Fantastic! All of the staff is very kind and helpful. I have gone to 3 different locations of Go Pet Go/Peterson pet since I have returned to Kansas City. I had a magically fabulous groomer where I was living. A couple of the groomers did him cute but, nothing like the perfect groom. Then along came Shelly @the north oak location, spectacular job!!! So happy, I usually take him every 2 to 2 and a 1/2 months and do the mid time clean up myself with a couple of baths. I was back to Shelley in 6 weeks. That 1st picture is of my perfect groom. The others are Shelley, a little bit difference but amazing.

I have never had a bad experience with Patterson Pets. Great dog food selection and they are always wonderful with my dog when he gets groomed. Always friendly and helpful. My dog, Reese, loves everyone there. Even the groomer! He leaves happy and looking quite handsome.

I took my pom in for a bear cut and when she was picked up it was NOT a bear cut. They shaved her and now she looks horrible. When I called for a refund they won’t give me one. They was supposed to call me back on Monday and never got a call so I called Tuesday and they said the GM was going to call me and here it is Thursday and no call from her so I called again and still saying no refund. They want to give me half off next visit but there won’t be one because of the bad job and all I have felt with. When I talked to Megan that gave her the cut she said she didn’t know what I was talking about. If you don’t know what something is don’t say or try and do it! I SO WOULD NOT GO GET MY PET GROOMED HERE! Matter of fact with the poor Business they have I wouldn’t give them any money. This place is a joke!! Here is a pic of her.

These people, Shelly and Maria, CONSISTENTLY IMPROVE MY PUP'S LIFE.I LOVE THEM.have been here for 3 weeks in a row, happier and happier everytime! So I gave Maria and the store she manages a try and I am SO GLAD I DID, Shelly (sp?) did an even BETTER job than the shop on Johnson Drive!! Thank you so much you guys! Today was a great experience, and we will be back! Thank you soooo much!! I wanted to add, that I thought it was really a big deal that Shelly noticed my dog is sweet, shy, nervous, but amiable as long as she can at least see the door to any room she is in, in less than 10 minutes she observed things I didn't know about my baby for a year or 2. Again Thank you!

I recently came into Go Pet Go to find a food for my very sensitive and allergic dog. I was promptly greeted by an employee named Carlie. She was extremely knowledgable about everything they carry, which made my search so much easier. She asked me many questions to find out his specific needs. I ended up purchasing something that my dog loves and actually agrees with him. I cannot begin to tell you how valuable this service was to me and my dog. Also, the store was extremely clean and organized, which made me comfortable buying my food there. You have a life long customer now! Thank you guys so much for really listening to my concerns and being so educated on canine nutrition.

Update to my previous review... We took our Standard Aussie Shepherd to get his first professional grooming here. Amanda absolutely killed it! He has a ton of hair that mats easily and she made him look absolutely perfect! I would recommend this place again! Over and over again!We absolutely love this place! Everyone is so awesome and friendly! They are very reasonable and they have the best self dog washers with quality soaps! I would recommend this place a thousand times over!

Always helpful and clean inside. My dog loves the honey dipped beef trachea from there. They also have a lot of food toppers that I can't find in other pet supplies stores

Edit: since my original review things have changed. We don’t go here anymore. I changed my grooming location. And wouldn’t go back. I wasn’t pleased with the new ownership. My new dog never set foot in Pettersson Pet.I've always had a great experience. We have Jenny groom our dog and she's fantastic. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This location was recommended to me by several in our neighborhood and the recommendations were spot on! We have 2 Maltese puppies and I was needing a groomer. We've taken our puppies twice and both times, the staff is friendly and loving towards our girls. The prices are also very reasonable and they do an excellent job with grooming! While I haven't bought any product, the store is clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend the grooming services to others!

Just left here with my crazy goldendoodle puppy and 2 year old in tow. The staff here always takes it all in stride and never makes me feel bad about the craziness of my two little ones. This is why I come back here again and again, plus they’re wonderful with our pup. Thank you to everyone who worked today and dealt with us!

I have nothing but good things to say about this grooming salon and this specific location. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. I take all 3 of my dogs here and have been for over 2 years. The whole staff is just so friendly act very happy to be there. Will continue giving my service to. Highly recommend!

We had a great first time experience at Go Pet Go in Gladstone! It was my 9 month old puppy's first time being groomed and the staff there were very considerate and helpful! They made my girl feel comfortable and did an awesome job grooming her! The price was reasonable as well! I'm so glad we found a place we can rely on for grooming our pup!

