knows who I am when call for appt. Their new location (no longer new now) is great, lots more room and staff are great as well. We’ll continue to take Lucy and pets in the future. Price is right, Lucy is excited when we pull in and knows she’s in for a real treat, even in her elderly years!

This is a fine place to board your pet. My kitty is always clean and healthy when I bring her home. The employees seem very kind and friendly to the visiting pets.

I am going to leave my feelings out of this review and state the one fact that matters…GROSS NEGLIGENCE on the part of Winding River. Dropping our dog & cat off for a couple days of boarding while we were out of town, I never imagined it would be the last time I saw one of them again. Five hours into the trip, we received a phone call stating our cat Vegas and another had been killed by a dog. Vegas grew up with 150lb Mastiff, played with a 100lb doodle, spent almost every evening outside, only to be taken to this kennel and eaten alive. DO NOT BE LIKE ME AND NOT READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS. Dead dogs, injured dogs, sick dogs, and now cats mauled to death by other animals, all in the care of Winding River.

Use to be a great place. I don't know why they're not now. New ownership? Management? They were very rude went I brought my dog in this last time. I went in my my dog and said good morning and Three very rude women immediately said where's his papers. Not good morning back. Not hello. Nothing normal just straight rudeness. Never again and I would suggest anyone else look elsewhere.

Butchered my dogs coat and toxic attitude from the nepotistic business owners! My dogs coat was shaved too close and she ended up licking the spots. I read comments of them killing other pets and without a doubt things have not changed with this sloppiness. Never coming back again.The owner and staff also harassed me after leaving a negative review. This place must sadistically enjoy killing cats and dogs because the way they treat humans is exactly the same way. No respect. They just want your money and want you to tell everything is good here. Well it's not. You can't put a price tag on such a horrible experience

My dog has been going to Winding River for 3 years now and always has the best time. I use their boarding, daycare, and grooming services frequently and they do an excellent job with him every time (and have the BEST rates in town). He's so excited when we arrive to their campus in the morning and never fails to come home exhausted from a fun filled day! The staff are always genuinely thrilled to see him and it's obvious how much he loves them as well. It's hard to trust just anyone with your pet, but they won't let you down.

Tried to check out this place because we live nearby and are looking for a vet, well, when we got there (was after hours but still daylight of course), I presume the owner case out to hurl abuse and profanities, and to tell us to go away. We sure did! Wouldn't trust him with my dog of course, sorry for whoever does. Judging from the reviews it looks like the village needs a cemetery.

I'm upset with my service today. After bringing my dog for a bath and toenail trim, they decided to give her a cut. The receptionist kept referring to a "he" said a cut and that's why the service was done. I informed her that I brought the dog in and said I wanted a bath and nail trim. It's also the service I actually scheduled. Also, I've been bringing the dog here for a cut once a year in April/May since they took over Red Bridge Pet Resort so at least 4-5 years, why in the world would the dog need a cut in December. They appear to write the service down each time I bring my dog. Anyway, I had to pay full price for a service I did not ask for which is slightly more than the service I requested and it was literally no big deal to her. Yes, I preferred to have an adjustment for this type of mistake . I understand that the service can't be undone but at least attempt to make a concession and have some emapthy for your mistake. I'm on the fence if I'm returning. She still looks cute but my dog is getting old so her fur may not grow back and thus the reason she has been coming more frequently for baths only. It was a pretty big error for me. I guess just make sure they can hear your request when you drop off your pet. Of course, if the receptionist confuses you with a man or someone else, it won't help much.

Winding River has been our dog boarding choice for the past seven years when we moved to this area. They are so friendly and know our dogs well, even though we only use boarding once per year or so. They have awesome options, like just boarding or boarding with daycare (where the dogs can run around outside all day with other dogs if they want, and play on the agility training equipment), and you can choose to have your multiple dogs kenneled together (in a large area). Our dogs got in a tiff once about food and they went ahead and separated them and gave us a call to let us know. You can bring your own food or they can use theirs for a low fee, and they’ll administer meds and do any grooming you’d like while you’re away. They always give a bath and will trim nails if your do will let them. (We have a very foot-defensive dog who literally lets no one touch his feet...or ears). They come home with a bandana. And if you have dogs you KNOW that smile and contented look they get when they’re happy. Our dogs are clearly so happy there! Even though our dogs are really old now, our next dogs will go there too. Vet on site!

