She also assisted me picking out my dining room table and lamps. She was so helpful and really took the time to understand my style. Visiting Nell Hills is always a must when looking for beautiful, & unique home furniture or accessories. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wonderful in-house designer, Jenna Witteman, in my own home with help selecting custom draperies, and gorgeous wallpapers. She made the process so fun and helped me select a beautiful one of a kind look. Jenna is a delight to work with and I look forward to working with her in the future in other rooms of my home!

I enjoyed my quick visit to Nell Hill's this weekend. It's a treasure trove of lovely things, definitely leaning toward very traditional decor such as ginger jars and botanical prints. Despite all businesses struggling to find employees, I was greeted, helped, and didn't feel like Nell's was understaffed. The price point is definitely higher than say a Home Goods, but so is the cuteness factor. I enjoyed walking around and getting ideas for table settings, general decor, and swooning over the fabric upstairs.

She has made each room or piece so special. She is kind and truly cares about making each room or piece of furniture special for each individual. Nell Hills is my go-to destination for home furnishings and accessories. Love so many of the unique and beautiful product lines they carry in the store or that can be placed as a special order. Love that they are a one-stop shop for upholstery, wallpaper, and rugs as well as hard and soft good. This makes the design process seamless and allows for complete customization for so many of their lines. The sky is the limit.Their designers are fabulous, especially Anne. She has a great eye, is super responsive and always goes above and beyond. My experience with every Nell Hills employee has always been just as great as it has been with Anne, from Katie, the owner, to the greeters, front sales desk people, in-home furniture installers and warehouse employees.Can’t say enough great things about this Kansas City gem!!

I love this store! It has so many options. I also loved working with Rebecca, who helped me put together a gorgeous living room. She was thoughtful and patient with us as we decided on materials. She continued to search for just the right rug, when we had to send back the one we wanted because of a defect and then they stopped making it. I really appreciated her flexibility and all the options she provided us without it feeling super overwhelming.

Nell Hill's is always a very fun place to just amble around and get ideas of how to make your home the sanctuary that you want it to be. It is a little pricey but there is a sale room tucked into one corner. I got some amazing planters in there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Even if you are completely able to walk up the stairs to the second floor you should check out the elevator. It is gorgeous inside. While you are at it check out the bathroom on the second floor. That is very lovely as well.

Reese was especially attentive, great listener, no pressure, genuinely helpful to me as I found the just right chair and custom fabric for my home office. I rarely travel to Kansas City without a stop (and shop) at Nell Hill’s. Displays are never the same from visit to visit- always something new to catch my eye! Although I live in Houston, I am very fortunate to have Taylor whom I’ve adopted as my Nell Hill’s design coordinator, Taylor, who is only a text away! I can throw her a design predicament and she is quick with an option, and their shipping department has my order at my door within a week. Thank you NH!

What is not to love about Nell Hill’s?!?! It is a “must visit” destination in Kansas City, which draws people near and far to indulge in the ultimate shopping experience. It is a wonderful place to go to for decorating inspiration and personalized home styling advice. However, the best part of Nell Hill’s, is the staff! Katie Laughridge, who took over Nell Hill’s four years ago, makes it her priority to have a team who are kind, professional and deliver exemplary customer service. The one name that comes to my mind is Kelsey Harkins. She always has a smile to offer, which is just as genuine as her kindness and passion to help you have the best shopping experience.