Terrible experience I want to pass along! Our regular groomer doesn't work on the weekends, and so due to my work hours I had to choose a different groomer. I tried go-pet-go on N. Oak. I called ahead for a bath, haircut and nail trim, when we arrived for our appointment they had only written her down for a bath and nail trim so the groomer proceeded to push the subject that they didn't have time to shave her because of their error. They were very rude to us and it was their mistake not mine! It was a very poor customer service experience and as a groomer your in the customer service business!I left the dog and went back to pick her up 4 1/2 hours later. Only to find a Terrible shave job, she's shaved in some areas with big stripes down to bare skin and others with an extension on the blade so very uneven! Nicks everywhere and she didn't shave any of her bottom, or her belly. Don't waste your time or money for a groom at this Go Pet Go! You can do it better yourself!We have contacted the store manager as well as the regional manager, but have not heard back from the regional manager.

This is a great place to bring your pets for grooming or to pick up some quality food for them. My kids really enjoy bathing the dogs themselves and I enjoy not having to clean up the mess from allowing them! Very friendly staff as well!! We went to Petco for many years, but can say we have not gone there since we started going here.

Very friendly, even when I'm running in at the last minute. They carry high quality dog foods and most employees are very knowledgeable about the different foods. I work with a rescue so I'm constantly changing foods depending on what dog I am fostering. They listen and advise on what they have available without forcing any particular brand. And love using the tall baths for stinky rescue pups!

My experiences visiting this store just gradually get worse. EVERY time I come in to buy food, they always try to get me to buy something else. Our GSD has allergies and the food I buy, is perfect for her. It’s very frustrating having to repeat myself to the associates.I took her for a nail trim and she came out with very uneven nails. Some nails weren’t even trimmed. I asked why and the gal who did it was apparently in training. They had a “groomer” fix them. Next trip for a nail trim, they tried to scam me! I had a free trim with my points and I TOLD her that. She then proceeds to tell me it’s $5... excuse me? I told her no, it was free with my points. She explained it isn’t free for the trim and grind ... I never asked for the grind? I wanted my free trim which is earned (a perk of coming in this store.)We took our Aussie for a groom yesterday and the lady asked us if we wanted him shaved ... SHAVED!! If they knew anything about the dogs they were grooming , you’d know you don’t shave double coated breeds as it ruins their fur. We had to them explain in depth what we wanted done. I come back to get him and they tried to ring us up without me seeing him. No way. I told her I’d pay AFTER I saw him because I was terrified she’d went ahead and shaved him. The attitude I then received from the cashier and the groomer was unacceptable.We are done visiting this chain and I will happily drive any distance for our food / grooming needs.

Absolutely horrendous experience! My dogs have gone here for almost 2 years and our last 2 appointments with them have been absolute disasters. My husband showed up to drop our dogs off and they told him we didn't even have an appointment and that I must have called the wrong location. I explained to them that I had booked the appointment while I was in the store and had a card with that date and time written on it. They reluctantly accepted my dogs. Before my husband was even able to get home they called him saying one of my dogs had bit their groomer and they needed to go home. HE HAS NEVER BITTEN ANYONE IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE!!! It sounds like they just didn't want to accept my dogs if you ask me! When my husband went to pick them up the groomer who was "bitten" even pulled my husband aside and told him that our dog was not being aggressive and that it was an accident but the manager saw and made him go home. Now I've been told by Jennifer there that he is never welcomed back. I, for one, am glad to never bring my dogs back there. What a terrible establishment. They were wonderful until they remodeled and lost Pam, the groomer who used to always do our dogs.

We like the store and people. But they did a terrible job in grooming my dog. People claimed to be experienced and professional but I genuinely doubt that. I took the full service package (spa and grooming) and at the end of the day we got a call they couldn’t do much not even the nails because the dog is resisting. “Hello” you guys are doing her nails for last 1.5 yrs. Now my dog looks like as if she is attacked by woodpeckers. Now my dog is scared, sore and ugly looking. Terrible grooming service.

I was recommended through a friend, to take my senior dog to Go Pet Go, for grooming care. Jenny Noland took incredible care of my sweet girl until she passed away. I have since adopted another rescue pup and I am offered the same care and consideration regarding this pup's needs. The entire staff has always been so helpful. I won't go anywhere else!
