We’ve been taking our dogs to Picture Hills for many years. The vets and entire staff go above and beyond. We had a viszla that was petrified to (just) get her nails clipped! When it was time to say goodbye due to her old age, they were willing to come to our home so she would be able to leave in peace and not be traumatized at the vet hospital. This is what they do for all fur friends that are in their care.

Dr. Petifurd at Picture Hills Pet Hospital is awesome! She really cares about my pets well-being! Everytime I come into the office Dr. Petifurd and even some of the other staff come to say hi to my pets and gives them lots of loves. I can tell they really care about their patients!

Dr. Sims and Dr. Petifurd are 2 of the most amazing vets I have ever had the pleasure of taking my animals to. From simple checkups to saying good bye to your fur babies. These women are top tier. To top it off all the techs and nurses there are also amazing and you can just tell everyone there loves there job. I'm so glad I have found this vet office and would recommend them any day of the week. 10/10

I selected Picture Hills because of the efficiency in transferring my pet's account from my former veterinarian. My pup has special needs and Picture Hills was able to meet and exceed all those needs. My dog is an 11 year old German Shepherd with some anxiety. I was able to get her in-processed and seen the same day I called to make an appointment. Dr. Sims and crew were very empathetic to her needs. I was beyond happy to find this place.

I’ve been taking my dog here since he was a pup. I am not sure how to even put it into words how incredible the people are that work at Picture Hills. I trust them 110% with my pup and wouldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else. They are so patient and caring. You can tell that they all have has such a love and passion for what they do. I am very thankful for them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

We have been bringing our pups to Picture Hills for close to a decade now. Can't think of a single criticism - the staff is kind, helpful and always follow up. We get quick responses for questions and suggestions when needed. Our current dogs are 9 and 12 and in wonderful health, largely due to the great care they receive.

What an awesome vet! We always see the building but never thought to use them until Blue Pearl sent us to them during our pup's need for an emergency csection. They handled our girl and her puppies with the upmost care!

Picture Hills is a loving caring animal clinic. I have gone the the clinic for over 30+ years with all my pets. It has recently changed hands and I was a bit concerned that no one else could do the same job as the previous vet. They have proven themselves caring and loving with the animals. They are organized and helpful. They even called two days after a possible very sad diagnosis for my dog, just to see how she was doing. I like that a lot. The vets are comfortable getting on the floor with your animal to examine or just to get to know them. They have been very safe protecting people and animals from COVID. I highly recommend the Picture Hills Pet Hospital.

Dr. Petifurd has been amazing with my dogs. She has seen them in a moment’s notice and shown the utmost care and professionalism. She does a fantastic job explaining everything and is very kind. Very compassionate. We only go on Wednesday’s to see Dr BRAWLEY as we’ve taken our dogs therefor almost 30 years. She’s semi retired. Hence the Wednesday’s. New vet is also very nice but set in my ways. My husband carries Posie in and out. She just crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday.

Even with one of my dogs that lacks good vet etiquette they are not phased or judgemental at all, just there to help. This place is absolutely amazing. They always go the extra mile for our elderly german shepard. The admin, nursing staff, and doctors always treat our family member like she is one of their family. Its the small things like sitting down with her and they know when she is anxious and give her sone space. Highly reccomend.

We are very thankful for picture hills that narrow clinic. They save their dog's life the other day. She had overheated shoes of English bulldog and their facility was clean and the staff was very attentive made a bad situation at least tolerable. Thank you.

They went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable. She is very dog reactive, so them allowing me appointment times with as little interaction as possible with other dogs. They made me feel like my dog was the best dog that ever seen in there and the truth is I believe they make everyone feel that way. Picture Hills is a great place to take your pet! Dr. Sims is wonderful and does such a good job taking care of our two chihuahuas! All the other staff members are very kind and knowledgeable as well. Very accommodating and friendly! They take the time to make sure my cats are comfortable and happy which is a very different vet experience than I’ve had anywhere else. During our first visit, Dr. Sims got on the ground next to my cat who usually hates the vet and pet him nicely to do his exam. It was so very different from places where they just come in and hold the cat down to give them shots and then leave. They were very helpful with tips when we got a kitten as well!

New to Kansas City and I have a mom Pekingese and her two boys. My dogs are a bit spoiled and not afraid to convey their likes, dislikes or fears when it comes to groomers, dog walkers or vets. They all needed shots and blood work and to find a vet they’d love and we found it at Picture Hills Pet Hospital. They were treated so well and professionally. The dogs were all comfortable and happy with both vets and the entire staff. Great, warm and professional atmosphere. Super clean and well run. Thanks for caring for them as we would.

If you want EXCELLENT care, a loving and compassionate staff that goes the extra mile for your furry babies, Dr. Sims and Picture Hills Pet Hospital is the place to go!!Dr. Sims goes above and beyond to make your furry babies feel right at home, and treats them as if they were her own. She takes time to answer any questions no matter how small and helps you feel comfortable to ask questions about the care that your pet is receiving. She took great care of our cat when she was sick and got her in same day, which was wonderful. Picture Hills Pet Hospital also has a place to board your pets, which we recently used for both our dogs, one of which is diabetic, and the other is prone to seizures. Her expertise gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in excellent hands, and we knew they were receiving the same great love and attention that they get at home. We even got updates from the office while we were away on how the dogs were doing.I can't imagine taking our furry babies anywhere else. Dr. Sims is a true blessing in our lives and our girls love her and the staff!