Luv them, we have been taking our baby there for years and I never had a problem, you can tell they love what they do. I have used all services, the daycare, overnight stays when we go on vacations, as well as the grooming. They are Reasonable with the price rates also.

I was assured the price was $20 a night for my dog, and they would bathe her, all included. So, I'm thinking, 4 nights, $80, no problem. When I went to pick her up, the total was $130. Apparently, it's $25 a night, and they charge $30 for a bath. I wouldn't mind paying, but I'd like them to be honest with me up front. Even on their website it said $20 a night. Not happy with the sneaky pricing. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

My husband dropped our dog off for boarding when he picked him up he didn't act normal. When I got home all he did was lay down his coat was bumpy and missing patches of hair around his neck. He also had blood in his coat. They cut his nails without our permission. My husband called and asked what did they do to him they claim nothing. He was a happy playful pup before going there and it's been 3 days since he been home still not our dog. I told my husband to take him to the hospital to see if he has been abused. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We have been coming here for 13 years we have 3 dogs and they are always groomed to what we ask for. These are good people that work there and love animals thanks Heather and your staff! Not sure why anyone would post negative review about this place but you can't make some people happy ever.

Kept my dog here for an extended stay while moving. The people who work here are true animal lovers. I can tell my dog is well cared for and seems to be happy to go back when I come to visit her for walks. It makes a stressful time better feeling like my dog is in good hands. I highly recommend this place.

I've only ever picked up dogs from here that we're headed to a rescue. BUT... Staff is always helpful and prompt and sticks around to make sure my precious cargo is loaded and secured before going back to their jobs. They care about these dogs too.

We've been taking our dogs here for grooming for probably 10 to 15 years. They always cut our Goldendoodle and Scottie perfectly. If we've ever had an issue, we've talked to them about it and it's resolved. Our dogs are always happy when they come home and utterly exhausted, which is a great thing! They are affordable and know me and my dogs as soon as we walk in the door. We love it here as do Tucker and Doogan!

It is so refreshing to take your fur baby to be boarded and he is so excited to be there. I also love it when I pick my fur baby up the staff is interacting with him and looks like they truly love their job. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One of my dogs hates being boarded and loves it here. He gets so excited! I love that my dogs get so much exercise and am impressed that staff learned my dogs names and preferences so quickly. You can tell they really care. They are also very flexible which is so helpful!

I brought my pet in for grooming. I was called by a staff member stating my dog was on his way to a pet hospital because his ear was "slightly" cut. After arriving at the hospital, it was revealed that my dog's ear was hanging on by a 1/2inch. I had them bandage it and I immediately took my dog to our trusted vet hospital where they had to sedate him and reattach his ear with 9 stitches. I received no phone call later on in the evening from winding river grooming to see how my pet was, provide a explanation or to apologise. It is apparent that the best interest and health of my dog is not a concern to them.** In response to owners reply. I am sure you will come up with any excuse possible to cover yourself. Milo's ears were not matted and you did not call me until mid-day the following day. It is very unfortunate that your establishment is still operating with so many negative reviews. Your willingness to pay his vet bills does not excuse the loss of a portion of my dog's ear or the traumatic experience he went through. **

We bring our dog 3 days a week. He LOVES it! He would go every day if we’d take him. He’s been going since he was a little puppy. He’s now almost 3 years old. We took our other dog for years before she passed away. It may not be fancy but they love animals.

We take our standard poodle here for doggie daycare, boarding and grooming. They do a fantastic job with all three, which is why we drive past a number of other options to keep using them.The thing I like most about them is their overall love of animals. While my poodle's grooming is fantastic and she absolutely loves playing here, all of that doesn't compare to the fact that I know they'll take great care of her because they love her almost as much as I do.

As one of the owners of Red Bridge Winding River Pet Village I would like to address a couple of the posts. First, about the $75 charge for grooming. We did a bath and neatening when it was supposed to be a full haircut. We did not charge for the grooming at all, the $75 was for the boarding and grooming was free. The next time the pet came in we charged half price because of our mistake. Next, about the loss of a pet. It is never an easy thing when you lose a pet, especially when it is in someone else's care. Unfortunately in this business it will happen, not often but it does. There are never enough words to comfort an owner for their loss. We take care of every pet as if they are our own and if a health issue arises we take care of it immediately. In this situation an emergency tech was on site and a vet was here in 10 minutes. Nobody can be sure why this pet passed, which is why we went to KU for an autopsy. We do this for a living because animals are our life and we truly love them. We do whatever we can to care of them when you are away.
